Education is not free in US. Many of those niggas only have access to underfunded public schools and can only make it to college on a sports scholarship.

Those guys are unique in that they have been an underprivileged class for over 300 years. Centuries of inherited poverty has so affected their collective psyche that they all they want is to make that money even if it's just for a minutes.

Many have nothing to lose, so they really pursue that crack or sports dream, because the Government has blocked thier way into normal society. When they get the money, they don't know what to do with it, so they act reckless and go broke in a few years.

You see the thing about growing inequality is that eventually, it comes back to bite you in the asss.

Every single country where there is a massive gap between the rich and the poor, it ALWAYS ends in violence. Check your history or better yet, check the country you live in now.

Th mentality you hold was the prevalent mentality of the late 19th and early 20th century industrial america. A small group of people continued to get richer and richer,developing monopolies on almost every single good and service at the time, whilst the poor got poorer and poorer, and the government failed to intervene.

One of the effects of this was the Great Depression of the 1920s. The American government under FDR had to step in with the 'New Deal' to get the people back on their feet, directly clashing with the super rich of his day. Too long to start going into it.

An easier way to compare, is to look at Nigeria today and the gap between the rich elite and the common man. What's the crime rate these days? Are the rich really safe from the poor?

The Government MUST step in to reduce the gap between rich and poor, they MUST step in to alleviate some of the pains of the common man, and and one of the ways the government can do this, is by taxing the rich.

Otherwise the Poor will eat the Rich.

C decides to study more, take certifications every 6 months go for development seminars work 60hrs a week and make 100K a yr

Their estate needs to improved they were given a quote of 12K for repairs

A suggests that he should pay 0, B and C should pay 6k each to fix their estate
B suggests that they should pay based on their income A pays 1k, B pays 3k and C pays 8k
C suggests all of them should split in equally and pay 3k each

If you look at it in absolute terms, then you're right.

But that's not the way it happens in real life. Let me tell you what would really happen to the ABC brothers when they get that quote.

C knows that he could probably afford to buy his own estate complete with a pool, helipad, and still have enough change to fvck his favourite twin strippers every weekend. He realises that he never really liked A and B anyway...so he moves out of the house and leaves A and B to sort it out.

B realises that the cost repairing the estate on his own is quite significant now that A has gone. He could probably pay up to 5k towards fixing the estate, could perhaps take a loan to increase his contribution to 9k in total. Then he remembers that A's children were always dressed up in rubbish cheap clothes and were quite razz. He loves A but he doesnt like their kids mixing. B knows he can afford a decent crib elsewhere...so he moves out.

A is now left with the estate he cannot afford to fix, and cannot afford to vacate. A and his kids spend all their money struggling to keep the roof of the estate from collapsing over their heads. A and his wife develop health problems from the stressthat prevent them from working so they lose their jobs. Their children cant afford to go to school so they become gangsters and start selling weed.

Eventually B and C become afraid to visit their old estate, because A's kids are now wild and it's now too dangerous. So they avoid it altogether.

B and C realise that A's kids are now too wild to be allowed to roam the streets, so they invest in harsher and harsher police and build more prisons to act as a buffer...A's kids resent this treatment and start protesting violently against their treament....

Now what if their parents had devised a formula for contributions towards the maintenance of that estate where each of the brothers had contribute something like 45%,35%,and 20% depending on how much they earned?

The National Health Service(NHS) provides free healthcare to all British citizens, including treatment of any disease, to any level. Completely funded by the Tax payer.

In the US if you don't have health insurance, you die. In the Nigeria, if you dont have money for Chloroquine, you could die from a single mosquito bite. That's a disgrace.

It's a natural instinct to want to keep more of what you have made, and angle for lower taxes, but when the gap between the haves and have-nots becomes too great without a safety net, it leads to complete dysfunction. The poor in the US are not that different to the poor in Naija as you probably know. The poor in the UK though will probably still have a house provided to them by the Government, can still send their kids to school, and still has access to free healthcare.

That's why I support higher taxation, benefits, etc.

Tbh only voted at the last minute. Same here I thought we would stay as Brits are usually opposed to change. Either way I am not too fussed. The UK will do well with or without the EU.

What I find intersting however is that amongst my black and Ethnic minorities circle of friends, I was in the minority that voted to remain. These hungry folks cant think about the long term, they're all about the 'right now'. That's why every four years, we see the usual spectacle of chief xyz leading his supporters to defect to APC or PDP or whatever new combination of alphabets at the time.

Even if you hold a referendum today, the fools will first kill themselves at the polling booths and snatch all the ballots. Then they will release the results as pro-Biafra: 90%, anti-Biafra: 92%. Both sides will then hypocritcally accuse each other of rigging. One side will claim to have won. The other side will sue him to court. The judge will say that a third guy won...then all of them will go to appeal court, only to find that a fourth party has filed a different court case under the name of the first party.

Voted to Remain. Weighted up the pros and cons of both sides and decided that staying in the EU was the best option. Have to say though, getting Boris Johnson on the leave side was a very smart move.
