I disagree with you. Otti won because of IREV. The Obi Tsunami had little positive impact on Otti because Abians (Obi or no Obi) were tired of 24 years of the worst string of PDP governors. Again Otti won with APGA in 2015 and took 11 of the 24 seats at the state house of assembly but was rigged out unfortunately IREV had not come on board then. If you talk about Obi Tsunami it was only apparent the week of the presidential and federal legislative elections not during the gubernatorial and state house elections when many had become disillusioned following Obi not being declared winner.

I actually schooled in Imo state. Precisely Umuagwo, but I lived in Mgbirichi. Da was back in 2010/2012.... Where I lived and around us were same scenario.
People who cared about UP-Tank are ones da have upstairs or beautiful houses.
But den, u would see people living in old or uncompleted building drilling boreholes. I mean, it's not a thing for just d rich, average people have boreholes too.

And den, most importantly... I was part of drilling crew while schooling, it was my side hustle den. So, am not telling u wot I don't know about. Den, we could drill a borehole for as low as 300k or so.

So chill, wot am talking is wot am conversant with.

I still know d procedure of how we use to run d borehole for people sef.... We dey even run dem street join

MOD: hope my last paragraph isn't misleading.
By street I mean;
Ordinarily while drilling we knew where we've got to using sand sample, and after each pipe has gone in, we brings out sand sample. So, assuming we charged u base on say d water is 180'meters and luckily we got water just around 130 or 140meters, we would duplicate some samples on d ground so it tallied with wot we bargained or quoted... Sometimes, we go with dis equipment used by electricians which we did put in d ground to tell the water level, but den, it was just efizzy! E no dey tell anything, we just wanna appear professionals.

But den, our service was top-notch! We never disappointed.

I'm deeply heartbroken as a human but am I surprised? No, never! I have nothing against any religion, but this is why I laugh at people who were expecting Nigerian Moslems to condemn the killing of Miss Deborah.

Even when my Moslem friend brought up the issue, I clearly told him I hate talking about religion. According to him, she insulted a prophet and even though he doesn't support her killing; "if she did that in Saudi Arabia, they'd use a machine to grind her to death."

This is what religion is capable of, however despite how "evil" we paint Christianity, I will always prefer Christianity over a lot of these religions out there...
