Yonce:I'll advise that you retrace your steps into the bounds of your commonsense. I've never insulted anyone here so don't start with me. There was a time people would say cr7 would star at any club in Europe. Can the same thing be said right now that his legs are failing him. At the moment, he struggles to live up to the redoubtable reputation he once had. Getting five goals against Bayern ( two being offsides ), won't change this fact. |
Chelseafan1:Yh. Ronaldo is overated. Without him in Madrid this season, they would still be topping the league. His goal are of little importance. Whereas, without messi, barca would be languishing in fourth. Now, take Marcelo away from Madrid and watch how they suffer. Cr7 always leaves the ball for him to run on the wings. Why? Because on his own, he is unable to beat one single player for pace. I watch a lot of la liga matches so I know this very well. |
Chelseafan1:I get u. Individual goals are important. They win games But ask any honest Madrid fan around u who their best player is this season and they would tell you its marcelo. That, not minding the stats telling you that ronaldo is their highest goalscorer, is the gospel truth. But when its time to award accolades, commercial glossing of cr7 becomes the order of the day. However, real football lovers know better. |
Chelseafan1:Exactly my worry too. The guy can play nothing for a whole 80 minutes only to pop up somewhere and score silly goals created by defensive mistakes. Imagine how boateng kept helping him over both legs. He's only the world's best poacher. The rest is all hype and commercial lifting. Nothing else |
Yonce:Hehehe. Barca is coming back stronger next season. Madrid better watch their backs |
Hahahaha. They were praying for Monaco. Instead they got their nemesis. ![]() |
Lordemperoris100:I see juventus reaching the final and lifting the cup. Madrid is going trophyless too. Just watch and see. |
Krasid:That doesn't make any sense even at that. At his age, messi can still make two more world cups and copa Americas. In fact, messi has more chances to lift an international trophy before he retires than cr7 has to win one more balloon d'or. That guy is just riding his luck. France could have won the euro easily. |
SeekinAttention:No offense sir, but this is the dumbest thing I have read on this forum in a long while ![]() |
This thread is senseless and its position in the FP is lacking any merits. Barca remains the greatest club in the last decade and UCL is still going to take place next season so why this trash ![]() |
Seriously, Enrique needs to shut up and get back to the drawing board. How can he say we need to "score five goals" when we could not even score one let alone three to even the tie. We can't lose El clasico o Abeg. Messi and Suarez have to turn up! |
senorova:Yesterday I thought I was going to watch a proper champions league match but I was disappointed. It looks as if it is now referees who decide matches and not the players. Just imagine yesternite's crap! I had to leave early in disgust. Also, apart from asensio's goal, the goals scored were trash. But that sums up football today -- win by any means necessary including offsides, wrong use of cards and all. Just sad.... ![]() |
SirWere:Haba! Small time we will hear another person has taken a dive into Lagos lagoon. This is savagery! |
Alphamale2017:So what is your point now? That different people all over the nation who have never been linked together suddenly ganged up against the apostle? I am not condemning anybody yet but we need explanations. He claimed that he was being blackmailed but has still to give details of the supposed blackmail. How does he explain the connection between his car and daniella okeke. And not just in any place of coincidence but in her very own compound. |
I must say that I have learnt a lot of things from this scandal and that is: never joke with Nigerians when it comes to religious leaders. Some are willing to be trampled upon, sold, beaten and scarred for the sake of their pastors, bishops, imams etc. No matter how they try to cover or water it down, I have little doubt that the relationship between daniella and the apostle is a little more than a cordial one. More explanation has to be done to convince me otherwise. |
Themandator:Pls for the sake of easing your doubts, go and check the thread where that nairalander - IP something discovered this. Not only did she pose with the car, but she was even looking for a driver to drive her around on instagram. The same Mercedes Benz o not another one. So it appears that daniella had been cruising round town with a car bought in apostle Suleiman's name. This could be what she referred to as blessings. |
fortunejum:I would have agreed with you but for the fact that she posted the picture herself last year December. Daniella is not known for photoshopping skills so the picture looks genuine. |
For now, I do not even want to believe what Stephanie otobo is saying. Her story, apart from the snapchat photo she presented is lacking concrete evidence. However, I am more concerned with what his Mercedes Benz car is doing in daniela okeke's compound. How can you explain to your members sir, that the fact that a car registered in your name and seen in the possession of a sultry actress is but a mere coincidence. We are waiting for your response to this Sir. |
Chanchit:U're smart! Cr7 does not fit the real madrid game anymore. He's too slow and weak. Can hardly take the ball on a run by the wing. With BBC I am confident they are going to end this season trophyless. Quote me anywhere, Madrid are going to become a very deadly team when they sell cr7 and benzema. whereas, anyteam that meets us now would pity themselves. MSN toh sure ![]() |
bykebyke:Yet some haters decided to blame the referee. PSG clearly shot themselves in the foot. Most folks were surprised at my optimism yesterday. My brutha even put money against barca qualifying and went to sleep. The reason why barca were bound to qualify was this: PSG did not have an idea of what to play in the second leg. They assumed they had done all they had to do in paris; that this game was only a formality. Just imagine that they came with the mindset of winning the match ? They would've scored at least two goals. They were hesitant at times. Even in defence. Just take a look at the first two goals. Ball-watching became their bane. Messi did not also dissapoint tonight. Allowing neymar to take the lead row was very good of him. This selflessness is what keeps endearing many to him - his fans and haters inclusive. |
Tonight, just as I envisaged we redefined the word "impossible" in the world of football. Scoring 4 goals was no biggie for me . But 6? May God bless neymar. I see a future ballon d or winner |
dmcdad:Actually, going by the turn of events, there is a clear difference between pessimism and realism. Don't u think ![]() |
10d0ve:Who is going AWOL now ![]() |
dmcdad:A true fan never doubts his club. Are u? |
I said we would make history. Few believed. Some said I would go 'AWOL' . I never got deterred. There is no club like Barcelona. None was and none will ever be. Because we are mes que in club. Viva barca! Viva messi Viva neymar The party is on tonight |
Looks like my prediction is slowly turning out good. Barca 5 PSG 0 (AET) |
Oh yes! One down, four to go! |
LoRdCaT:30 mins to kick off. My hrt is beating fast but I remain confident. Messi might turn up tonight. |
LoRdCaT:Keep calm and watch the cules make history tonight. |
10d0ve:Not at all. I see myself partying through the night ![]() |
bykebyke:I'm so fired up for this match! Today we send shockwaves throughout Europe Tonight we stun the world! BLAUGRANA! |
On this historic night, we stand tall, we stand strong. We remind the world why we are called 'more than a club'. We remind the world what it means to have the greatest ever footballer in your squad. We do it for the history books, for the fans, for generations yet unborn. We re-define the meaning of the word; "impossible" . Viva barca! Barcelona 5 - 0 PSG (AET) Playing usher ft young thug - no limit. |
