I don't believe I have any beef with you. Just go do your research and come back here to testify.

By the way, I'm a supporter of Enyimba football club. I started an Enyimba FC group online some months back. Don't tribalize things EVERYTIME! Everyone is asking questions about Nigeria. There's no particular language to it.

All this this thread will achieve is tribal hatred and all you people accumulating hatred against a particular tribe which you claim to belong, I doubt your claims. You're impostors.

Nigerians say that a project which took 13 years to complete was hurried. This really scares me. It shows that Yar'Adua is working at the right pace for Nigeria.

It is very perilous for any nation to leave its capital on the shore where it did not voluntarily situate it, but inherited it from a foreign dictatorship. For security reasons, Abuja had to be it.

For every region to have a sense of belonging, there had to be a capital centrally placed. Too.

For better planning, especially in the face of population explosion in Lagos, the capital had to move to Abuja.
Politics › Re: Ghana: Nigerians Must Go by nex(m): 7:49am On Aug 17, 2009
Nigeria must go! It's just as simple as that.

Nigerians are the most hated people in the world today, and the most discriminated against. Just as it was in the Old Testament, so it has continued. Persecuted wherever we try to make home. Nigeria must go.

The Ghanaian Government has prepared a grand plan to make every Nigerian company deposit $400,000 before their licences will be given or renewed to do business in Ghana. No matter the business you're running in Ghana, you will be required to pay this amount. Once the Ghanaian government notices that 90% of Nigerian companies have complied and paid that sum, then the Nigeria Must Go project will be played out. It is all carefully planned. State sponsored riots will start where Nigerians will be killed and the Government of Ghana will then appeal to all Nigerians to peacefully leave for the safety of their lives and properties, leaving behind their non-refundable $400,000 in the coffers of the Ghanaian government.

When I saw this topic, I was trying to call my half-sister in Ghana to inform her about it, but her line wasn't going through. I didn't know she had already arrived in Lagos a few days back and was in the house in Benin the day this topic was first posted.

She told me everything and how the Nigerians are preparing to deal with the plan. They'll leave alright, but not before scooping the last dime of cash they invested in Ghana. Imagine her paying $400,000 for a licence to sell food to low income Ghanaians only to be chased out after a few months. Anyway, I trust her judgement. Urhobo wayo, compared to Ghana sense.

Personally, I believe Nigerians should leave other people's countries and come to clean up theirs. The UNITED NATIONS should pass a resolution for all countries to deport all Nigerians from their country peacefully or else when the whole world finally has its cup filled with Nigerians, we will know what the Jews went through for thousands of years in Europe and we will know why.

Politics › Re: Was Hillary Undiplomatic? by nex(m): 11:16pm On Aug 16, 2009
Diplomats have to be trained, they have to be advised, they have to be polished. Hillary Clinton is as much a diplomat as Dora Akunyili.

A diplomat is allowed to say anything, as long as that's the message their country wants to pass on. But when a diplomat starts talking uncontrollably like someone who just drank 5 shots of " paraga", or starts talking like me, you know they've really "fallen off".

When a diplomat speaks, the words, the tone, the posture, the volume, the pitch, the stress, facial expression, mood and even the pupil dilation can be used to send millions of messages that will be interpreted by their counterparts to understand their message.

When an individual representing more than 300 million people can come down to tell us that the governor of the state which the elections came down to was the brother of one of the Presidential candidates and therefore the country has had It's own problem, I believe that person is an "agbero".

If Hillary had done her job right, the people she came to Nigeria to represent won't be complaining.

George Bush ruined the USA's diplomacy. They brought in an era in which anyone in government could say any rubbish and go free. It will take a couple of years for the USA to realise that sanity has come back.

What Hillary came to Africa to do was a complete failure. Dragged her ex-President and his entire family's name in the mud, stirred up tension in the USA shamed the entire citizens of the USA.

This is a woman who claimed Obama was an amateur. Very undiplomatic mission.
Politics › Re: Boko Haram - Education Is Forbidden by nex(m): 8:05pm On Aug 16, 2009
@Beaf

I went through the entire thread all over again and I just had to clarify something that a lot of people misunderstand.

Nuclear Physics is studied in the Islamic Education System. Biology is studied, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Have you never wondered why the first chemists were Al Chemists, we carry out all calculations in Arabic Numerals?

Calculus is from people who studied in Islamic Educational Systems, Al Gebra. How then do you believe that the Islamic Educational System is just studying Sharia?

Studying Sharia in the Islamic Educational System is like studying Law in any Nigerian University. There are several courses besides law aren't there?

Covenant University, Madonna University, Benson Idahosa University, they are all Christian Universities, but are you telling me they only study the Bible? Of course there are some people that will major in theology, but don't tell me all the students of these schools will graduate to become pastors.

I just want you to be clear that a University built on the guidelines of Islam is the same as a University for the Study of The Islamic Legal System.

I'd even thought of setting up The Al Majr University in Maiduguri with the cooperation of the Saudi Government, not because I care so much, but that is what entrepreneurship is and my basic principle in business is "give the people what they want".

A lot of people do not even know what they say. The first University history can remember in Nigeria was in Maiduguri about 1000 years ago when Maiduguri was the capital of Sudan and scholars used to come from all over Africa to school in Maiduguri.

Some of the books that Uthman dan Fodio wrote on Politics, Warfare, Sociology and Law are being re-published and sold by Europeans and Americans on Amazon.com while we are here believing that anything apart from Western Education is Sharia.

The medical doctors that graduate from Universities in Syria and Saudi, is it Sharia they read and start performing operations?

we may never know. Maybe Boko Haram too hires thugs to do their bidding. Did you not notice that while the killings were going on, Yusuf Muhammed and Buji Foi were watching E! Channel in the comfort of their homes.

There's nothing different about it. Terrorists start from oppressed people, but immediately they employ violence, they enjoy the occupation so much that they forget what they were doing it for at the end of the day.

Everybody should get what they deserve. It is the key to keeping everybody happy.

Violence is not the answer. Selfishness, making frivolous demands, pointless actions, hurting the people that play no role in your oppression, it is madness that should not be condoned.

It's such a shame that the human race has chosen to turn a rat race. Bob Marley, no vex.

Jesus Christ himself did not hold as many meeting with his father as Enoch Adejale. In fact, Adejale has had more confrontations and discussions with the Lord than Adam, Jacob, Moses, David and Jesus put together. He must be so favoured. Everyday a prophecy, everynight a revelation. Every minute a miracle, every hour a healing.

Really though, I'm shocked that humans have devolved into playing tricks on each other not to survive, but to live in opulence and private lets.

The kind of tricks pigs can't play on pigs, the kind of deceit which snakes cannot use on snakes, the kind of lies that vultures cannot tell to vultures, the kind of aloofness flies would not show to flies. And humans do this with the name of an Almighty God in their mouths. These people have brought us to a level worse than animals.

I promise you, Enoch Adejale will not see the gates of heaven till every fish of the waters, every bird of the air and every beast of the land abideth in heaven.
Politics › Re: Boko Haram - Education Is Forbidden by nex(m): 5:45pm On Aug 16, 2009
My people post the dumbest things.

My people perish for lack of knowledge.

Niger Delta youths have forgotten what they are fighting for. They've forgotten what they want. They think they want N3 billion for AK 47s, they think they want to blow up Atlas Cove, MEND has made them believe they want to bunker oil, they feel they want to capture white men, my people have turned they focus upside down. They want to fight cult wars and champion electoral violence. THEY DON'T KNOW THAT WHAT THEY WANT IS RESOURCE CONTROL.

The love for violence has abraded the purpose of the Niger Delta. Why, MEND? Why have you deceived them so with wants of 3 bedroom flats and monthly pocket money. I'm very sorry for my people. I pity you too much. This is what violence does. This is what Boko Haram did.

Have I ever said the Federal Government should not give the crude oil back to the owners? Not 30%, not 50%, but 100% through personal companies that will be registered by families of oil producing communities. They should get 100% because it is theirs. All the government can get is 20% in the form of tax.

What is democracy if the people can't have their rights. What I condemn the youths for is violence, killing, N3 billion AK 47 fund, 3 bedroom flats, militant aggrandizement, wanton destruction and demands that ridicule us all. These are the kinds of activities MEND engages in. Compare them to what Boko Haram engages in.

Do you not know that it is everybody's human right to be educated in whatever system they prefer? Do you not know that according to the UNITED NATIONS Child Right Act, it is an abuse on children to impose cultures on them that are at variance with that which theirs?

The Niger Deltans want the wealth that is theirs. The Northern Muslims want the education that is theirs. I support them both. WHAT I DO NOT SUPPORT IS VIOLENCE, MURDER, ARSON, UPRISING, AND PRESENTING THEIR PEOPLE'S DEMANDS IN THE MOST SAVAGE MANNER. What is wrong with you all?
Politics › Re: Problems With Consolidated Banks: Was Soludo A Failure? by nex(m): 5:03pm On Aug 16, 2009
Soludo did well. Though I always criticized him, it was because I knew he could do much better but I guess he was trying to move at a pace which the economy could withstand.

At the time Soludo became Governor of the CBN, the state of Nigerian Banks was horrific. All the commercial banks did back then was round tripping of dollar/Naira to make billions.

They made withdrawal a nightmare, yet now ATMs everywhere.

Stories of people getting loans were fantasies from farfetched kingdoms. Today we see some loans and a lot of leases.

Bank services have become much better. Customer service et al.

In terms of the commercial banks, Soludo did the most he could. My problem with him is mostly his passion for printing and reprinting notes, minting millions of useless coins, trying to redenominate or redecimalize just like Ghana did which has lost them 50% value of everything they own. He didn't make public the cost of printing N20 polymer notes. He wanted to convert all our currency to polymer just before his tenure was up. And why in the name of Osun should any living being want to withdraw ATMs from public buildings?

The banks were far worse before Soludo came so he didn't actually fail in that aspect. The bankers wanted to fail, they planned to fail and they worked towards failure.

The blame goes to the shareholders who do not question what the bank does with their money. I removedug little money I had simply because my elder brother who was a GTB exec couldn't give me a decent enough explanation as to why they changed their brand colours. Besides they wanted me to provide collateral to get a loan less than N150 K meanwhile when I came to invest in shares worth more than N200 K in their bank, they didn't give me any collateral.

Nigerians are too docile for my liking. How can fund a company through purchase of shares and you cannot ask questions. Buying of shares is nothing different from voting how can you invest your money and not be proactive.

Politics › Re: Akunyili Defends Self In 8.2 Billion Naira NTA Contract by nex(m): 10:52am On Aug 16, 2009
You can upgrade from SD to HD. Google it.

Virtually all those Panel TVs you see in Nigerian homes offices and eateries today are HDTVs.

Countries have been upgrading to HDTV since last year. If they complete their upgrade and we're still on SD, all their used televisions that have become useless will be dumped in Nigeria at cheap prices and that will make companies like Haier shut down their television plants. Nigerians will lose their jobs. Once Nigerians have bought excess quantities of those scrap TVs from abroad, it will become virtually impossible to switch to HD.

The last to switch to HD is the one to lose because all their millions of televisions they've collected from other countries as scrap and paid for, they have no other place to sell it to. Where to dump the old TVs, the cost.

We have to move to HD or else very soon we won't be able to watch foreign TV stations.

According to some imbeciles on Nairaland, headed by the deranged, "scare quoting" kosovo, there are actually only 220 + 30 earlier killed and the only crime they committed was trying to exercise their 13th right as enshrined in the UNITED NATIONS UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS.

Ask yourself why the USA has the highest number of conspiracy theorists. Can there be smoke without fire?

One president will say we're going to moon, he'll use that to chop $300 billion. This other president will say Iraq has Weapons of Mass Destructions, he has used that to chop $8 trillion. This one will say we want to give Africa aid, he'll chop $12 billion. One came and said we will develope bio-fuels so that the food you're supposed to eat, you car will eat it. That one chopped $3 billion. Then he came back again and said because your car ate the food, there's food crisis, let's approve $70 billion into my personal account for food security. One said Bird Flu, we're all gonna die. Kill the birds and get compensation. Approve $~ billion (infinity billion dollars OR uncountable billion dollars). They said O, war on Iraq, give Dick Cheney's 419 company, Haliburton $4 billion as miscellaneous, just in case.

Now see where all these lies have landed them. Poverty! And inside the poverty, they are still lying. They will come to Africa and say yes, you need $400 billion to develope, we'll give it to ya. Next morning they're in China begging for pocket money again.

I only pity the hard working USA citizens that go to jail because they can't keep up with payment of taxes for all these misadventures and daylight robbery. Wesley Snipes, take heart ehn. One day your government will find what they are looking for out there.
