oyatz: Why do you people like introducing tribes into every discussion here?
Most of the importations are done by companies and companies don't have tribal identity.
Major Oil marketing companies like Oando, Conoil, Mobil, A.A Rano, Total ,MRS, Zenon oil/AP take the largest shares of the importers because they import petroleum products, gas oil and lubricants etc. More oil major marketers A-Z petroleum Capital oil Dozzy oil Master energy Tonimas Integrated oil and gas Techno oil Empire energy Ascon oil Concca Global services ltd Pinnacle oil & gas Eterna PLC |

Obamaofusa: Liar! You sent no document.Where is your lie lie document? Send it or open it here so everybody can see your deceit.Everybody knows that the people who control imports in petroleum products are the Yorubas. They have the highest number of petrol stations in Nigeria, mostly situated in Lagos.Wait, are you even disputing this fact? You sound ignorant on those firms. They can be verified. Those companies all have their websites and addresses there and most of them are based in Nigeria while some are abroad.Yorubas have the highest number of indigenous industries both in Nigeria and abroad. Audio industries, that's what you guys said about controlling the hospitality industry, till we decimated you guys even in Lagos your home land, In your home land we are controlling a bigger stack in your economy and have 100% of our economy back home, please who is fooling who? You should be asking yourself how old you are and not me. Yorubas have always imported more than the Igbos but they have not been loud about it like the Igbos who arrogate things to themselves. Yorubas control these businesses and therefore import more than the Igbos. The businesses include....Iron and steel, used vehicles(Tokunbo),Sea foods,Cereals,Petroleum products(Most petrol stations in Lagos are owned by Yorubas then we have a sprinkle of other tribes making it mandatory for Yorubas to control that sector)
Go through this thread..........
https://www.nairaland.com/3918290/yorubas-most-industriousrichest-educated-tribe
and see why Yorubas are the richest people in Nigeria and the way they import more than the Igbos. Yoruba and their jealousy, you people think that because Lagos host the major port then it automatically mean Yoruba import more than any other tribes. Till today 65% - 70% of import in Nigeria ends in the SE east and we control the markets in Lagos, Abuja, PH, The entire South East rubbing shoulders with the hausa's in Kano, Kadina, Ibadan, oshogbo, Akure, Abeokuta, Jos etc Like I always said, let Yoruba's replicate Ala-Aba, Computer Village, Ladipo, Trade Fair in Ibadan, Oshogbo, Abeokuta, Ado-Ekiti, Akure if they claim they have the capacity. For Ndi-Igbo we have bigger ones in our home land, controlled 100% by us alone. |

Why do you think majority of imports are done by Igbos. Most of what the statistics show are done by Yorubas especially petroleum and used vehicles etc.Everybody knows what the Igbos specialise in.. Can you tell Nigerians the companies owned on this list since they are the minor importers of oil and gas |

Politics › Re: [Updated] Satellite Imagery Reveals Nigeria's Population Density by Ngorbungor(m): 4:18pm On Aug 01, 2021 |
gawu1: Borno state is bigger than the whole south east region in time of land mass. So it's not rocket science that the South East has more population density than every other place in Nigeria given its small size and population concentration. Density is measures using the total population of a place divided by the its land mass. If you use population of the south east region to calculate density, for example, of north west region, you will see a spatial population density. However, I challenge you people denying that north is more populated than south to prove your points with scientific indices rather than those usual rantings you inherited from your forefathers. Ok, I got your point, now let use your template, take for instance the United states, that country should be bigger than West Africa in land mass with 350 to 380 Million people, right? But Nigeria is said to be 200 Million and not up the size of Texas, which is a State in US. So my point is Nigeria's population is more than half of United states with the size of West Africa and Nigeria as a country is not up to a State like Texas in land mass. So you got the point the map is trying to make? |

sweetshisha:

Booom!!!
FG would start producing captured ESN members in court to give testimonies of Kanu's terrorism orders, how he recruited them , trained and armed them to fight Nigerian government
Evidence gathered at Ikonso's hideout would be presented to the world, phone logs, chats , emails
For Kenyan Government to detain Kanu for 8 days before his extradition (according to Kanu's Family) Kenya and Interpol have another new case on him, soliciting fire arms, or money laundering to fund terrorism
Ahmed Gulak that was murdered in Imo State, his family and friends, his relatives plus PDP associates (Atiku, Goodluck Jonathan, Kwankwaso) would gather even more witness and evidence to get Kanu ended permanently
Nyemsom Wike would produce the arrested ESN members that bombed his father's church, and show the world where Nnamdi Kanu gave a 100 million bounty for who ever kills and deliver his head
Supreme court Justice Mary Odili from Mbaise Imo State has two axe to grind,
1: Kanu disrupted the peace in her town 2: Kanu disrespected her godson, Nyemsom Wike and Hope Uzodinma

It doesn't matter where the present one is after all no one invents the wheel anymore but can only adapt. Many aspects of our new Airport are replication of what is already done elsewhere. I see so much hatred in the hearts of Ndigbo on themselves. So much insults on slightest issue. Could it be the harshness of Nigeria on the Ndigbo that is causing this self hate. Any way I wish we take it easy with ourselves and learn from each other including learning from and accepting constructive criticism. That stuff is not what is needed in the east, take a look at the new mall in Ebonyi or the ones you see in Dubai not the one we already had. |
