That's about €120 where I live! First thing is checking the reviews and if it appeals to my taste, i wait until the rush hours are over. It's definitely not gonna stay higher priced for long. The recipe there for me is that the author is a Nigerian I would like to read his book. Just as i got hooked to Wale Soyinka's book Ake Isara, when former German Foreign minister Klaus Kinkel, told Der Spiegel it was his favorite book.

Chase classic novels are like watching Charles Bronson or Denzel Washington movies - not even one sentence is boring until the last line! It could also make its reader suspect every human as a potential criminal.

I am going to checkout the book on amazon this weekend. I hope it's gonna give me the kind of thrills I get from James Hardly Chase books

Range Rover was bought by BMW in early 2000s. The Münchener had no choice after 5 years than to sale Range Rover brand(BMW retained only MINI)after loosing billions of Euros due to low patronage. Range Rover was a flop in European, American and Asia markets. In third world countries it seems a success, although it's still more like an expensive matches box. I personally prefer BMW X5, 4.5 litre engine, 2015 model - a power-pack redefined!!

When last did you pass through this road?... Is there really progress in the construction currently or is the report on this thread just political gimmick to deceive people? ... I would love to know the true story before commenting further.

Nwanne, i am currently in Nigeria and just about 10 days ago i traveled from Enugu through that road on my way to Lagos. Remember, before RCC started work on the road, people were driving from 9th Mile through old road to Awka; or from Four corner(Ozalla) to Awka and Awka through Nawfia -Abagana-Ogidi- Nkpor. RCC repaired one lane slightly, so that drivers could stop driving through the old on their way to Enugu or Awka. Major reconstruction is on the closed lane on the right where RCC is laying fresh asphalt and new drainage. RCC was awarded section 2 of the road, 9th Mile - Amansea. 9th Mile - Enugu is awarded to a company called CCC, but apart from little repairs around Milken Hill, the company is yet to mobilize fully to site. Awka- Ogbunike section is given to another company, but the details are sketchy.

I just explained that the road has been under construction under Jonathan administration stating areas already completed...just to disprove the lie here that it was outrightly abandoned by Jonathan... Did I say contrary something? so why travel and see rubbish? That road was abandoned by Buhari when he came in which forced Obiano to seek PPP for it...they started it again now maybe because of Anambra state GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION

I am not going to insult you at all. You could be a kid brother to me. You wrote "portion completed" and i took you down by naming the areas previously done which is less than 50% of the Anambra state section of the road. But you can go on to twist facts in your mind but not that of thousands of fellow Ndi Igbo who ply the road everyday. I know that what matters to you is to belittle the huge efforts being made by the present FG on that road.

For me as a car freak, that road is so important to me because in early 90s journey between Enugu and Onitsha by car was just about 45 minutes. With the creation of Anambra state and Awka as the capital, the Expressway was expected to play a pivotal role in opening up development around 9th Mile - Ugwuoba corridor. Nigeria can also experiment on its first Autobahn using the 100km road as a case study, just like Germany did in the 30s between Cologne and Dortmund.

I am a true 042 man. I can tell you that only portions between Ogbunike towards Tollgate area with a further extension to Headbridge was done by Peter Obi of which the FG later refunded Anambra state government money spent on that 15km distance. Later between 2014 to 2016 anothe section was done in Awka capital territory area which stopped at Agwu - Awka after Unizik. I can teach you more about Igboland, if you are willing to learn.

Well, SE people like me know that billions of Naira were stolen during about 6 years PDP federal government lied about reconstructing Enugu- Onitsha Expressway.

President Buhari is doing what he did in 1996 as PTF chairman, he reconstructed that road before Zik's burial. That was the last major work on the 100km expressway.

RCC is slow on the job, but they are doing a quality work so far at Ezeagu area . Shame on Madueke and Ekweremmadu who both from the zone but couldn't influence the former president on the need to rebuild that road. It was a PDP Ponzi scheme road in Igboland!!

I think it's the best shot yet in solving the doubts or otherwise of the Jewishness of Ndi Igbo. The DNA tests should be representative of the different 'Agburu' Ndi Igbo.

When they finish in Nnewi, they should test people in my hometown Akpugo, Enugu-Ezike, Udi, Awka, Onitsha, Uli, Ikwo, Ezillo, Afikpo, Aro - Chukwu, Ovim, Akabo, Isiala-Ngwa, Ihitte-Uboma, Ofeme and Awo-Idemmiri. There's a paradigm shift in power in the US. You have no idea how much opposition Trump is contending with.
His principles transcend partisan ideologies, which was why both Democrats and Republicans tried everything in the means and power to stop him but he was prepared. I respect that man.

Any US politician, past or present can not be expected to have anything good to say about Trump, cos he is not one of them. He does not support their lies and propaganda over the years. He is a political anomaly to them.

I believe Trump is a good leader, not a perfect one but possibly the best choice for US presently. I know his bluntness got him elected but now as the POTUS, he needs to learn to be more politically correct to the media lest his bluntness might become his undoing. Imagine a world where all presidents and prime ministers were as blunt as Trump.

How is he fighting the system when he has rolled out his Wall Street fellow billionaires as his secretaries? He is likely gonna free Wall Street from financial controls enacted by Obama, which will certainly lead to more exposure of companies and individuals taking more financial risks; potentially reloading another sub-prime disaster. Already his government is in the hands of Wall Street hawks.

America has gained enormously from NAFTA, yet Mr Trump wants U.S out of it. He is already making America's closest allies in Europe jittery by hobnobbing with Europe's historical foe Russia. Mr Trumps behaviour might help rogue states like North Korea and Iran pursue their quest to acquire nuclear arsenal vigorously.

Any modern GOP member who's going against Regean's doctrine of small government , seeing and viewing Russia as an adversary of U.S, championing of NATO goals should watch his back.

Mr Trump should be prepared for the debris that would fall on his head if he continues the way he has taken off.
