Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Romance Section's Off Topic Chat Room + Derailers Paradise. by NigeriaKitchen: 8:22am On Feb 12, 2013
nikkyshyne: I am not dissing you. But you were seriously. Just cox Ogugua was attacked.

It shows love sha wink
No body attacked anybody. I appreciate the fact that he is proud of his wife, that's lovely, but while he does that, it shouldn't be to the detriment and mockery of other ladies cos from his early comment, he was indirectly bragging.

And I tried to make him realize that if that his wife he sees as the most pretty woman on earth is placed under real public scrutiny, he would discover that she is far below beautiful, that was why I gave him my analysis of the girl he posted.

And for itmodella that called me names for giving a honest analysis, let me tell u: it is bad and in fact sinful for one to be deceiving others, how? By having another thing in mind and saying a diff thing just to tease them and make them feel u like them when u have a diff mindset.

That was why I gave out my honest analysis, I didn't side for anybody, I only got irritated after reading the mods initial comment and only for him to come up with an average-looking ladys pic to indirectly brag and mock others who posted their pics, that's all.

If u like, keep listening to insincere ppl, that's ur biz, I will say things as I see them alwayssmiley

biolabee: Why did the mod close the NL beautyiful women

You were called out after u dissed the thread at inception and suddenly u close the thread.

During themiss nl thread, threads were closed early to give some pple heads up and now this?.

Na wa o
that sounds bitter.

Look at my response to his last post which he hid cos it said the truth.

You called a thread purposeless and u still went ahead to post a lady's pic whom I believe is either- your sister, cousin, girlfriend or wife, of what purpose then

Maybe to indirectly mock the op that she should sleep that there are prettier ladies than she who aren't making noise or sth like that right?

Pls dear mod, refrain from such attitude, it doesn't speak well.

U should have just posted your ladys pic without any comment or say- here is my wife, check her out or sth like that.

Pls let's not derail the thread, I only made my observation, sorry if it hurt anyone.
is the above response bad or derogatory plshuh

Imagine, someone said NigeriaKitchen is DailyNews, I then replied that yes, DailyNews should be the owner of NigeriaKitchen brand, a Nigerian native restaurant and food discussion forum still under construction, and the mod hid it, why and what for? Isn't that oddhuh

It is not something to be proud of...with banks, banks, dominating the list...shows our economy is still on the low side...we need to see more of IT firms, Telecoms, Power companies, Engineering firms, Hospitality, Tourism, Sporting firms (oh yes we can if we organize our sports well), etc...not just banks, banks, etc....its nothing to merry for angry

RomanceRe: A Thread for Single Ladies :) by NigeriaKitchen:
I think why so many girls are single in Nigeria today is this:

1. Majority of the marriageable and date-able guys are not financially buoyant to support a full relationship or marriage, and this is as a result of high rate of unemployment and bad economy situation in Nigeria, and as hard as it may be for u to believe, the employment scale in Nigeria is tilting towards the ladies' favour- the ladies now get jobs easily and more than the guys, and more ladies are succeeding financially in Nigeria than the guys, which now scares the guys away cos they aren't financially capable enough to face the ladies who are now more financially and career empowered.

2. The few financially buoyant guys are in high demand and being competed for by the exceeding number of single ladies who are so desperate to have a ready-made guy, hence, making the few buoyant guys feel confused as to which lady to settle down with in either relationship or marriage, and some get to conclude that all girls are bad due to the fact that so many ladies are after them directly and indirectly using all manner of tactics.

If some well earning and celebrity guys tell u how difficult it is for them to make a choice of a girl to date or to propose to for marriage, u will understand that there is fire on the mountain. They have so many options of ladies to choose from, making them confused.

The solution shud come from the government first; they shud do something to boost employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for the Nigerian guys so that they can become financially fit enough to startup a healthy, stable relation that would lead to marriage and take the single ladies off the spinster market.

Lastly the single ladies on their own part, should try and be more realistic with the present situation and start accepting guys based on their dreams n not their financial worth and help in building them, n stop being deceived by some ladies who cook up bad stories and give bad testimonies that after suffering with a guy, when he succeeds, he will boot the girl and go for another new girl, which its not always the case and even if it exist, its rare, if the lady is good.

So carmelion, its not becos most guys are in jail or prison, that's not the true reason
FoodRe: Maggot-like Object In "Unopened" Amstel Malta (Picture) by NigeriaKitchen: 6:22pm On Jan 22, 2013
AK 48: Hello fellow nairalander, no need for too much grammar.
I saw a maggot-like object inside an "unopened" amstel malta.
I think people have to be careful with the way they package their consumable product, that is why I want you to advice me on how to deal with this pipu.
This is unfortunate, and bad too. But pls don't take further action because if you do if at all you haven't opened the bottle, you will get some settlement and also end up sacking the quality control and the line manager plus those that handled the line that made this production.

And don't ask how they will know cos the nos u see drink bottles n containers are meant for tracing production time, daye, line, etc.

Just let it go, this will sure put them at alert

RomanceRe: Am So Confused.. My Life Is On Hold Right Now by NigeriaKitchen: 12:36pm On Dec 09, 2012
Rosejefrey: Dnt mind all dis guys dat act as if dey dnt go after girls 4 a long time.i think she likes u,u no women now just try harder since u luv her.
my dear I can boldly tell you that good guys, honest and amazing guys hardly chase a girl for long, only playboys and experts in that field, who have lots of experience and lots of women to keep them busy while waiting for a particular girl for years or months, still chase girl for long. Most good guys don't do that for so many reasons that can form a whole book. Take it or leave it.
Christianity EtcWhy Are Nigerians So Religious Yet Over Corrupt? by NigeriaKitchen(op): 12:28pm On Dec 09, 2012
Nigeria is amongst the nations of the world with the highest number of churches and mosques. Nigeria hosts the greatest number of internationally acclaimed men of God. Nigerians are well known for their high-religious attitude.

You meet a Nigerian today, start a conversation (business, social, etc) and before he/she says ten words, he/she will mention God.

On saturday nights, Nigerians flood night clubs doing all sorts of immoral things, and on sunday you see same people singing in front of the congregation.

Before a court case proceeds, the accused is given either a Bible or Quoran to swear with.

On sunday, almost every Nigerian is seen heading to church, and on social network status updates, Nigerians flood the pages with Godly preachings and prophecies; some turn to pastors and prophets on their facebook, twitter, BBM, etc on sundays.

You walk up to a Nigerian single girl and ask her who is her ideal man, the first thing she tells you is: a God-fearing man. You meet a Nigerian trader and ask him how is market, he tells you: we thank God. You meet a Nigerian graduate and ask him/her: have u gotten job yet? He/she replies: I am still hoping on God. Same goes with married people expecting a child and single ladies searching for husband: I am hoping on God.

In spite of all these, Nigerians have been classified as one of the most corrupt, deceitful and wicked people. Does it mean that Nigerians use religion and Godly professions to belie their evil ways and to deceive people pls?
