Anyways, I'm waiting for gcms notes to arrive so I'll figure out the specific reason for the refusal, will re-apply once I resolve am. I've had my school defer my admission to Fall 2022, hopefully that'll give me enough time to get it right. Laslas may we all win. |

Chipo14: Congratulations to all PPR recipients and may it end in praise for all those still waiting.
You all remember I got my PPR in August and by then my DLI had withdrawn me from the program. All effort to get back in has been futile. I decided to move on and apply for the next intake (winter 2022) only to be told that it's already closed and I should be on the look out for May 2022. So for now I have 9 months to wait. Gurus in the house, I hope this does not affect my visa in any negative way? Thank you all Relax 8 months ain't that long, @Blavkamann had a similar long waiting period, he's in Quebec now chilling. Just find something productive to keep yaself busy, say like an IT skill. You never know what will come in handy |

Ribig5: This one doesn't really need advice from here only because every school has their procedure and everyone here is going to different school. So I suggest you mail your admissions office and explain to them your situation and ask them the best time to differ which I am sure must also be on their newly admitted students page on their website.
Like my school always do online webinar to update us (Bishops University, Quebec) and they are aware of our visa delays and challenges. In that regards they have emailed us and asked us to send our letter showing we have already applied for study permit and CAQ approval letter(applicable to Quebec only). They made all fall courses to be in person and online so that those without study permit and do not want to differ the admission can start online until they get study permits. I have enrolled for online courses already. If there is any further delay on SP approval, i will kick start lectures with them by 8th September 2021. They have sent us lecture timetable and schedules already.
Please contact your admission office for further clearance. Don't loose your fund by mistake. Take action, No time. It shall all end in praise. thanks See my school mate. Bishop's University peeps don plenty for here. Sent you a mail; other peeps headed to Bishop's should holla as well let's link up. |

Good day all, I've been trying to book appointment for biometrics via the online link since yesterday, I keep getting an error message when I try to login, it says "username or password are incorrect" and sometimes it says "the verification words are incorrect" I'm sure I got all the inputs correct, don't know if I'm doing something else wrong. Is there an alternative way for booking, how did y'ull cross this stage? |

Good day all, for those looking to make international payments exceeding $100. I just successfully completed one; what I did was to get my sponsor to request for a Mastercard for her USD dorm. account, next was to fund the account, and I made the payment using the card. The rate I got was 1usd to 1.232cad. That's about 393.57naira to 1cad if you do the conversion. This is way better than flutterwave's rate wey wan kill person. Goodluck fellas. |

Good day all. For those headed to Québec, you don't need to physically courier your documents when applying for CAQ. Save that courier fee. You can do online submission via the Arima platform. The procedure for that is written on the CAQ application form. Arima website is in French so you Google Chrome to access it, that way u can use chrome's translator to get the entire page to English. Again the admission letter to use for CAQ application is the one that bears the program's start and end date, program type(full/part-time) and cost estimate. The whole process from application to CAQ issuance took about 4 weeks. Goodluck to y'ull. |

Quick one for the gurus in the house.
I'm yet to apply for visa cos I'm waiting for CAQ to drop. I'm thinking to book for upfront medicals, but it won't be convenient for me to make the trip to Lagos twice cos of my work. Dont know if it's possible to get biometrics done too same time. Is there anything like upfront biometrics?

meemeeibrahim22: My PPR is here After sending mails to Lagos email yesterday I got a PPR few hours from Lagos immigration.
Please is it compulsory submit to Lagos vfs or I can submit to Abj please ? Congrats bro, timeline for Lagos and Abuja are approximately 1month and 10days respectively. So how much time you have left to travel should guide your decision. Also bear in mind there's transmission fee to be paid should you decide to send to Abuja. |

Admission just dropped for PGC in Brewing Science, Bishop's University Quebec. For those headed to or already in Quebec, how did you go about processing CAQ. Also do I have to get CAQ before applying for Visa, or I should go ahead and apply for visa while waiting for CAQ to drop. |

Just in-case you want to retrieve the funds in your blocked account (FINTIBA), it’s very easy. I recently got my funds back in just over a week after I contacted FINTIBA saying I was withdrawing my visa application. It’s not difficult like some claim.
I can share the process if anyone is interested. Bless Greetings to everyone. How did you go about this @ Ayobami; which document did you upload to fintiba? |

Stiflersammy: I called them, they said they will get back to me when they start issuing AD. I wanted to vex but I calm down and cut the call. I keep thinking of placards, and maybe some sitting down, something subtle. Some might say it's extreme, but questions need to be asked, that's inevitable if we must move forward. Or if someone has a better way to address this problem, he/she should say so. Emails and calls ain't obviously working. As for waiting, we've been waiting for almost a year, nothing's changed. Things rather got worse |

Crownxballer: Hello guys,
I received a letter of admission to study toxicology in Potsdam university and I was asked to send a letter of acceptance which I have done but it has not been acknowledged. The deadline for the submission of the letter is on the 7th of this month. Should I be worried about the non-acknowledgement? Your prompt response will be highly appreciated as I'm getting worried.
Also, if you also got an admission in the school, I'd like to link up with you. I was asked to send same letter of acceptance. How did you send yours, was it electronically or did you DHL it? |
