Please I just want to ask if there are any french language App(s) that can be recommended for learning as per JCC level. Thanks in advance. Maybe try Duolingo...but you'll need to add other resources to effectively study for the exam |

If you're asking if the exam has 4 parts like IELTS, then yes, both exams have 4 parts. Since you're in Abia, AF Port Harcourt is probably the nearest centre to you. Nasachuky: Hello everyone Is the TEF exam same with IELTS LRSW? I stay in Abia, is there any test center in the south east? |

honeycandy: Good evening everyone. I’m new here and I just started the process. Currently, WES has sent my certificate and transcripts to my school for verification. UNN . I’m currently trying to pay for verification, I keep getting a message that the organization’s email cannot be verified. Has anyone experienced this? Please assist. Thank you Use your email address for the organization's email address field. See the quote below from einsteino. It's a bit dated but worked when I did my ECA with WES Note: 123456 as used here is a dummy reference number i have chosen, endeavour to replace it with your actual WES reference no
log on to https://alumni.unn.edu.ng/iverification the landing page should display the following:
Organization Email Address: Type your own email address here even though it seems like it should be that of WES. The system was designed for organizations to order the verification themselves but we both know if you wait for WES to come do that for you, you go old.
[Checkbox] No, I have never made a verification request before.(as a first timer, you should tick this)
Institution/Organization: World Education Services (Reference No: 123456) Address Reference No: 123456) 2 Carlton St, Toronto, Ontario City: Toronto Continent: North America Country: Canada Phone:
click on "CREATE" ------------------------------------------ a new page would load
click on "Verify new record" then select "Transcript/DOB" then click "PROCEED" -------------------------------------------- you would be redirected to a page where you would see: fill in your details in the following
Student Verification Category: Matriculation number: First name: Surname: Email: your email not WES Department: Transcript Serial ID: fill in your Matriculation number here [Checkbox] Do you wish to defer payment to the alumnus? (leave this unchecked)
click "CONTINUE" --------------------------------------------
you would be redirected to a page where you would see a list of payment options, select the one you prefer and complete payment. after that, you should receive a payment confirmation. You would just have to wait for UNN to send the verification after that, unfortunately, UNN wouldnt even notify you when they send the verification. So if WES doesnt update your status to verification received within say 10working days after paying for the verification, send someone in UNN to help you check the progress. |

First off, congratulations on your IELTS results. For your industrial training experience, I don't think it will fly if it was gotten before graduation i.e before getting your bachelors degree. Then, for your experience as a research assistant, the hours worked are less than 30 which means it won't fly as full time experience. Therefore, you can only claim 6 months for the 20hr/wk role(not sure what you can claim for the 10hr/wk role) Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud...let others weigh in. Teamo2: Just had the courage to check my IELTS result and it could have been worse but not what I expected. First time LRWS 8,7.5,7,7.
ECA not yet ready, Masters.
Planned on claiming just one year because my work experience is a bit complicated but that will leave my score too low at 444.
Want to confirm if my work experience can go like this: Paid Industrial training(NOC 2282, 40hrs/wk): 6months, reference letter can easily be gotten.
NYSC(NOC 4031, 40hrs/wk): 11/12months, reference letter not available but plan on writing it myself and notarize it with bank statement to support my claim.
Retail sale supervisor (NOC 6621, 50hrs/wk, paid family business ): 13 months, reference letter available, paid in cash.
Research assistant, (NOC 4012): September 2017 - December 2017 (20hrs/wk) January 2018 - April 2018 (20hrs/wk) September 2018 - December 2018 (20hrs/wk) January 2019 - current (Spring semester)(10hrs/wk)
I believe i should be able to use all this to claim 3yrs of work experience right? |

The bolded is not true. For the essay, I wrote at least 300 words and I got a 7.5 in writing. I also remember Tojued saying she wrote like 500 words and she got an 8 or 8.5...can't remember exactly jazzy: Congrats to the IELTS clinchers. To the rest please don't give up. Request for EOR, especially on your writing, it may just turn out successful. I'm writing my second IELTS tomorrow and i have prepped and prayed. I leave this one to God.
But please is this really true? the 250+10 explanation someone gave above? That's quite unfair, it certainly means that with every paragraph written, one has to pause and count. Oh well. #Wemove.. I ll be back with my testimony on the 19th God willing.. |

Mamaroon: Merci mes amis !
Enfin...c'est fini
CE - was a repetition of my NOV exam ! I think they recyle this stuff sometimes...then again they are probably not expecting repeat customers like me !
CO.....was ok...audio quality was good....tried to focus on messages...they said they will have headsets when they move to the new place in ikoyi
EE - write your opinion on "tourism makes all countries similar" (letter) my crammed intro and conclusion worked ...une biche ran into a store chased by a group. ..the clients decided to shelter it...complete the story (fait divers)...I didn't know what biche was.....hmmm...i rambled
EO - we discussed afterwards and ppl had different ones. Mine was to call and ask questions about a new restaurant where you eat meals blindfolded....then section B I had to convince the examiner to join a gym...she had all the excuses in the world...even told me she has heart problems.....imagine! I didn't know the words for treadmill but I waffled.
Thanks for all your encouragement and tips guys !
Meanwhile etrange is right about the space between words and exclamation and question marks....noticed it in the last section of CO
April, June...peeps...Courage ! Congratulations in advance Mamaroon! Eagerly waiting for your result It's like I'm the one that wrote the exam sef |

shygunXs: How long did it take you to start preparing for and completed TEF exams? Please see my previous post below. njbybrthnly: @Scard
I made the decision to take the TEF exam late March and did it in October so I guess I studied french actively for 6 months. I had a private tutor too for the first 6 weeks or so but I noticed I was unconsciously only studying french when I was with him.
Bellerin has pretty much said it all but I just want to add that you shouldn't put a limit to the number of hours you study french...it's a language not a course. Try to immerse yourself in it...if you are watching TV it should be a french channel or watch french movies, if you are listening to the radio, listen to french stations and podcasts, if you are surfing the Internet, visit french websites and join french groups on social media. You can even start speaking french to your close friends and family (the ones that know of your plans anyway )- I speak french to my kids all the time - I believe this will help you to develop a natural rhythm and flow. |

Please go through the thread. Many people have given their two cents on this topic. Like your elder sister, some people here are learning French from scratch to write the exam. Going through the thread may seem daunting but it's a little thing to do in comparison to actually studying french. benatokwu: Hello house,
Please my Elder sister has been thinking of whether she should enroll for TEF so as to boost her Crs score but, the issue of concern has been the possibility of passing the test considering the fact that she has zero knowledge about French..please someone help.Reply needed ASAP. |
