Do not underestimate Kebbi state my brother! There is a huge number of Christians and moderate Muslims in that state. Obi will get his 25% in Kebbi. Take this to the bank.

Point of correction: Ahoada west has no element of Ijaw in it. What we have there are Ekpeye (Igboid) and Engenni (Edoid) people. Burna boy is from The Engenni tribe! Thank you.

I am not from Iwhuruohna but i have many friends from there. KELGA is not only our neighbouring LGA that speak the same dialect like me but we used to be one local government before we agitated to have a separate LGA. Our Agitation was necessitated by the believe that the military will combine other Ochie people in the then Owerri LGA to form a single LGA in Rivers or Imo. It never happened and that is why we are suffering politically today. Minority clan in Rivers and minority clan in Imo State. We even have some of our villages seeded to Ngwaland in Abia. Ochie would have been numerous as Ikwerre if we have all our kith and kin in Rivers. So you can see why I hate this politics of divide and rule.It does not help any one.

We have the same problem with some folks in Kalabari Ethnic nationality that try to deny being Ijaw but they all become Ijaw whenever they find themself at the national level. Who did this to us in the Igboid clans?

By the way, It would interest you to know that my grand father used to work at the Ahoada Division at Ali Ekpeye and I know a lot about our Igboid group in Rivers State.

In this coming election, I forsee SIMS Fubara of Opobo beating Tonye Cole of kalabari hands down irrespective of the ongoing subtle strong support for Kalabari candidates from IYC affiliated organs.

In addition to SIMS being from Opobian with his native Ubani (Igbo) language would cast him as igboid when campaigning in Igboid dominated PHALGA, OBALGA and Oyigbo where most of the votes will come from.
He only need to use Wike campaign strategy of injecting huge Igbo language slangs and idioms in campaign trail in Igboid dominated areas. It would also give him huge advantage in Etche, Ogba and KELGA.


Being perceived or regarded as a Diali and competing with an Ijoid opponent gives him huge advantage in ethnically mixed Rivers He could also pander as Ijoid elements in Riverine areas to keep the IYC folks happy.
The Igbo language of Opobo and Grand Bonny has been a huge blessing and will continue to give them an oversize political capital at the expense of other larger riverine clans like Kalabari in the present Rivers state.

As you know, Dakuku Peters, another Opobo son lost the last time because he contested under APC and against a Diali (Wike) from Iwhuruọha. Had it been he contested with a fellow Riverine person from any of the Ijoid clan, he would have won that election.
