Chief Anthony Anenih has been instrumental to the making of Nigerian presidents, and governors. Recently, he launched his memoir titled My Life and Nigerian Politics in Abuja. For me, it was a blessing to Nigeria, both of which have benefitted through my service to the nation, primarily as an educated person. A village farmer in this community would certainly not have been where I am today and would possibly not have made the same impact.”


Anenih was instrumental to the making of about four presidents: NPN’s Shehu Shagari; SDP’s MKO Abiola; PDP’s Olusegun Obasanjo; and governors of old Bendel, and Edo States: NPN’s Samuel Ogbemudia; PDP’s Lucky Igbinedion. On his legacy, Anenih says, “I can rightly, therefore, claim that in Nigerian politics, I have largely been a kingmaker, not the king, my leadership roles in the various political parties notwithstanding. I have been an organizer, an energizer, a mobiliser, a motivator, a schemer, a strategist, a planner and, quite often, a provider."[b][/b] .

In mid 2016, I applied for the Federal Government initiated N-Power Corps programme, took the online assessment test and was listed as one of the successful candidates. Below is a snapshot of my selection success.

Next we were directed on the next steps through a PDF e-book on the N-Power portal which I read and adhered to. So I updated my details as required and have since been checking my dashboard on a daily basis for updates on deployment as instructed.

I kept checking everyday only for someone to tell me a few days ago that delta state was done with the physical verification process of which I was not aware about. I quickly rushed to the LGA only to confirm the aforementioned.

My good people this is unfair. I've been jobless since I finished service in 2015 and I was really hoping on this. I've been crying since I heard this. I don’t want to miss the opportunity. We were told to check our dashboard for information which I did diligently every single day and yet no information came as can be seen from my dashboard screenshot below. What was my crime? Is it a crime to want to serve my country? I'm hoping that something can still be done. I am calling on well meaning Nigerians to assist in getting me verified or reaching out to the N-Power authorities.

Looking for a really fast and reliable 4G mobile network to switch to. (it has to be a mobile network like MTN, Aitel, Glo or Etisalat cos I want a sim I can use on my 4G phone, not a modem).

The most common/popular answer people (mostly men)give to this question is "so that she doesn't look cheap" but the real reason is deeper than that and it's not about not being cheap.

In most, if not all cases, it's women that determines whether sexxx takes place or not. It's not only in humans but living things generally, it's the females that decide. Let's look at practical examples.
