You can't compare Nigeria where electricity is the major concern and problem to countries who have solved this problem more than 100 years ago.

Just as anybody can maintain, drive and repair an already built car which was already build by an engineer. Those western countries you mentioned are already been structured so anybody can maintain and regulate those things not Nigeria where things aren't properly fixed yet.
This government isn't doing well in electricity aspect. They are only concern about increasing charges without even providing electricity

DEAFandDUMB:
Now I understand why most celebrities go unclad just to get people's attention because as a girl, if I had posted my semi nvde pictures here, am certain the thread must have been bubbling by now but since the topic is about making Nigeria a better place, only few like minds deem it fit to contribute their quota.. To all those that submitted one or two great points, I say thank you all.. I really do appreciate... I strongly believe that Nigeria will be great again..

The advantages are enormous as eddygourdo and erusen had earlier explained.
Imagine a situation where a state can generate some amount of electricity but can't used it for the benefit of its people because it's exclusively the FG'S prerogative,is that not insanity?
Imagine where a state has a very long span kilometers of road in its axis but can't construct it cos it's the FG road and if it's tarred, the FG will refuse to refund the money expended on such. These are critical issues where only true federalism would solve.
Imagine a governor is the chief security of his state, but can't choose it's security details and can't even caution the cp of police.
Only true federalism will curb this.
My only problem is that it will breed grade A level of corruption if there is no check n balance.

Hmmm. So many things on my mind but ur religion needs to change its ideologies. That's d truth. Muslims are too violent in nature and no lies within that. Since I was born, I've never heard of Christians killing Muslim for provocation due to believe, even outside Nigeria, ull never hear that. But a little provocation by anyone including atheist, ull see Christians being killed, yet what u keep hearing is that Islam is a religion of peace. I schooled in d North for 5 years during my tertiary education days. U dare not work passed a Muslim in his front during prayer, if not wahala done happen.
And this violence isn't just peculiar to Nigeria alone. Go to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and wherever u have large number of Muslims.
It's a problem. I have so many Muslims friends, infact one of my best friend, a Muslim came visiting from a far distance last week and we stay together, but the truth is, there are fundamental things u guys need to change. One love

This administration must lose its military mentality. How can you be ordering private business not to sack and threatening to withdraw licenses? How? If the Federal Government orders bank not to sack their staff will the FG also order the ministry of finance to pay the staff salaries banks can no longer pay because of the hasty implementation of the TSA? If they withdraw the bank's license wouldn't the bank be forced to sack even more people? Let us use our brains to fix this economy rather than our mouths!

They are not hypocrites rather they are the only religious organization that truly uphold the sentiments as expressed by Jesus at Matthew 6:9,10. Perhaps, if u truly believes in the bible as God's word u will greatly agree with me that God's kingdom remains the only solution to mankind problem, hence JW's non peddling in political affairs of the world because they strongly believes in the words of Jeremiah 10:23 that it does not belong to man to direct his own steps.

Don't misinterpret the Bible.
