the man was then admiring the other lady in front of his gf which the gf didn't find funny and kinda confronted him...
then both of them went and met the lady and exchanged pleasantries ...

You are right..... What people don't understand is that in as much as we contributed nothing to our being saved by Christ, we must contribute to maintaining this salvation brought to us...... We are to always sanctify ourselves by examining our lives from time to time, then whenever we go wrong (cos that's bound to happen as we are still humans with weak flesh) we then ask for forgiveness and that's where this abundant grace of Christ comes to play, it is always there for us to enable us reattach ourselves to Christ and to keep fighting the good fight till our time is over....... We can't just fold our hands and do nothing cos we've been saved, we must do our part to see that this salvation does not go to waste and this is only possible cos his grace is abundant and sufficient for us.

God forbid......... We make use of the grace of God given to us in abundance to work out our salvation daily by being faithful to God in every sense of the word...... In all honesty I think your husband overreacted. His action goes to show that he is intolerant and lacks understanding. That means if you do something more serious than this he wouldn't hesitate to divorce you.

Some men would even laugh over it and forget about it as if nothing happened since they have no reason to doubt their wife but the reverse is the case as far as your husband is concerned.

I just hope your husband isn't the unforgiving type otherwise you will have to work your buts out pleading for one offence for several years which isn't cool at all.
