I am highly impressed by Enugu State's 14.2 billion Naira revenue in 2016, despite the tough economy in Nigeria. This means that Gov. Ugwuanyi has continued to build on Chime's foundation. We've got good administrators no doubt. I would like the state government to double that figure in the next 5 -7 years. 042, ndi oma, ndi oma!! |
nonsobaba:Chinchinonso, you're a crazy little kid! You actually know nothing about Igbo dialects. In Awka area, it's 'Ani', Ogbaru area and some parts of Anambra state say 'Ani be anyi'. Do you know where Ideani is located? Do you know what Osita Osadebe's 'Agbalaka azo Ani' means? If i know the name of your hometown i will take you down, piece by piece! For your information, Nightshift is from Akpugo, a town that has got it all. Tell us your hometown if you're not ashamed. Oberenwa Chinchi puta na uzo. Aniwawa Akulugo! |
nonsobaba:Chinchinonso(nearby bedbug), iputago inyu nsi gi ebe a? Aniwawa will continue to shame a bitter person like you. You and your little mind cannot change the narrative of Wawaland's pivotal role in Igboland. |
achi4u:Nnaa kedu ka eke si agha mmiri? Ama m na nwoke na-awa ike ya? I thank God for his mercies! |
A quick reminder to the haters of Enugu State. Enugu state has the largest landmass in Igboland. The state civil service is the most organized in Igboland. Enugu state have always been home to prominent Igbo men and women e.g Owelle Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ikemba Odumegwu Ojukwu, Aninefungwu Christain Onoh, Eze N'Ukpo, Hyde Onuaguluchi, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu. Enugu state has the potential to power all the South Eastern and South states with electricity from its coal deposit. Enugu state is the home to Enugu Rangers International...the most popular football club in Igboland!! Enugu City is Igboland's Berlin and Paris combined. Enugu bu isi mmiri Anigbo!!! |
Yyeske:There is no mention of the status of Enugu and Akwa-Ibom states on the newspaper report. Or were you reading with defect eyeglasses? |
Rachael's Nsukka dialect is the bomb-one of the most sexy Igbo dialects, especially when spoken by ladies. She looks cool as well. Umu asa plenty for 042!! |
smilingface:He is an Igboman, his grasp of Igbo political dynamics, names and places gives him out as an adult Igboman. He still holds the images of Igboland in the 70s in his mind, where other villages have huts while there are few duplexes in his village. Unfortunately, lunatics like him are many in our villages and towns. There is little or no teaching of Igbo patriotism in schools in Igboland. On the other hand, it's an extension of the culture of division or discrimination amongst Ndi Igbo. We must change the way we relate to each other, or we end up always feuding. There is hope though, most of Ndi Igbo understand that without political cohesion in Igboland, we are dead on arrival. |
Progressive01:Osu caste system was introduced in Igboland by lunatics. Well meaning Igbo sons and daughters are working hard to change that cultural terror against our people. Chinua Achebe's exposure of the evils of the caste system in his book 'No Longer At Ease' brought it to world attention. |
nonsobaba:You are a lunatic, your type are like those earlier lunatics who introduced Osu caste system in Igboland. Unfortunately, people who think like you are many in some Igbo villages. So the death of a fellow Igboman does not matter to you if the person is not from your village or area you consider related to you? Your political naivety has no rival. |
Ramota and Ovularia were the female versions of Zebrudaya and Jegede Shokoya. Memories of NTA Chanel 6 Aba. RIP to the great lady! |
Wawa is a province in Ontario, Canada. Wawa is a suburb in Pennsylvania, USA. Wawa is a language in Cameroon. Now over to Igboland: Wawa means No in most of Igbo dialects spoken in Enugu State. In Awka area of Anambra State, 'Wa' means No as well in their dialect. Just like in some Igbo dialects in Imo State, Olo means No. It is equally notable that other Igbo people from Anambra, Abia and Imo state ignorantly refer to Enugu State people as Ndi Wawa. Most people from these states have no clue what Wawa actually means. Sometimes some parts of Ebonyi state are included as Wawa people. The Igbo dialects in Enugu state varies from one local government area to the other, which is also the norm in neighbouring states. Wawaland is Anigbo kponkwem!! |
hopsydboi:Well, apart from the price, Nigerian perception is another factor here. Nigerian buyer would more often prefer to pay for a Benz that costs same as a Volvo because the image of a Benz is bigger here. While in developed countries, many more options are considered,eg safety standard, interest rate and guarantee period against rust. Whichever way one looks at it, globally Volvo has great reputation as an automobile brand. |
hopsydboi:Volvo has got style as well, but it's expensive compared to regular Japanese on Nigerian roads. As an iconic European brand, Volvo belongs to the premium class. |
Pennywise:SUV isn't always about big size, BMW X3 and Audi Q5 are same size range as the mentioned Volvo XC60 |
Where else would he celebrate it if not in Coal City? Pete Edochie became popular as a presenter of a famous radio program in Enugu. As the presenter of 'Music Of The Masters' on ABS Radio 1 Enugu, Pete Edochie became a household name years before he was on film as Okonkwo, a character from Achebe's best seller, 'Things Fall Apart '. Pete, Ndi Enugu na asi gi Birthday Oma! |
Hate him or love him, one thing is quite clear about President Buhari - he loves Nigeria and wants this country to succeed. His patriotism is like the kind shown by former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who did everything he could to have a united Germany. I personally wish Mr President and his Vice a big success in turning Nigeria around. |
That's a smart move by Mr President, this will further unite the ruling party as the acting president enjoys the trust of his boss. I hope works will continue on all the roads the FG is currently reconstructing, especially Enugu-Onitsha and Enugu- Port-Harcourt Expressways. I wish you quicker recovery Mr President!! |
Obere Umuazu ozugo nu!! Every Igbo state will continue to develop at its pace. We should not be dragging who is first or second. Any division among us is a sign of weakness, which could be exploited by our competitors or enemies. All our states have great men and women, in business, academics, sports, politics, etc. All our states have enough blessings to go round. Isi juoo unu oyi. Onye aghana nwanne ya. No man they say, is an island. We all have something good to learn from each other. Nightshift nwa Akpugo ekwusigo |
erico2k2:"We know all that". Thanks you have accepted that an X6 SUV from BMW is not a Jeep! You can continue to call every 4×4 vehicle you see a Jeep. Ich lach Mich tot! ![]() |
erico2k2:Jeep is a registered brand of Chrysler motors of United States of America. The name Jeep is a trademark and brand of off-road vehicles produced exclusively by Chrysler. No model of a German automobile company including BMW has a vehicle known as Jeep. Jeep Cherokee and Wrangler models are all manufactured by Chrysler Motors Inc and its subsidiary. |
OP, there is nothing like "BMW Jeep". The vehicle on the picture above looks like an X6 SUV from BMW. BMW does not make " Jeep". BMW manufacture Cars, SUVs and Motorcycles. Ighotago? |
Truthinlife:Nwanne, o ga adi nma! I equally grew up in Aba when the city was better organized. I had the best of my teenage life experience in Enyimba city. Throughout the 80s, Aba was fun. From our football games at CKC, Okigwe Rd. Primary School, to the taste of delicious meal served with stockfish and rich ice creams! Enyimba city will bounce back with a big bang! |
Ifugo onye ocha na agboo Mango? I couldn't stop laughing when I saw that photo where the white dude was trying to knock some mangos down with a stone. In such a relaxed atmosphere, such an activity could well work as a therapy. |
I am not surprised. In the Coal City state we live life to the fullest. And more so, you get value for your money. Enugu. Ezike Pammy is one of the most potent in Igboland, after that of Udi. Anyi na anwu nkwu-enu na Enugu, obughi ngwoo! |
Ukwu Sara mbara! She seems to be holding a bottle of Heineken beer. Girls that drink beer from bottle are mostly sex addicts. Don't near them if you have small cassava ![]() |
I remember the day I saw rubber puzzy in a Hamburg sex shop. The seller told me it felt like the real thing and that he sold dozens of it every month. Some had weird pubic hairs and clit. That seem to be the type of men's stuff the lady was talking about. Some men use such to ywank-off pressure. It's all in the mix sha. |
sunnedee2:I am in Germany currently. Are you in Europe as well? |
If the former governors had continued where Mbakwe stopped, the situation in Enyimba city would not have deteriorated to its present condition. Thank God the new Governor is trying to clean up the once vibrant and proud city. Enyimba n' Aba!! |
To those who hardly pay attention to details, the article says that the progress recorded started in fourth quarter of 2016. That means from October 1st to the end of December 2016. |
I bet the starting price could be from €80,000. That's not the kind of money young Wall street traders gonna spend on a station wagon. It could find it's buyers among mainly conservative European brokers or successful lawyers. |
Another Stuttgart's 'wunderkind'! Porsche is going futuristic like no other automobile brand. The latest 911 model looks almost like an alien ship, especially in the night when all the external lights are on. |
