xcellentgraphic:What I love about my Igbo heritage are too numerous to mention..... I can only say Igbo is wisdom Igbo is peace Igbo is hardworking Igbo is succes Igbo are goal getter .... and Igbo Amaka!!! |
Bkayyy:good product don't need too much advert, they are wishing to be like us. can you imagine Benin people want to calm Igbo, ok let us agree that Igbo originated from Benin, my question will be, 1. Why are they not portraying Igbo success, beauty, custom and traditions? am sorry to say this, Benin people are the most ugliest group of people in Africa, example igbinedion, oshomole, obaseki, izu iyamo etc |
Etrusen:bini lion that is being ruled by Ile Ife, oga when you are small you are small, you can never measure up to the great ndi Igbo in all ramifications, who are Benin's ? I beg pack well, you people are inconsequential, you cant even measure up to mbaise, or abriba people in population or wealth, small rats they won calm waitin pass them |
Etrusen:They envy us? Benins just wish they are Igbos, they want to be like us!!! Igbo Amaka |
Natty14:Please stop this nonsense, port operation has started but on a low key, it's said that 50% - 70% of containers entering Nigeria port are transported to the east, so with time and further upgrade to Onitsha Port we will see more activities around the port |
dival247:it is for real, watch the video you will see the Onitsha head bridge |
Take a look at this statement In his statement, the former National Auditor of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) declared that making Nigeria's waterways navigable is key to reducing the pressure on our roads as most of the containers can be moved to their destinations safely by water. "if our waterways are navigable and open, we can go by water, not by road. It is this aspect that drew my attention to the fact that the pressure we have on our road today can very well be avoided. For example, if 1,000 containers are coming from Apapa port and if half or even 70 per cent is going to end in the Southeast- Onitsha, Aba, or what have you — what that means is that 500 or 700 trailers will be on the road" So it means 50% to 70% of imports goes to the East!!! |
okpalaAnambra:for your mind, you think you are making sense, I pity you |
Juliusmalema:Oga, is nothing to you and it will never be to you, but it's a big thing for us and we will continue to see big things happening to us In Jesus Name. what the man said during the commissioning ceremony is, if we have 1000 containers coming into Nigeria, and about 50% to 70% comes to the East and these containers are transported through land (Bad Road) to the east, now if these 50% of the container are shipped directly to Onitsha, what do you think will happen to Anambra state economy and south east in general in terms of tax, job creation etc, and you said it's 6 containers, yes it is, for a start, but the awareness is growing, by the time one to five importers confirm their services to be good, others will follow. we are happy because it's a turning point to better things to come |
obowo69:I concur, they are our brothers, friend, great neighbour and a trusted one for that matter |
Malawian:Noting stops them |
ejanla077:That's the simple truth |
Grgton:The truth is that they have nothing to show, and can't imagine how we are progressing In spite of the little resources at our desposal i.e (at government level), for me I always ask why developmental news from south west except Lagos are hardly seen on this forum or other forums. Something is not right, is either there is nothing happening over there or they have nothing to show |
celeiyke:You guys keep mentioning Warri, why Warri, there is nothing connecting us with Warri, it's either Onne or Ibom Sea Port |
Malawian:Noting stops, but start making use of Warri port first before building another one |
horsepower102:You never see anything, these people are very bad, and you can never see them talk about developments in Osun, Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti or even criticize their governors, or Advertise their state to the general public, but you see them condemning others states, hypocrisy at the highest order |
NGpatriot:See them, anything Igbo always taste bitter in there mouth, very hard to swallow, as if they stop you guys from talking about your own states, better face your own state |
NGpatriot:So you are the intelligent one? I beg worry about your own state, stop taking panadol for our headache |
nick50:If what you said is true, then leave us, let worry about it and not you, I beg worry about your own state, |
SlayerForever:True |
BIGGESThead6:Not even proud to mention your state, what a life some people are living |
Biodun556:That should be our headache not yours, why you dey help us take Panadol for our headache? |
NGpatriot:So so sorry, you might commit suicide for our matter ooo, please calm down!!! |
BIGGESThead6:Oga, tell us your state of origin, please |
porthouse7:Well that's your headache, but for us, we are moving forward be it River Port or Sea Port or Ocean Port or Stream Port thats your headache and worry about it, as for us little drop of water makes an ocean, we will keep pushing untill we get there that's the spirit of an Igbo man and our guiding principle |
wetmenow:No it's Kano Port |
gwafaeziokwu:You are right about partaking in the revenue, and its will be more impactful to the North than Lagos port, taking a good looking at our networking capabilities using Onitsha distribution network which is the only city you can get direct transport to any other cities in Nigeria and also more closer to the North than Lagos. |
horsepower102:I hope they dredged it as soon as possible |
gwafaeziokwu:My brother no bi small thing, trust my fellow Igbo brothers, as soon as these shipments are consistently been confirmed in Onitsha, every body will port immediately, I can see everything turnning around, Everything, turning around, Everything, turning around for our good |
Coldie:You don't get my point, we rather use Onne port than Warri port, you guys are looking for people to patronize your port, do it yourself leave us out of it |

Coldie:For your mind, what stops wsrri indigins to start using it? So you want us to use your port when you people don't have the capacity, please onne port is ok for us |
