Unittyy: Your own tribalism is without common sense. So Tinubu that performed excellently well in Lagos should not be allowed to lead Nigeria. But a third class graduate that failed woefully as Anambra governor is the Messiah that will transform Nigeria overnight, just because he's Igbo and younger. Dey play... Name one hospital he built in Lagos. At least I was a student in Lagos then. Or could u just name one bridge he built when he was governor? Say what u know? Don't say things u don't know. |

Romance › Re: Marriage Contribution Wahala by Nice2023(m): 1:53pm On Sep 06, 2023 |
Badfinga: Marriage is a beautiful thing, especially when you are blessed with an understanding partner. Intending couples, especially the male partner go extra mile to ensure they have a smooth wedding by devising all possible means to gather money for the marriage ceremony. For the reason above, many men and even some women create groups(WhatsApp, Telegram etc.) to bring friends in quote together for the purpose of fundraising which is disguised under the name Best men/men in suit. In one of those instances, out of curiosity I decided to count the number of participants in the group(both male and female), and I saw like 150 people. When I did calculation with the amount everyone was to pay, the result shocked me. Literally, we are the ones to shoulder the larger percentage of the whole thing. So, I ask myself this question. Why do people inconvenience others during marriage preparation when they know that they are not really ready for the financial implications that comes with marriage preparation? That is usually seen among people who depend on others for everything. |

ecolime: Votes of Igbos alone right?
If a re-run were to be conducted between Tinubu and Obi today, Obi will win only SE and lose every other region badly despite the hardships in the land.
Hard core obidients have turned everyone to enemies. They made many people especially Yorubas who voted for PO regret that decision.
I'm sure the likes of Falz and Mr Macaroni are regretting their decisions to support the obidient movement with the tribal bashings coming from the Igbos these days.
You curse and hate on a tribe that gave your son over 40% of their votes because Tinubu is from their region?
As for core Notherners- Fulani & Hausa, I am sure you already know their Anti-Igbo sentiments. They would vote for a Ghanian or Kenyan as President over an Igbo man.
Pre-Presidential elections, I no see any Nairalander wey carry Obi matter for head reach me. I was everywhere. It was after the election my eyes opened. For me and many other Non-Igbos, it was about voting who we felt was the best at that point while for you guys, it was more of a tribal contest.
You guys need to learn to build alliances, relationship is key in anything man does. Trust me Alliance in poverty u mean? |

Politics › For Those Still Following Tribal Politics...this Picture Explains It Better. by Nice2023(op): 8:40pm On Sep 05, 2023 |
There was a recent statement credited to former Governor of Ekiti state who acknowledged that the occupy Nigeria in 2012 was a hoax and political in nature.
Which means,President Jonathan was right in asking for fuel subsidy removal and today, they have started confessing for luring many into believing that Jonathan was wrong.
Aside this, many here still see things from ethno religious perspectives which the picture below would better explain. Open ur eyes, leave tribal politics alone and focus on the man that means well for your live and the lives of ur children. These sort of politicians like Fayemi don't mean well for u and ur generation to come.
It is a pity!

If you have 1 million people poor among 10 million people, the poverty rate is 10%
If you have 1 million people poor among 20 million oeople, the poverty rate is 5%
What you posted isn’t rate but just figures. The least poverty rate still remains southwest Illiterate talking, have u ever read NBS statistics...then u will know that ur education is a complete waste. No wonder many of u are wretched and can only see things from a tribal perspective. |
