I feel sad for this country. I just filled my 12.5kg gas cylinder @ 4,500 naira( it used to be 3500 naira as at October, 2016) in a gas station at Kubwa, Abuja. Kerosene is not even an option cos it sells for 350-400 naira per a bottle of beer.

The NNPC has approved a total of 39 firms to lift Nigerian crude oil from the year 2017 all through to 2018.

On the list are 18 Nigerian Coys, 11 International Traders, 5 foreign refineries, 3 NOCs and 2 NNPC trading arms.

In as much as the threat of suicide may just be a means of manipulation and control, its still very real.
She needs to go to a psychiatric hospital

Even though its not really ya concern, but tell the husband that the next time she does that, he and you people his neighbors should cajole her to drop the knife and as soon as she does that she should be bundled off by fire by force to Yaba psychiatric hospital.
Her protests shouldn't be listened to, and she should be taken there for attempting to kill herself.
It may really be a mental disorder/cry for help.
Let her see a specialist because the day she makes good her threat, people will say it's her husband that killed her. Police will not let him off lightly.
However, if there's a previous documentation of attempted suicide or threat of suicide in a government hospital, that may just help his case with the police.
