all4naija:You are a waste of sperm. You will do well not to procreate. The innate stupidity in your DNA must not be allowed to taint the human Gene Pool. |
coogar:Excuse ke? My main argument has always been that stats are deceptive, at least defensively. Have a look at this link: http://statsbomb.com/2013/10/defensive-metrics-an-introduction/ |
leggo:Not sure how disproves anything I wrote |
coogar:You are trying to judge who is better by stats(which is silly anyway) You compare Rafael per 90( 5 games) to Valencia (20 games) Can you not see the obvious flaw in that? Or do I have to spoon feed you? |
sinizia:I don't think you understand how averages work. The more appearances you make, the lower your averages get. Hence 1/2 bigger than 1/5 |
leggo:You didn't know that Alves was stastically inferior. When I compared Val to all the other FB's and showed that he bested them all by your standards, your response was 'That's why I wanted Alves' It was when we applied the Valencia test to Alves, and saw that he too had failed it. Anyway, World Class as an appellation is form related, and Yes Matic became world class at Chelsea. |
sinizia:It's actually because of the fewer games that Schneirderlin's Stats look better. And your stats don't actually take that into account. 1/2 is always going to be bigger than 1/5 |
leggo:I'm not sure where you're going with this. Remember, you were the one who was arguing that any new signing had to be statistically better than what was on ground. What are your views on Darmian v Valencia? |
leggo:Of course Matic is a world class player. |
coogar:It doesn't really matter if I knew Darmian or not(I didnt), the fact of the matter is that you were dismissive of Clyne because he wasn't 'High Profile' enough....Then LVG went and signed Darmian who was even less visible to fans of the English game. Leggo went and brought some stats that made Valencia look better than most fullbacks, and I can bet that Darmian would pale into insignificance if he takes the 'Valencia Test' So I'm not sure why Nihilist's name is being mentioned, especially when Nihilist's suggestion is actually being implemented as transfer policy. I personally think Manyoo have overpaid for Schweinsteiger, but that remains to be seen. |
leggo:Mate are you trying to compare sleep to death? |
coogar:Bastian aside, LVG has done exactly what I said...by focusing less on marquee signings and more on less famous talent. As for comparisons, you were slagging Clyne off as a runt...then went and signed Darmian who nobody really knows. Schneiderlin is a good player no doubt...but he's not World Class either And if the rumours about Oblak are true, Manyoo are actually chasing Athletico's second choice keeper. And the Bastian transfer, the less said about that, the better. |

I hate reading this kind of uninformed crap, so against my better judgement, I will try and educate the OP 1. Never try to fight or have the back of an average black man cause they will turn their back at you, have learnt a black mans mind can be easily be convinced so far you have material things So non-black people are less likely to be swayed by material things? The FIFA scandal for example, is an incident on corruption on a global scale. The vast majority of the suspects are not black 2. An average black man won't talk to his fellow black cause he still practices his african religion reasons being he found a new foreign religion which is against it,how about preaching love? Islam isn't the indigenous religion of the vast majority of it's practitioners around the world....Neither is Christianity. Or even Buddhism for that matter. A sub-section of these religions all over the world, advocate and practice segregation from non-believers 3. An average Black will worship anything foreign, so far is not from their lands Define worship. 4. An average black man hate his skins, they hate their lives, they hate the misery they found themselves. They result into bleaching, fixing wigs, accent just trying to be a white man(reminds me of malcolmX trying to be white at first by relaxing his hair till he was reorientated) This is the effect of cultural dominance. Unfortunately, the western ideals of beauty have now become the global standard, and so most non-western cultures are adapting to fit into these ideals at varying rates. Educate yourself on the concept of 'Westernisation' 5.An average black man will stay in history and never hold those who run the present(leaders) responsible for our backwardness but still keep blaming the whites for what happened in 18-19th century(the white as no justification for what they did to a black man) even when knowing they have much resources now than when we had white in our soils. Most African countries recieved their independence between the 1960s and 1980s, and under dubious circumstances too. You think the effects of the preceding 500 years of slavery and exploitation can be undone in just 50 years? 6.An average black man wants to feel superior to his fellow black man, he hereby goes to the white to stab his brothers,e.g goto our factories most of the mal-treatment a black man receives is either done by a fellow black man going slashing salaries from what the white actually prepared, obasanjo et al, to buruji(his a sinner, who ought to have been convicted, why are they just seeking that) just to prove a point This actually just simple economics and human behaviour. Survival of the fittest in an area of limited resources. Under-qualified people from any race would do exactly when competing for limited jobs. 7.An average black man will never come together to revolt against injustice, they rather talk and talk(just look at a situation normal bus charge is 40# and the drivers take advantage of poor situation to collect 100#,and you agreed to pay 40# when you reach destination, you will see a black man that will go back to pay 100# his excuses his is religion, faith, tradition) This is just nonsense. There are too many examples of black freedom fighters in history to count. It was ordinary black people like you and I who turned out en masse to protest Fuel Subsidy Removal...and March for Bring Back our Girls...or Marched for Buhari...or even rioted at June 12. 8. An average black man will sell their brother out just to please a foreigner, An average person from any race will sell out anybody if the price is right. Go and read through Europen history and see how many kings killed their siblings to get the crown. Unless you're trying to claim that Greed is a trait exclusive to black people. 9. An average blackman is filled with bile, hatred in their gut, their minds are shackled, What does this even mean? 10Is evident in malcolmX death, that a fellow black killed him even when he was trying to fight for their freedom The people who killed him actually felt he was selling out by preaching reconciliation with the Whitemen. 11.You can see skales tweet,an average black man sold skales out too on behalf an half blackkkkkk! (Even feeling inferior to a biracial black man) So far you from the white land you will be worshiped,an average black man so much hate their skin. An average black man may dream about a bad omen to someone, tells the person about the dream, the person doesn't believe in dream, the black man will go as far as secretly wishing the bad omen comes to pass to prove a point to a fellow, None of that makes any sense. 12.Is it the average black man fault?yes it is the average black man fault, the day we revolt against the evils we call leaders the day we rise, no one will help the black race until the black race learn to unite to forge forward.you ever wonder why the whole of africa is that backward? Don't talk about South Africa you can see how downward its going when the leadership becomes black? The question is are we cursed with bad leaders?or we just know how to select the bad leaders? Or we love the bad leaders as some ladies prefer bad boys and later found out his spurious?if you think the youth are the future?you need to visit our schools. Do you honestly think that Africa is backward because we choose to be? Do you know what kind of financial chains we are under? Look at what's happening to Greece...They are white. Look at Argentina...They're not black. You really have no clue what you're talking about. No clue at all. 13. I pray the average black man wake up and know the blackskin is just as great as the white skin. You are what you belief you are,an average blackman need education and not gold chains that will remind them of slavery. May God help the black race. Your ideas are regurgitated without understanding. Even your use of English betrays your lack of education per se. You need to study mate, your eyes will be opened when you do. |
Emaprince:Way too much money. Sterling can't even be worth more than 25 million. The rest is just the Tax on English talent. Alexis Sanchez went for 35 million, and had league, European, and World titles. Sterling has had only good season. Firminho that has very similar output to Sterling over the last couple of years went for around 26 million sef. If I hear say my Pikin no play ball... |
UniqueGem:I'm not exactly sure what the hype about this schneirderlin dude is to be honest. Only last summer, the height of that boy's ambition was Spurs and Pochettino. And he was a benchwarmer at the Worldcup too. Sorry to piss on your chips, but I'm not quaking in my boots at all. It's not like the boy is better than Blind. |
tpiander:No I haven't Is it any good? |
MrLouisVanGaal:Go and watch the 2014 Champion's league final again. There's a clue in there as to why 2 successive managers dropped Casillas...and why Madrid are desperate to sign De Gea. |
On Oscar What with his involvement in the 2011 U20 World Cup, 2012 London Olympics, 2013 Confederations Cup and 2014 World Cup, Oscar hasn’t been afforded a prolonged summer break for over four years. |
chic2pimp:Burna dey dia na? Britico faya...Na when in rome things. But you sef know how the park dey go on a hot summer afternoon. Put my dark shades on like I cant see them...but oboy me fancy them!!! |

OMA4U:Interesting...I once tried to read 'A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man' but just couldn't get into it, due to the Author's insistence on writing in what looked like Irish-English. Same thing happened when I tried to read Irvine Welsh's 'Trainspotting' which is written entirely in Scottish-English...then again, I found it difficult watching the film as well ![]() |
A40:Yeah obviously, Bastian's main asset is his brain, and with all the CMs they have, they should be able to manage his fitness properly. |
herald9:Purple Hibiscus was a really good book. Mine Boy as well. Animal Farm is a really interesting one...I initially read the book as child, and with a child's understanding. I even watched the cartoon back in the day on Channel's TV. It was only when I got to SS2 and re-read the book, that I began to understand the allegory for the origins of communism...with Napoleon and Snowball representing the Lenin-Trotsky relationship. It was like my eyes just opened for the first time, and I read and re-read the book over and over...Farmer Jones represented Tsarist Russia. The constantly changing rules represented Lenin's sociopathic approach to leadership, and the scene at the end where you couldn't tell the pigs from the humans, in my opinion might represent Khrushev's attempt to steer the USSR away from Lenin's legacy. Boxer the horse in particular, to me represents the stupidity of the utterly indoctrinated, unquestioning pleb...and can be seen to iconize the congregation at some churches, some boko haram members, and some of the Tanoids we see in the politics section of this forum today. |
oluamid:Pardon? |
mukina2 my PM doesn't work Please send to jackbauersballs@gmail.com |
letsbet:I've read a few books, yes. These days not so much, as I'm often very busy. |
I assume that this a question you've been asked by an interviewer so I'll answer it like that: 1. Assessment: You need to do something called an RCA(Root Cause Analysis) a:Where is the pressure coming from? b:What is the cause of the pressure? c:Can this pressure be mitigated? d:What steps can be taken to mitigate this pressure? 2. Requirement Gathering: a:What materials, tools, expertise are required to mitigate this pressure? b:Where can they be found? c: What are the cost implications in terms of finances, time, or man hours? 3: Planning a: Based on the steps taken above, implement a plan to mitigate pressure b: Test/Model intended solution iteratively where possible. c: Create use case model/UML diagrams to document plans b: Create an RFC(Request for Change document) 3: Communication: a:Communicate with all stakeholders to assess their grieviances,aims/objectives, etc. b:Present documentation on how you intend to mitigate the pressure c: Manage stakeholder expectations -Under-Promise and Over-Deliver 4: Implementation. a: Implement your plan. b: Ensure stakeholder satisfaction to the best of your ability. |
letsbet:I read it as a youth. It's honestly not even that long sef. My Dad's copy comprised of 3 volumes, each roughly around the same size as a bible. The Harry Potter Volumes for instance, are much larger in scope and size, especially the arc from the Goblet of Fire to Deathly Hallows. Another lengthy contemporary Novel/Saga I can think of is Stephen King's 'the Stand'. |
