Anything can still happen. Lionel Messi (the player that is not from this planet) can still score a hatrick.

Two goals at the camp nou.

An absolute rocket that flies out of camp nou and lands in the back of courtois's net equalizing for Villarreal. shocked Let's keep the hope alive folks..

When there is life, there is hope and one thing that is necessary in football is "Time"

Let me explain.
Today's match and the last match of the season will be two of the most interesting matches this season.

Hearts will be broken, the unexpected will happen, i won't talk too much but i see lots of surprise results and one thing i am sure of Is that Villarreal and Granada will die before they lose or even draw with Madrid because they have all to play for.

Barcelona can still come at as the champions of Spain.

Nothing is life is impossible.

GOD bless the Catalan Giants.
Granada that has died already. Are you under an influence? huh

This spero guy Sha.

You think Zidane is an idiot right?

Drop 5 points out of 6 after winning 9 consecutive matches.

I understand the urge to keep believing your team has a chance. But the probability of Madrid losing this league is the same one as Regina Daniels leaving her husband and returning to Soma. E no go ever happen. cheesy

There's a reason why Zidane made the choice to leave out the likes of Hazard, Bale and James going into the last 6 matches.

You see the likes of Asensio, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Mendy and Valverde. Those lads are going to die before they give this title to Barca. Just accept that your team is going trophy less this season. It's not such a hard pill to swallow now. grin cheesy

Yes bro. And even if Madrid win on thursday, Barca might still have a chance if the league decides to review the matches. They might just find Madrid guilty of fielding an ineligible player or getting an unjustified penalty. Who knows? 3 points might be deducted and then Madrid will draw vs Leganes and Barca will be champions.

Nothing is impossible in football.
#Nevergiveup.

have you forgotten so easily that barca was awarded 19 penalties in laliga in 2015/2016 season same season you guys collected treble and that makes it the highest penalty a club will ever receive in a season in the history of laliga, and moreover Madrid has not yet played half of that and you guys are wailing. cheesy
Barcelona has this sick entitlement mentality when it comes to refereeing decisions. It didn't just start today. They believe no other club deserves double figures in penalty awards. Their President, Fans and Players (especially Pique) are all sick people.

Penalties are not the only contentious decisions. There are Penalties not blown against Madrid, there are marginal offside decisions called in Madrid favor, there are handball goals interpreted as shoulders in favor of Madrid but interpreted differently for other teams. These are some of the issues.

The penchant for their fullbacks to go to the ground even at a minimal contact because they already know the ref and var will resolve decisions in their favor.

Everything is like a rehearsed script. "Ensure you go to the ground once in side the area. Then leave the rest for us". "Ensure you put the ball at the back of the net at all cost. Then leave the rest for us to legitimise it ".
At least there was clear contact from the player. 3 years ago, one of your players fell after being tripped by a ghost. He stood up, claimed a penalty and the ref (Barca's assistant) instantly gave it.

The internet never forgets wink

what we need now is a goal scoring right winger and we are good to go.

Everyone in football knows this.

UEFALona days was very terrible for other football fans.

Records says it self, that Barca would be 2 UCL less without ojoro.

Cheating that has helped Barca in a single season before is times 3 of what has helped Madrid this season.

I know majority of Barca fans would disagree with me but deep down everyone knows it.

Barca is the most cheating club in Europe followed closely by Man Utd.
I don't hate Barca for anything other than cheating. Believe me, the day they stop cheating they're gonna have my respect at least, if not my admiration. Their fans are just like their players. Bunch of annoying deceptive people.

There was a day I was watching a Barca match - the last day of the 2016/2017 La Liga season. I think Barca was playing Elche or so. Jordi Alba ran into the box, kicked the turf and fell on his own. Nobody touched this guy but he stood up angrily at the closest defender to him and that's how the referee awarded a penalty.

In La liga, the rule is: never touch a Barca player in the box. Once you do, it's a penalty. It's as though these guys have separate training sessions on how best to dive once they receive as much as a touch in the opponents box (apart from Messi of course).

Club of idiots!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by nickvanilla(m): 10:58am On Jul 11, 2020
The bottom line is VAR or referees won't be the reason why Madrid won and Barca surrendered the League crown.

If Barca avoided draws against Celta and Sevilla, and didn't lose to Madrid earlier, you guys would still be in the driving seat. Your team slipped up and a resurgent Madrid side capitalized on it. Simple!

Quit grasping at straws.

Nobody is focussing solely on penalties.

Almost all the games Madrid have played after corona have had VAR taking decisions for Madrid and the same VAR overlooking other teams.

Valencia, Sociedad, Bilbao. It goes on an on.

Just the way you "complained" and "moaned" in the past; allow others do same.

Let it just be on record that VAR gave Real the title in 2020 as refs gave Barca the title in 2016 according to you.
No qualms.

You guys should not want to have your cake and eat it.

You want to enjoy your title and still have people say Madrid won a flawless title??

Hello No.. grin
I didn't complain, helloooo!

We lost the title that season because Rafa Benitez didn't get his stuff right. With zidane there is a lot of difference. wink

That's the point.

Without the help of VAR, you would see that there's a little ineptitude in every team.
You guys should stop being pathetic. Accept that your team has been largely incompetent this season and quit wailing over VAR or the Referrees.

In La Liga 2015/2016 your team was awarded over 17 penalties and I didn't see you guys complaining.

Here is the proof below.

Nobody really expected them to drop any points against lowly Alavez right?

Just like I do not expect us to further drop points from our remaining fixtures.

The thing is that there have been a couple of difficult fixtures for both sides post-corona break.

The difference between us and them is that VAR allowed us to drop points in our tough games but did not approve them to drop points in theirs; like Valencia, like Bilbao, like Sociedad, like Getafe.
When your team is very inept, you resort to blaming VAR. grin

I see lots of quotes from Barcelona fans In particular and it seems they have lost hope already but hear me "dear cules" Alaves is to do the Lord's work today.

As a thoughtful and deep thinking match analysis, i know that Alaves will do the Lord's work today.

Let me explain.
They have lost their last four matches which resulted in the sacking of their coach. A new care taker coach is to manage the team untill the end of the season, which in other words, he is now auditioning for the position as the main coach.

Do you think he will lose his first match as a coach?

Another aspect of it is that there will be no Ramos, no cavajal and "likely" no hazard.

Let me see how Madrid will win today.

Today's game might end one goals to zero in favour of Alaves or it could end in a draw.

But if there is to be a goal galore, Alaves will disgrace Madrid.
Oga Octopus, how market? angry

Interesting. But no club really deserves to field these two together. Having one GOAT alone is enough injustice let alone having two.

Just look at what Cr7 singlehandedly did to a whole Atletico Madrid last year.

2020 champions plus a balant red card for Sergio Ramos but it's ok
1) Garcia was offside.

2) It was an off-ball unintentional collision with no malice in it.

3) Neither Ramos nor Garcia were contending for the ball.

But look at this picture below. This was immediately preceded by an attempt from Messi to win the ball. As usual, and under instruction from Tebas, VAR didn't even see it as worthy of a review. According to Tebas, Messi is an icon of Spanish Football and all efforts must be made to protect him.
