Barcelona had the best outing winning a treble. Barca had a league GD of +89. Juve (2 trophies) (+48), Bayern (+62). Even Madrid had a better squad with a GD of +80. Chelsea ended the season with a goal difference of +41 (park the bus mentality). Also, the other teams all had better outings in the Champions league.

Chelsea wasn't as successful as expected because of a weak bench and a weaker squad. Mou only had a good starting 11.

Moreover, the last time a French team played in the finals of the UCL was a decade ago. Chelsea won the trophy less than 5 years ago.

Chelsea had an okay season last season. Started hot and slowly got cold- jetlag, tired legs. It could have been a different story if the competition was hot.

Mou might've won the league buh he had no competition in the run in. Mou dropped enough points to be overtaken towards the end of the season. If there was good competition, he'd have lost the title. Utd was strengthening from a very poor previous season, City did very little to strengthen its team. Arsenal was pulling a Wenger.

The way Chelsea went out of UCL last season was disgraceful for England's London's champions.

Mourinho has a starting 11. Nothing else. No bench, no reserve, no 2nd team.

Other teams are strengthening weak areas with new players, Mourinho is busy doing nothing to strengthen his team.

He is known to consistently use the same team for almost all of his matches, little or no rotation whatsoever. Last season, Terry played all 90 minutes of all 38 EPL matches.

See where the problem is: BODY NO BE FIREWOOD.

At some point in time players get fatigued, injured or simply dip in performance.

Chelsea is involved in all 4 competitions, by Jan or February Chelsea's performance'll be soo poor you'd be alarmed. Poor performance coupled with weak legs make teams lose matches.

With improved competition from Utd, City n others it won't be long before Chelsea is kicked out of all competitions.

EPL club mgmts are not patient with poor performance and poor results, Abramovich is less patient than most EPL club mgmts.
