Food › Re: What Is Your Best Food ? by nex(m): 2:24am On Aug 18, 2009
Spaghetti with Chicken. Though between spaghetti and chicken. But between spaghetting and chicken, I prefer chicken. I just ate a fat chunk of juicy chicken a couple of hours ago.

Also love pepperoni pizza. Between pizza and chicken, I still prefer chicken.
Food › Re: What Is Ur Favorite Nigerian Packed Noodles? by nex(m): 2:16am On Aug 18, 2009
Indomie is originally from Indonesia.

These days, Indomie noodles tastes just like saw dust (if you throw a few raw crumbs in your mouth) .

There's a prank myself, my sister and her boyfriend play on one another. When someone is going to buy food for the house and nobody else wants to come along, you buy them the exact opposite of what they asked for. So there was a day I went to buy Indomie noodles and I bought everybody else these new brand of noodles I'd never seen before. Cherio Noodles. By the time I was cooking them, the aroma of the cherio noodles made me taste them. They are out of this world. Real noodles. It's just that ever since, I've not been able to get my hands on them. They're very scarce in the market.
Food › Re: Fish Lovers Come On In! by nex(m): 2:05am On Aug 18, 2009
Love fish so much. Last year, boxing day, I and some friends bought these extra large Croakers and grilled them at home.

A couple of months ago, some friends of mine just for fun asked for grilled Catfish at a joint and we were told that grilled catfish wasn't sold anywhere in the world cos catfish couldn't be grilled.

We went home, took some out of our pond and grilled them. Most delicious way to prepare catfish. It just takes a lot of time.

roasted cassava is most likely poisonous. Don't eat much of it. Not enough cyanide heated off.

@ikeyman

Go back in time. 2007 search OLPC. I told Nigerians that these people were scam and as long as they are out to scam Nigerians, it will turn over on them.

The same thing happened to our friend Thor. The CBN Governor sent him a letter about some hundreds of millions of dollars stashed somewhere in a European Bank.

Our dear Thor wanted to be rich of course. He'd had it with the poverty plaguing Europe, he wanted some of those mint Nigerian millions of dollars. He could smell it, he could touch it, hmmm? Why is this account not transferring? Is the server bad? But I put in the PIN right, I paid all the charges. O me God! I've been scammed!

So here he is on Nairaland trying to vent his frustration on innocent, unsuspecting, hardworking Nigerians.
Politics › Re: The Igbo Question: Why Nigeria Cannot Work by nex(m): 11:13pm On Aug 17, 2009
@JamesG

Really, not everybody that says I'm Ibo, I'm Igbo, has anything to do with Eastern Nigeria. Be very vigilant. Not everybody that opens an ID with an Ibo word is real. Nairaland does not have a tribe detector. If only there was such a software for the moderators to install, you would be shocked.

@OnlyTruth

who the fuçk is Pa Enahoro? Is that the man who is sponsoring you to spread all these lies? What's the name of that your 419 group. NADECO abi FEDECO?

Your plan shall fail. Oh! The Ibos and Edos were engaged in war doing the civil war, who the heck wasn't? You think that is enough a mantra to spread hate with? You need to try harder.

But why are you trying so hard to bring up something that will stir up hate against Ibos? Why try so hard?

Go and stand in front of your mirror and say to yourself, "I love Ibos". Let's see if that mirror won't shatter. Liar!
Politics › Re: How James Ibori Bankrupted Intercontinental And Oceanic Banks by nex(m): 10:57pm On Aug 17, 2009
James Ibori did not bankrupt Intercontinental Bank. Intercontinental Bank bankrupted themselves. It is on Nairaland here, the documents released from the court judgements to show that Intercontinental Bank was the bank of choice for other looters such as Lucky Igbinedion. It is obvious that they helped Ibori stash his cash too. Now they've paid dearly. I see nothing the man has done wrong than teaching them a lesson. You lay with dogs, you get fleas.

OnlyTruth, I confirm that you are not from the East. You're a Boko Haram agent trying to make the Ibos look like hateful people who look down on others. What is your aim? To reciprocate this kind of feeling from other people? You are a liar! You are a devil!

The life of a shark is worth $200,000 , but these terrorist have told the Oyibo people at Shell that our lives are worth 5 times less than that. Now we now why they shouldn't bother.

They could even wipe out an entire state and pay a couple billions. That'll give them space and rest of mind to work.

Did you see me post about Pete Edochie here? The URA clowns are pricing the lives of their lost comrades at $65,000 dollars only. Last price. "Gaskiya". With "fisi".
Politics › Re: New Militant Group Emerges From The Niger-delta (URA) by nex(m): 8:33pm On Aug 17, 2009
$65,000 for the life of a Nigerian citizen. You see why I get so frustrated when these boneheads make demands. Is this the fight of the Niger Delta?

I wouldn't have believed this rubbish if not that I was in Delta just before this happened and had heard word from the grapevine that some cultist wanted run haywire.

I guess he's one of those leaders that are ruining this country and oppressing the youths.

They should make their demands known. Nollywood should be banned?  The movies are corrupting their kids? The quality of Pete Edochie's movies are too poor?

Let's celebrate these terrorists and kidnappers too. They're fighting for a cause. They're fighting a noble cause.

They're not touts and common criminals. They were dressed in suits, I'm sure they are graduates that have been moved to take action against the theme of Pete Edochie's movies.

Who's next? Jay Jay Okocha? Agbani Darego? Chioma Ajunwa? Chimamanda Adichie?

Let's go there!

Politics › Re: Violence Mars Ekiti Re-run Election by nex(m): 7:04pm On Aug 17, 2009
Let me tell you all why violence has rooted It's feet more solidly in Nigerian politics.

From the Judgements I've read of these Electoral Tribunals, when they are trying to invalidate votes and count what they believe are the valid ones, they cancel areas where rigging is confirmed and they cancel areas where electoral violence is widespread.

Now, it is difficult to prove that there has been rigging, but electoral violence is obvious.

For example, elections have ended in Ekiti, we've not heard a proper outline of the rigging that has taken place there because most of it is done secretly. The violence however has been well documented. So let's see why electoral violence is so important in today's politics and please pay attention (I'm saying that nicely. This is really important).

Knowing the rules the Electoral Tribunal uses, when party A sees a particularl ward where party B is massively outshining them, they give some touts guns to fire a few shots and try to ensure at least one or two people die. This will be necessary as evidence that votes in those wards are cancelled by the time the case gets to court.

Party A appears in court and says party B got so many votes in ward 1 because they killed our supporters and drove them away. "Your Honour, if you remember the violence on the 16 September 2009, 2 people were killed by supporters of party B blah blah blah."

This new electoral tool was developed by Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Barrister Bisi Adegbuyi of the Action Congress and that is how they were able to get some results upturned.

Now the PDP may be slower in thinking, but they catch up somehow and they are more experienced o violence.

It all comes to a system of creating pockets of violence in their opponent's stronghold in order to invalidate the votes there.

This is where the politics have gotten to. Just a prelude to the Tribunal. That's why everybody must contest election results. Happy Elections 2011.

Thank you very much. I know we've had our arguments and we've had our agreements too. You're a very open minded person. There's hope.

@Bialegend

did you join all of those groups? Did you join any of them? Where is your love? I'm sure you're celebrating Liverpool FC or Manchester United according to the images that your mind is colonized by. Meanwhile your team that yearns for a little support, a few jerseys bought, you turn your face from them. I'm sure you will not know that Adidas discontinued their endorsement of Enyimba jerseys because of low patronage. Where is your support? Where is your belief in them?

Your heart may be there, your words may seek well, but your actions do not do promote the Ibos and I really doubt that most of you people posing as Ibos and coming here to brew hate against them are their worst enemies.

Still if you cannot go to my Enyimba group and find the date it was open, them you continue to be a very big liar and a propagandist.

Politics › Re: Was Hillary Undiplomatic? by nex(m): 4:07pm On Aug 17, 2009
A diplomat is not supposed to show personal emotions or irritation. If a diplomat gives a speech and starts crying, that would be what their country sent them to do.

The Americans are not really disturbed about the way Hillary behaved to Africa. I personally believe the way she acted in Nigeria was the way she acted in other African countries she visited. I heard she talked down a reporter in one country.

What the Americans are really worried about is that Hillary brought the entire electoral system of the USA by unilaterally declaring that it is also riddled with fraudulent activities and rigging. She even cited one example off hand.

That really is what the Americans are complaining about. They are just mentioning the other things she did to the African countries in order to buttress their point.
Politics › Re: US Army Prepares For Nigeria’s Possible Break-up (2015) by nex(m): 3:45pm On Aug 17, 2009
What really people should ask themselves is why the CIA is so interested in instigating Nigerians to break up. Could it be that if Nigeria remains together till 2015 we could become a regional competitor to them just like India and China?

In the 1980s it was the same USA that instigated India to go to war with China because China had concluded plans to colonize India. Well, the Indian government took the documents and cremated them. Did China invade India? No. Have China and India started competing with India for resources and markets all over the world today? Yes. Have China and India become more powerful? Yes. Are they rapidly moving to take over the position of the USA? Yes.

Now let's go to some stupid African people called the Eritreans.

Then, Ethiopia was the most powerful country in Africa. They challenged other continents for the rights of African Nations, they repelled colonization, they caused brain drain in other continents by attracting specialists from all over the world. They gave Africans all over the world hope and pride and belief in themselves.

So the CIA came to instigate war and disintegration. They called on different tribes to break up and provided support at the level of the United Nations for self determination. Finally, Eritrea broke off taking the entire coast of Ethiopia and making it landlocked. After decades of war and killings, are the Eritreans doing better today or worse? Are the Ethiopians doing better or worse? From first position in Africa, where are the both of them in the world stage today?

Third example is the state of Rhode Island in the USA which has been crying against marginalization and has been calling for separation from the Union for decades. The USA that supports self determination, why haven't they supported Rhode Island to leave their Union after all these years? Is the USA with Rhode Island in it not the number 1 country in the world today?

So you have to wonder. You really have to think what their plan is.
