Is there Agege bread there? |
I got married when I was earning 40,000 Naira and had a child in that situation and had a house maid, yet we were living pretty well by the Grace of Almighty God. I moved in from a one room self contained to a fine One bedroom flat. I live in Kubwa, Abuja. We have never had a better yesterday with my current 50k and occasional helping hand from my wife. To God alone be all the glory |
This is troubling me, but my wife sees nothing wrong with my 10 months old baby waking up on her own as early as 5.00AM? She was not like that before until recently, but seems she has made it a routine now, because that's the exact time her mum wakes up to prepare for work. Is it bad to the baby's health for her to wake up as early as that time? |
Nothing is wrong it. Atleast he is better than a son of a bitch. |
If ths is true, what is PDP teaching Nigerian youths? |
HEAD of the Presidential and general elections slated for March 28 and April 11, the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP yesterday urged the All Progressives Congress, APC to acknowledge their electoral inferiority and surrender to the will of the people, rather than plunge the country into chaos. The PDP accused the opposition of pursuing personal agenda and not that of the general interest of the Nigeria and Nigerians. In a statement signed yesterday by PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, the party said that the APC which has been confronted with the reality of failure in the 2015 general elections, has intensified what the PDP termed, the APC’s frenzied deployment of false alarms aimed at throwing the polity into chaos and wreck the electoral process. Metuh said, “Our advice to the APC is that rather than plunge our dear nation into chaos in the pursuit of their selfish interests, they should be humble enough to face reality, acknowledge their electoral inferiority to the PDP and surrender to the will of the Nigerian people. “Having been exposed in its hypocrisy, lies and empty promises, the APC in obvious frustration is now engaged in dangerous mind game using wild allegations in a bid to cause panic, balkanize the nation and create the way for a reign of anarchy in the country. “For the APC, it has become a matter of ‘if we can’t have it, then let’s destroy it’. In the last couple of weeks, this opposition party and its leaders have engaged in dishing out dangerous false alarms in a bid to discredit the electoral process, heighten tension, create fear in the minds of the people and push the polity to the brinks. “For instance, how else would one explain the false alarm by the leader of the opposition, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Thursday, March 12, 2015 alleging that there were plots to assassinate him, a phantom claim which was followed on Sunday, March 15 by the APC in a statement that there were plans to kill their Presidential flagbearer, General Muhammadu Buhari. “Also, on the same March 15, the APC in a yet another statement falsely claimed that the Federal Government paid N9 billion to ethnic militias to foment trouble, before, during and after the general elections. This was immediately followed by a release on Monday, March 16, in which the opposition, in their unrelenting effort to further discredit the process, alleged that the Federal Government has hired an Israeli expert, Gyora Berger to sabotage card readers on election day. “In the same vein, on March 4, 2015, the APC released a false alarm claiming that there were plots by the Federal Government to frame its leaders and sensitive INEC officials and manipulate the electoral process. This is in addition to another statement on March 9 in which it alleged of plots to harass its financiers and cripple its operations ahead of elections. “We are aware that the APC has lined up many of such false allegations and nuisance alarms, which would be methodologically released to the public to swell the tension as the elections draw nearer. “APC’s history of lies has become legendary. Nigerians may recall that this party in their penchant for deceit had in June 2014 alleged that a plane carrying Kano state Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso to attend a rally in Ekiti to support Governor Kayode Fayemi’s re-election bid was denied landing permission in Akure, only for Kwankwaso’s Director of Press Affairs, Baba Dantiye to announce that his boss was at another event in Kano and had no plans to travel to Ekiti state. “It is indeed clear that the APC has no positive agenda for Nigeria but on a mission to grab power at all cost, failing which it has perfected plots to unleash mayhem and destabilize the nation. “We therefore alert the entire nation, especially security agencies, electoral officials and our members to be vigilant as these allegations could indeed be a subterfuge by the APC to cover a grand plot to unbridle violence on innocent citizens.” The PDP also charged its members to remain focused on the campaigns and not allow themselves to be distracted, especially as it claimed to be enjoying the support and confidence of majority of Nigerians. The PDP restated its commitment to issue driven campaign leveraging on the enviable records of achievements of the standard bearer, President Goodluck Jonathan for which Nigerians are determined to give him a deserving second chance, while berating the APC for dwelling on lies and insults without articulating any positive programme for Nigerians. Please, I really what to know when an employer tells an employee already earmarked for transfer out of the head-office to a branch that "You cannot leave, you are too important to your department". It could be recalled that my wife has been earmarked severally for transfer out of the head office to either a new branch or an existing branch both closer to our residence and with less assignments compared to the head office. On each occasion that she is meant for transfer, flimsy stories come up, until this present one when the Manager of her Department told her that the MD does not want her to leave because she is too important to the Department. Although my wife is not too worried over these developments, but she has been suggesting that some thing is wrong somewhere, considering the fact that other staff are transferred as at and when the need arises. My wife is a nursing mother with 10months old baby and would really have wanted a place closer to our home and where she could leave and get home without much stress. Does that comment - "You cannot leave, you are too important to your department", a commendation or something else? We don't seem to understand it. Please, good analyst, pls diagnose and let me know. |
sosanova:So, you are advocating that everyone should resort to violence. Aren't Amaechi the freedom to talk anymore? It could be you tomorrow, take it |

Bros, my sister has a friend who is ready to invite and sponsor her visit to U.K, but my sister lacks the relevant documents like sufficient fund, property deed or shares. Now i think I can make two applications - my application along with her own, stating that she is traveling with me to the U.K.. I want to use my personal company's documents to make the application. Though am not traveling, but just to make sure she has the visa. Please, will it scale through or what do you think should be the best way out? Please, need your advice |
justwise:Thanks. What of if i apply along with her own application, using my documents, stating that she is traveling with me on invitation from our U.K friend/family member? Can it scale through? I don't intend to travel, but just to make sure she gets the Visa |
Redoil:You guys have been talking about Tinubu, as if Tinubu has become a God at which mention, PDP shivers and quivers. There are more evil cabal in PDP, for instance, the convicted cabal, led by Olabode George and DSP Alameseghyia; oil subsidy cabal led by Infeanyi Uba of TAN, the every government in power cabal, led Tony Anenih, who have been feeding on the nation since 1983 and remains the boss of Nigerian Ports Authority; the electricity cabal who have compulsorily tasked every household in Nigeria to the tune of 750 naira as fixed charge on powere, whether there is light or not; there the NNPC cabal; the family cabal, led by Patience Jonathan; the Ijaw cabal led by Edwin Clark; the religious cabal led by pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, etc. With all these and many more, Tinubu is like a saint |
steppin:If men of Giod are completely sidelined in politics, we would have allowed certain satanic forces to fester and take strong hold of our body politics. We want men of God to put these forces where they belong. You can't kill Spirit! |
Anything built on deceit and money stolen from the people will surely not last long! Am not surprised |
Mattpopson101:anything happening to PDP or its paid agents is blamed on APC. Haba! Even if Doyin Okupe or FFK is biten by an ant, it is APC. Wahala dey o! |
steppin:Bros, where is Nnamani today? That he cursed him did not mean he would die. Take a look at his political career after then, even as a Senator. You don't mock God's anointed and go free |
OREMUSSANCTUS:The power plants that Obasanjo spent these monies on are the same power plants that the Yar'adua/Jonathan Administration reviewed with outrageous increase in the contract valuations and many of them are being commissioned by Jonathan now. This Government has not started and finished any power project, yet excess crude money has been depleted and we keep borowing from External creditors just to build 'ghost' power plants. |
How come majority of Nigerians are not feeling the impact? |
More of them to follow |

I can remember that as a student, I contributed 50 Naira to make sure AIT survives, now it is being used by politicians against percieved political enemies of Dokpesi's party, PDP. |
We need more of the videos. All I know is that Tinubu may not be a saint, but he is better than these PDP thieves. Imagine a convicted thief - Olabode George, calling someone corrupt! |
We need more of the videos. That will not make me vote for PDP. All I know is that Tinubu may not be a saint, but he is better than these PDP thieves. Imagine a convicted thief - Olabode George, calling someone corrupt! |
okosodo:You are a bad analyst! A striker with the 3rd or 4th highest goals record for the National team, a flop? Check yourself |

lomomike:No, it was not |
In my school, I have witnessed several instances where some big and new generational banks came in search of Students who just graduated with 2.1 in courses like Religious Studies and Islamic Studies, ahead of Accounting and Banking and Finance, reason being that they will have better character, attitude and the tendency to commit financial crimes is slim among such graduates. Every year these banks come applying for such graduates. They get them, give them brief trainig and assign specific roles to them. Serious! |
Some of you guys are just saying Abuja, Abuja. What index do you base your choice of Abuja? For your information, that Abuja is the seat of the Federal Government does not make it the best city to live in. The only liveable places in Abuja are the City center, Maitama, Asokoro, Wuse, Garki, places like Gwarinpa and the highrbow estates around the City center, but these places are inhabited by a few elites, politicians and guys with deep pockets, but majority of Abuja residents live in satellite towns like Kubwa, Gwagwalada, Nyanya, Bwari, Zuba, etc. You need to go to these towns and see for your self. Are there good roads in these towns? No; are there pipeborne water? No; is there constant power supply? No. Do you know the cost of rent and foodstuff? No; I will go on and forth to tell you that Abuja is not what you think it it. |
