By the time the infamous kidnapper and his gang are charged to court, a lot will be revealed about the man. |
Not new, even Lawrence Anini cried as much. |
zoboizee:I noticed that the story line was totally different from what has been revealed about the infamous Evans since Saturday. I actually thought the journalist who wrote the report was living up to the crappy investigations some of them are known for in Nigeria. It was all mixed up! |
Schematics:If you change, we will welcome you back among umunwanne here on NL. But, if you remain recalcitrant, we all know you already. The choice is yours. Ekwusigo m ka ora m na onu!! Finito!! |
Schematics:What else can you show aside this? You're irredeemably daft! |
Schematics:With these words above, you have defined who you are as a person - a confused clannish Igbo bigot who hates Ndigbo from other Igbo states. Umu Igbo will continue to shame you here on NL. Your narrow mindset will continue to be your undoing, as all and sundry abhors you in all ramifications! |
Schematics:Usu iberibe, your type can't understand anything! You're like a bush bat. When did bush bats start understanding humans? Usu ofia, febanye na ime oku! Hunger must have rewired your little brain. NL folks already know who you're - a full bloody clannish bigot! |
Schematics:Usu, Okonkwo is not Onuamadike, the kidnapper is not from Opi. Folks are watching as you continue making more stupid claims on NL. Go on, write more false line. |
Schematics:Anuofia, mechie onu nsi gi ebe afuu! I'm sure a bush rat like you didn't read the interview on his father from a Nigeria newspaper this week. Does his surname sound like he is from the town you mention? You're making a big fool of your twisted mind here. Go read joor! |
Schematics:Bloody Asshole, are you for real? He is definitely not from Enugu State. Shame on you, kidnapper sympathizer!! |
The dude and his gang terrified Edo and FESTAC with the precision of a Sicilian Mafioso! The families of his victims went through hell - dozens of sleepless nights worrying about the safety of a loved one in the hands of armed and greedy kidnappers is not easy. He had his eyes on the dough and never thought he would be caught. It's now time for him to remember Anini and Osunbor! |
chybosaint:Blame Nigerian style of journalism. He likely fled Umudim Nnewi and stayed in serene Opi to avoid being caught. Probably lived with a lady there for a while or went for Juju reenforcement. My take though |
macolino:I hope so, but our sociopolitical structure makes such hope sometimes doubtful. The most painful lies is when we pretend as if such cracks are not deeply rooted in our culture. An outsider picking such lines against Ndigbo should be worrisome to us. An Igbo adage says " O bu oke noo na ulo, gwara oke noo na ohia, na azu di na ngiga"! |
Michel2013:It could seem petty to you, but simple things do matter in this case. The way one writers about a tribe could show if one belongs to the said tribe or not. Nairaland is a faceless forum, sometimes one need to consider little things in order to unmask a username. |
kingzizzy:I could be wrong though, but I wonder how an outsider could know much about Igbo dialects and surname structures. These are things known mostly by natives. |
greenermodels:I believe some of such scumbags are Ndigbo who likes to follow the footsteps of known clannish bigots such as Chino and Chinchi- Nonso. |
Lots of young and naive Igbo boys here! They are all foolishly dividing themselves into Wawa, Agbenu, Ngwa, Anam, Osu, Ohu, and Nwadiala factions. Pray you deranged folks do not plunge Ndigbo into a clannish war of shame! Tufiakwa!! |
Godswillnwaoma:The blogger hurriedly sent out above information without telling his audience the name of Anichebe's hometown or what such masquerades are called in Igboland. Looking at his surname, Anichebe is likely from Enugu State, Delta State or from Awka or Onitsha areas of Anambra State. The masquerades on the picture are teenage boys masquerades . They look like Nwa Ikpor! |
Schematics:Let us move on in discussing issues that affects us together as Ndi Igbo. There is a lesson for each and everyone of us here.... with a new air of unity and cohesive politics blowing across Igboland, any form of clannish bigotry will be condemned by Ndi Igbo! Anyi bu umunne, ma isi na ugwu, ma isi na ndida Anigbo!! |
nairamaniac:Well, such power project will no doubt involve billions of Euros. Electricity trading across countries has been going on for decades. Yes, it is still available. |
Schematics:Boastful lines indeed! I see the insults as a byproduct of weakness, so i prefer to ignore such especially if it comes from a fellow Igboman on this forum. Just as i told Chino sometime ago, you guys should lay low. Each state in our part of this world is abundantly blessed, but as it is in all federal settings, we shall all develope gradually. An Igbo adage says "onu na ebe akwa, imi esoro ya na ebe"! |
InyinyaAgbaOku:Yes Bros, we need more of such positive politics in the state. |
By the way, Wawa is a province in Ontario, Canada. Wawa is a suburb in Pennsylvania, United States of America. Wawa is a language in Cameroon. Wawa is in Anigbo, Nigeria. My people, we are international!! |
On side track, UNTH's Ituku- Ozalla construction was started by NPN, during Alhaji Shehu Shagari's administration - 1980\81. Law School Agbani was established by FGN in honour of Justice Augustine Nnamani, of Supreme Court of Nigeria. |
Schematics:I have noticed that you always support the Chinchinonso of a person. He once claimed that 'Ani be anyi as Wawa, instead of ' Ana be anyi' as Agbaenu'. I asked the nonentity where Ideani, Adazi- Ani, and Osadebe's ' Agbalaka Azo Ani' came from. Those towns and Osadebe's are not 'Ndi Wawa', and he couldn't answer my question. I also asked him to name his hometown in Anambra, which he couldn't. I told him that in Akpugo my hometown, we have rich successful businessmen and traders who could compete favourably with Anambra businessmen and traders. Enugu state with its mineral deposits and size have more better potential aside Ebonyi than any other state in the South East economically. With best topography and its potentials, Enugu state is the future of Anigbo. Those who have lived outside Nigeria understand my assumption better. |
igwebuike01:The roads being built by RCC in Nsukka area is far better than what is obtainable at Agbani by a long shot. Agbani is still a rural village, when compared to Nsukka both in street layouts and roads. I know both towns very well, and i refuse to agree with you on this issue. |
Nkanu people like politics, and sincerely they know how to win elections. The problem is that the zone has never learnt how to use political powers they acquired to develope the area as it should be. Apart from Ozalla due to its central location, and recently Amechi- Awkunanaw, due to it's control of Enugu South LGA, Nkanuland has more than 80% of its communities without modern asphalt roads. That is not a smart way of playing politics! Sometime ago, i wondered why the former governor from the area did not deem it necessary to dualize the road from Ozalla junction to Amagunze, and got it lined with street lighting down the same stretch. The Agbani- Afikpo road was begging for a better attention for decades. It is shameful, but i believe that Agwu area has far better road networks than Nkanu and yet Agwu has not yet produced a governor, while Nkanu men( Nwobodo and Nnamani) have ruled from Lion Building Enugu for 12 years. Nkanu politicians must change their parochial mindset or else the entire area remains underdeveloped for more decades. The local politics of Ikenga Vs Odenigbo has done terrible damage to the entire area. |
As an Nkanu man, i really like what Gov. Ugwuanyi has done in Nsukka area so far. It actually shows he learnt from Okwesilieze Nwodo's mistake when he was the first executive governor of Enugu State from Nsukka zone. Gov. Ugwuanyi has not registered his own construction company to be used to deliver substandard roads to his zone. He rather engaged the service of a reputable company to build roads that will last long in his area. That shows his seriousness in setting a good standard. Former Gov. Chime equally did same , through Arab Contractors in Udi area. In Nkanu area during former Gov. Nnamani's reign, he brought ESUT to his hometown and empowered some new politicians in Nkanu to enjoy the spoils of power with him. He tried to bring electricity to rural communities in the area, but he forgot that what Nkanu needed most was opening up of the villages to civilization by connecting Nkanu towns with good asphalt roads. The roads he built in Nkanu was perhaps the most substandard I have seen a governor do in his zone. He used a company he hurriedly established to do shoddy work. We still remember a new bridge that fell after 6 months at Nyaba near Amodu. The 50% unfinished dualization of Ozalla - Agbani Road. The road he built from St. John's Agbani to Akpugo is currently an eyesore. Nkanu West Headquarters to Amodu has deteriorated with a fallen culvert. Amurri and all the villages in Ugbwka, Nara- Unateze, Nkerefi, and Nomeh were abandoned. Ihuokpara and Amagunze were in a very hopeless situation. In Nnamani 8 years at Lion Building, it never perhaps occurred to him that Nkanu people in Amechi-Idodo, Owo and Nike did not deserve to travel all the way to Enugu-PH expressway to get to Agbani or Amagunze. Recently, i noticed that work have started on Idodo - Amagunze road, courtesy of Gov. Ugwuanyi. With a landmass of about 7,161sqkm(the largest in the East) Enugu State government needs a lot of money to build roads in our rural areas. |
In 2007, i met a German who was part of the team working on this technology at Conti Temic office in Markdorf. His reply when I asked him about the possibility of such advanced technology was " nothing is impossible ". Although, I don't know if other German companies including Mercedes Benz were working on the same 'technik' as they call it there; or whether Conti Temic sold the idea to MB. |
That's how we'll be rolling in Stuttgart '21! Yes, Stuttgart 2021!! |
Enugu has the largest landmass in Igboland, and also the most beautiful landscape. We also have the most cosmopolitan city in the East. One of the most attractive side of Enugu is the food. Yes, our Soul food is second to non in Igboland. Akidi, Abacha, Achicha, Okpa, Fiofio, and Ukwa are deliciously cooked to satisfy your hunger for nutrients. The best palm wine is home in villages around Enugu. Sports wise, Coal City has produced Olympic medalists for Nigeria. Enugu Rangers has produced notable footballers for Nigeria and European clubs. Coal City will always aim to be the best in offering its citizens and visitors a memorable city experience. |
caleboxylic:Well, it seems easy to blame the governor, but FGN and most of the States recorded negative growth in revenue generation due to the recession. How could Enugu state's revenue in 2016 be higher when companies were downsizing or outrightly going bankrupt? Many workers who normally pay taxes were equally sacked during the period in review. |
