Music/Radio / Re: I Just Recorded A Song With My Life Savings, Am So Depressed Right Now. by Nicoddemus(m): 5:33pm On Jan 28, 2021
Iamdbull:
I decided to open a new account to post this, as I am posting this am holding tears back because am inside a bus from Lagos back to my base in Ogun state.

The last thing I want in my life is to be a public figure because am a strong introvert and I hardly go out, I just want to be left alone.

Now during this festive period I travelled to my home state and on getting home, everyone was just talking about my old song and they were disturbing me to freestyle for them.

Deep down this started making me feel like am not following my purpose in life, I started having this feeling that on my dying bed I will live to regret that I didnt following my music career and thinking about the number of people my music could have put smile on their faces. I will never forgive myself, because what is life when you cant use your talent to be of service to humanity.

When I see younger artiste like Omah lay, Bella schmurda, etc I start feeling jealous and envious and the last thing I want is to be envious of another man's success.

Now even though everywhere was a lively mood and everywhere bubbling in the studio. On going home I started becoming depressed looking at the amount of money I spent on recording ( I really wanted the best so I decided to work with an expensive professional sound engineer that worked on Wizkid made in lagos album.

I can't tell anybody about what I did because I will be mocked at home for spending such an amount on my useless music career(as they will say at home). Tears is beginning to roll down my eyes as I write this but fortunately everywhere is dark.

I am panicking and feeling the song will be wack when it comes out and am a good for nothing person. I can't hold back tears in the bus.

Below is a picture of when I was invited by glo to come and perform but I bleeped it up because I was too shy to perform well in front of the crowd, Tuface, D'banj, don jazzy, Wizkid were all present

The reason why am writing this here is because nairaland is my only home. it's my only family. I love you all

Hmm let me not even talk lipsrsealed

Family / Re: Three Experiences That Make Me Think I'm Married To The Wrong Person by Nicoddemus(m): 10:18am On Jan 22, 2021
DEmejioba1:
I got married in 2018,since then I have been battling with some unimaginable experiences with my wife even when I thought I married to a religious lady.

To cut the story short,

Prior to our marriage, things was not so good enough for me but because of age consideration of both of us we decided to wed with the help of our families.

The first thing that happened which caught me thinking afterward was that during our make up to wedding,my wife insisted that she's receiving 50k dowry which she knew I wouldn't be able to get it just shortly before the wedding. I told her that there is no way I could afford it then that she should reduce it may be to 20k, she said I should not worry that things will be sorted out. A day to the wedding she told me that when it's segment for dowry collection that she would pronounce that she had collected it. I said no problem. Since then I have not been able to pay it because she wants full cash. Now, any slide misunderstanding she refers to it.

Secondly, immediately after the marriage,I was left with 60k which I thought we would manage to get a room and a parlour apartment for a start, just to do according to my pocket in my present rent house. But my wife insisted that we should let 2 bedroom flat at 100k but knowing fully that my source of income would not maintain it couple with other obligations that I would be discharging. She said, she would lend me 40k.
Thank God I was able to pay her the money. But still thinking over wasteful of almost 50k,while 150k can secure a land for bulding house in my area.

Thirdly, few months after our marriage. We were having misunderstanding and I carelessly said if the marriage can not work it better we go our separate ways, my wife holds on this statement and continue saying that she just need me to say it twice more and the marriage is over.

But I used to think over all these with other ones that I cant write, then, I ask myself if truly she loves me or may be am with wrong person.

What is your thought about this?

Hmm guy with the kind of small small money you're mentioning eh you should not had even thought of marriage. Infact you should be quating with your parents for now so that you can grow and make a little money before you start thinking of marriage

I know an alternative that offers better freedom than your method. I mean, you don't need to give a certain % or to be generous (but you surely can if you want to) with the method i know. I got interested in your's because i was thinking that maybe it can offer more monetary success than the method i know. So please can you tell me approximately how much you earn monthly so i know if your method is worth trying.

You can reply with the following guideline:
Reply "1" if it is up to 300k but less than 499k
Reply "2" if it is up to 500k but less than 699k
Reply "3" if it is up to 700k but less than 899k
Reply "4" if it is up to 900k but less than 1M
Reply "5" if it is 1M and above
Reply "0" if the amount is not available in the options given

Please be kind enough to reply honestly

You don't have to go into details, tell me the name of your own alternative method then I will give you my answer

Please expanciate on the bolded.

A man might be failing in life until he goes to do rituals, during the process the priest tells him the rules to keep for the ritual to be effective. As long as he lives in those rules he will begin to prosper. He doesn't have to work harder or to change business, from the one he's already doing he grows and multiplies to the amazement of others. This is to tell you there is a spiritual dimension to life, there are forces that controls things- negative and positive forces. God is the origin of all powers, just as devil demands sacrifice from you, rules and regulations for you to keep for him to prosper you so does God. The problem most people have when they relate with God is to take him casual, never keeping to his rules on prosperity. God is a deity, failure to keep to the rules brings about failure in business success. Some of the rules are:

1) God will be sorted and he has to approve the business. It will have to be a godly business started with Clean money if you want God to back it

2) you will have to enter covenant with God on your money. What you must give him as long as the business lives, without it he'd not have a legal ground to withstand forces on your behalf. 10percent of your profit at least with absolute consistency else you spoil the charm. The money you shouldn't give it casually but with the heart that your giving your sacrifice to a deity. Also you must not eat alone, a certain portion of your money will have to benefit others

3) you must never confess negatively or say anything bad concerning your business. Even when others are complaining you must not, even when you feel your not making progress you must not be tempted to say negatively rather you must declare your increase as often as you can

4) the last but the most important is... there's a spirit that brings money. That is, there's a spirit that possesses you and you can never go broke ever in life. In God, the spirit that brings money is living under divine influence- the presence of God. I don't want to go into details but there is a relationship between staying in the presence of God and money. The longer you can stay and ascend the more your quality of life improves not just money. Now if you don't have this presence you will have to find an anointed man that you must pay homage at intervals for him to declare the blessings of God over you as long as you remain in business.

Life is all about laws and effect, do these and no devil will ever have a legal ground to stop you. What I'm saying to you is not head knowledge but an experience

Am an enterprenuer but I didn't pass through all these shit you mentioned. It was difficult starting but I blazed through. Now these are the rules

1) never start a business without a proper knowledge of the business

2) Never start a business without adequate financial management skill

3) Never start a new business without the mindset to be frugal in your spending at least for the first one year

4) the last but the most important is never start a business without a spiritual backup else the elements might just frustrate you

All these I can expanciate but I'm too lazy to type

All evil herdsmen and their sponsors no go ever die better for dis Country, along with any group whatsoever bringing unrest and chaos to our darling nation.

We remembered how we used to live as brothers as sisters in our darling nation with these same Fulani herdsmen.
The times we gave water and food to herdsmen journeying across the nation as they go on their business peacefully,
Just with their sticks for their cattles and kettles for their prayers,
that was all before the evil and criminal minded politicians begun sponsoring some of them for evil because they want unrest and chaos.

That was before the mad man called FFK began tweeting that they have sex with their cows, just to start war and bring unrest in the country.

May it never be well with troublemakers in our darling nation.
May it never be well with all evil herdsmen and all their sponsors.

God bless you too sir.

It is always good and refreshing to see we still have people like you on this forum and in the country.

Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Stopped Calling And Picking My Calls by Nicoddemus(m): 1:58am On Jan 13, 2021
Habby222:
Advice needed pls.

I've been with this guy for close to four years now and its not really been a perfect relationship. Lots of ups and downs due to what I can term insecurity. At some point we're cool and the next minute issues arises just like every other relationship.

He's a good guy to some extent as he showers me with love ( my thoughts)and a lot of times he gives gifts not money though. I've had to give financial assistance to him alot of times, he returns some if he deemed it necessary and doesn't return if he so wishes. I've never complained about this and still always willing to help him out whenever he is in need. Pls note that we're both financially ok.

This gesture of me offering him financial help stopped when I realise he doesn't do same to me. I've had to test him on serval occasions that I needed financial help and he has never for once helped out on those request despite knowing he has. I never needed the money though, I made those request to know if I could actually fall back to him if I'm in need.

Last year October, I told him about my plans of getting a new car as I got tired of the one I was using. Pls note that I did not request him to buy for me neither did I ask for any support whatsoever. I contacted my source in the US with my budget and spec, was able to find one in a short time and I paid for it. All of this moves were known to him. By December, the car arrived and cleared accordingly with every expenses incurred payed by me. He gave some moral support though.

A week after getting the car, he called me one morning and started apologising for not supporting financially in getting the car which I told him I had no issues with that. I told him I wasn't expecting more than moral support from him since I could afford getting the car on my own. I also made him realise he doesn't owe me no apology as I wasn't t his responsibility since we weren't married and that even if we were married, ill always want to get my stuffs myself as long as I can afford it. The next I heard was him ranting on phone that he doesn't expect less from me, said I'm a proud and that he knew I wasn't going to be a good wife. He said he has always known I wasn't going to be a submissive wife and a whole lot of other derogatory words despite not having issues whatsoever prior to that time. I ended the call as I was so surprised he could say those mean words to me.

All through that day he didn't call back and I did not as well cos I was expecting him to realise I was hurt by his actions. A week pass and still no call from him so I decided to call him and he didn't pick. I'd sent a lot of of messages to him and has not replied to any. I'd gone to his house to check up on him and not met him too. Its been three weeks now and we haven't spoken and seen despite all of my effort to talk to him and or see.

Guys please I'm confused and do not know how to handle the issue. Pls advice.

Your success intimidates the guy and he thinks your kind of person will not listen to him in marriage. As a guy believe me the point that guy raised is a very strong one and there's little or nothing you can do to change it. You can do little to save that relationship
