Because the fulanis and Tapa guys in Kwara bear yoruba names don't mean they are yorubas. That's the fulani logic/tactics to confuse the conquered aborigines. They did same in sokoto, gwandu, Katsina...to mention a few.
During my university days had these guys from ilorin with classical yoruba names but they told me openly that they're all fulanis.

This piece by pazienza buttresses what we already know! Almost everyone in the old ahoada district identified as Igbo back then. Yes we've got different migration history but deep within us all we know who we are.

Depends on who you ask? Some can be igbophilic, some igbophobic, while some don't just care.
Mind you that before the war, my people were known for their staunch support for the eastern region and Igbos in general. A lot has happened since then. We can still rebuild and recover our collective identity that we've all lost.
