Prepare and maintain spreadsheets to capture invoicing models used to capture various costs. Act as the main contact person with our telecommunication suppliers. My younger brother just came back from abuja where he went to submit an application to The Nigerian civil defence, immigration, fire and prison service board. He claimed to be told by a friend that they are accepting applications (handwritten) from both HND & BSc holders. He went to verify the information at old Federal Secretariat in Area one, only to meet other applicants there submitting their own copies, he quickly joined them in submitting. We dont know when is the closing date neither do we know whether their state offices are receiving applications as well. Whoever has more information should enlighten the house. The MTN Nigeria Foundation Limited by Guarantee (MTNF) was established by MTN Nigeria Communications Limited, in July 2004 to drive MTN Nigeria's Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives aimed at improving the quality oflife in communities across the country. Under the MTNF Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme, the Foundation currently provides financial support to 1,015 Science and Technology students in public universities, polytechnics and colleges of education across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria, and has awarded approximately N500m to date to nearly 2,500 students. The scholarship award is worth N200,000.00 (Two hundred Thousand Naira only) per student for the duration of one academic year and it covers tuition, book allowance and stipend. Following the applications, 1500 students will be shortlisted for the assessment test to be held in 3 centres in the North, East and West of the country. The internships are awarded to persons studying toward a university degree or who have recently received a degree. The purpose of the programme is: To provide interns with the opportunity to gain practical work experiences in line with their studies or interests, and expose them to the work of the Agency and the United Nations as a whole; To benefit the Agency's programmes through the assistance of qualified students specialized in various professional fields. The duration of internships is normally not less than three months and not more than one year. However, a minimum of one month is also accepted. The internship programme is not a means for subsequently obtaining employment at the Agency. However, interns may apply for vacancy notices as external candidates at any time during and following the end of their internship. For interns who do not receive full financial support from an institution, university or other source, a stipend shall be provided to assist basic subsistence costs during the internship period. Candidates will be asked on the application form whether or not they anticipate receiving financial support, in what amount, and whether or not they will be paying rent to a non-family third party during their internship. The Agency provides medical insurance for the duration of each internship, unless an intern provides proof that he/she already has appropriate coverage. Interns are responsible for obtaining the necessary passport, visa or other documents that may be required for entering Austria or any other country where the internship will be performed. In Austria, non-Austrian interns who stay for more than three months will be issued a residency permit from the Austrian Foreign Ministry through the Agency.
