Sanprecious:First, you are correct that there are 9 states that makes up Niger Delta. But there is nothing like some occasions in Abia, Imo and Ondo being Niger Delta states. They are and would remain part and parcel of the Niger Delta thinking as long as they produce oil. What you have is that resources are allocated to each member states based on their oil production figures. For your information, Akwa Ibom is number 1 in terms of production. And Ondo produces more than any of Abia, Cross River, Edo and Imo. I know it might be difficult to believe this, but you can always do your findings. 6 Likes |

Anthone555:Hello, your part time work in Germany as well those you undertook during your internship, NYSC and after NYSC would count as long as they are paid, and fall within NOC A, B, and 0. I understand your thinking to be considering another MSc in Canada. But what I would advice is for you to start preparing for IELTS asap and think Express Entry. Have in mind that you would need to complete your MSc in Germany and evaluate same in order to have high CRS point that can fetch you ITA. And perhaps seeing through the 18 months post study visa in Germany. As going for another MSc in Canada might be costly (an exception to this is if you don't have age on your side to get FSW EE). You can avoid the international student fees as a PR because you will pay local student fees. Finally, your Express Entry application won't affect your study application in any way. Each application would be treated on it's on merit. Cheers. 1 Like |

electromagnito:Well done on this piece, op. It seems to me that the experience in Western Europe is similar for international students in terms of the struggle for jobs and integration after studies. The numerous pathways on getting PR in Canada after studies ranks second to none in the developed world. So I think people who have their private funds to study abroad with the intention of not returning immediately after their studies should look that way. I would like to message you if you don't mind. As I would like to share your study in France story on a page that is dedicated to sharing study abroad experience from people who have experienced it to people looking to experience it. If you agree to this, your post will be modified to accommodate the house style. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers. 1 Like |

wickedbandit:Hi, did they specify any period that is missing and needs to be accounted for? If yes, I would advise you account for those period on the form for easy reference while filling out your personal history and other things available on the schedule A form. Ensure the details in this new form aligns with what you have filled in before. You don't want any discrepancies between the previous submission and the new one. In the event the space in the form (which can easily be downloaded online) is not enough, you can write out additional information on A4 paper and attach - not forgetting to number appropriately. In case you have forgotten what you filled, look up canadavisa website, there is a tip there on how to retrieve such information from your CIC account. Good luck. Cheers. 4 Likes |

adeshna:Don't overwork yourself. Reference letter is only for a job you are claiming points for. Get the reference letter in the prescribed format. As for the part time job you were not paid, still put it in your personal history if it is within the last 10 years. Even if you delete it, they still have it at the back end. So be guided. |

Yellowmellow:Hello, are you claiming points for the two companies or did you work at both places at any given time? Or why exactly do you want to raise LOE to the effect? To the best of my knowledge, as much as you can get your reference letter in the format prescribed, you should be fine. As long as the job is in an eligible NOC. I don't tend to see any issue here except you want to create one. |

ImDStar:PR process duration differs from person to person. But the most important thing is to sort your IELTS and ECA and secure ITA. Because even if you get a study visa or any other one to move abroad, it will still take time to get residency which Express Entry will offer you from day 1 your application is approved. Again, you don't want to go and spend huge money on study abroad to be struggling for residency afterwards. So if you start the PR process now, there is that chance to get it sorted before the end of the year. You can start by evaluating your degree and then study to take IELTS. Cheers. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

ImDStar:Hey.... your profile will fetch you Canada PR if you dust IELTS. Because your HND will count as two or more certificates after evaluation. And you're still within the age bracket coupled with your work experience considering it is in an eligible NOC. This one will also quicken your marital transition which Europe will not offer in the short term because you can't tell how quick or when you can get residency in Europe. Ciao. 46 Likes 7 Shares |

enesty:Hello, the 468, is it with wife accompanying or just you? If it is, you should be able to get ITA anytime from now based on the recent draw cutoff if you are already in the pool. Again, having a different name on a certificate with your wife is not an issue. You should open a WES account for yourself and one for your wife. Then get your transcripts (BSc and PGD) as well as the certificates from the degrees to them. Same for your wife. For yourself, you will evaluate your BSc and PGD. Your wife tend to have age on her side that can position her to be the PA, but her education is not enough. She should try to get one of the extra certificate courses people do and get her work experience to 3 years. |

Lunah:Q1 - Yes, it is presentable as long as the jobs fall under NOC 0, A or B and 1 of the job is continuous for 1 year. Q2 - No. Express Entry can be done from anywhere in the world. Just notify IRCC of change in address once you move to Germany. Between, if you have started the process, why would you want to move to Germany for studies again that will cost you some bucks? Q3 - As long as the marriage took place after you submitted your application, no stress. I hope you find this helpful. |

Coronabirus:People like you usually turn logic on it's head. Perhaps buoyed by the love of man of power rather than the love of country. Since you want to play the ostrich by burying your head in the sand and probably can't see, I will point out the lopsided appointments been talked about. Economic power (The Ministry, Departments and Agencies that generate and coordinate the chunk of money for government). * Minister of Finance * Group Managing Director NNPC * Managing Director NPA (Nigerian Ports Authority) * Comptroller General Nigeria Customs Service * Chairman Federal Inland Revenue Service Security Appointments (People responsible for maintaining internal and protecting territorial control of the nation) * National Security Adviser * Minister of Defence * Chief of Army Staff * Chief of Air Staff * Director General State Security Service * Inspector General of Police * DG National Intelligence Agency * DG Defense Intelligence Agency * Commandant Civil Defence Corps * Comptroller General Nigeria Immigration Service * (I left out Chief of Defense Staff and Chief of Naval Staff not out of mischief but they are the only two from the SW and SS respectively in the security circles). The above appointments are held by Northerners. And this is not all the MDA they lead. DPR, PTDF, TETFUND, NUC, PEF, and many numerous others are led by people from Buhari's region. I have only listed these ones because they are the key establishments that powers and run the country. You can continue to follow in Femi Adesina's usual show of shame by showing lists of many Agencies and Departments of Government headed by the South West, South East and South South all you care, but don't expect people like me to buy into your logic. If you have anything contrary to what I have written above, I will be looking forward to read from you. Otherwise, Ciao. 5 Likes |

isaacola57:Produced here is my take on IELTS CBT and PBT. I wrote it in part 9 of the EE thread. Read below. This is really depending on how you adapt to new ideas/change. Many dread CBT for the listening part, but I can tell you there is not much typing to be done during the listening test as it is mainly section 1 and 4 that requires typing mostly. Other sections are usually MCQs that just require clicking, and other part just dragging answers. That said, you are still given pencil and paper for your use if you think it is necessary. In my view, I will suggest you use the pencil to write your answers to section 4 only because that part of the recording is usually fast and a bit tricky in most cases. So writing on paper first and transferring to the screen would allow you follow the conversation to a great extent. On the reading part, CBT is more convenient in my view as you don't need to be turning pages of papers back and forth. The question is beside the passage. And you can use copy and paste from the question to the answer where necessary. Running your eyes through the screen would also be faster than doing same on paper I believe. Scheming things. For writing, this is the game changer for me in IELTS CBT. Some of the reasons for this include: the system shows you the number of words you have written, you can easily cut, backspace or realign your writing without the burden of using eraser like in the PBT therefore saving you time. Typing is also much faster than writing manually which in turn will give you more time to review your work for any possible error. The speaking test is the same for CBT and PBT. An interview session with an examiner. Overall, the beauty of CBT for me is the 7 days turnaround time for result to be released. The 13 days waiting for PBT is hell given the high stake of the test. You don't want to keep playing the recording of the listening test in your head for 13 days and wondering if you got a spelling right or if you wrote plural when it was supposed to be singular. But in all, you still have to ask yourself if you are ready to adapt to change and test the waters of CBT. PS: Passing IELTS is first a thing of the mind. Prepare well, understand the tricks, especially in writing and speaking; relax and don't be anxious in the test hall. You will not be caught in the web of taking the test more than once. Cheers. 3 Likes 2 Shares
