I find it weird that everyone is onto the personality, whereabout, and now ethnicity of men who raped the poor girl, rather than the state of the poor girl herself.

Na wa o.

She's an average beauty. There's no "WOW' about her really, but she's looking much better in these photos than how she looked at MBGN.
Ok off topic - we have to talk about your hair regimen. It looks nice, share some secrets.

With all of our problems, he's dashing out money to countries that (in all probability) don't like Nigeria or Nigerians.

For real - Miss Adamawa (Nwando Ebeledike) would have made a FAR better miss universe contestant than Sophie Jamal. I guess everyone was caught up in the hype of the moment:

I would like to hear more from Hausas in particular if possible. Other Fulanis are welcome.

Tweety121:
I can see historical reasons why there was a hierarchy, as Araboy says, the fact that Fulani warriors brought Islam to Hausas and became elites in the North is a big deal.

But today Hausas and Fulanis have inter-married so much and share so much that it's hard to know who is a 'pure' Fulani, and to the rest of the world we are one anyway.

However, I am very proud to be Fulani because we have a beautiful culture, and I tend to admire my Fulani heritage more than my Hausa heritage
Thanks for the reply.

Let me also ask - do you believe that this hierarchy extends to other ethnic groups in Nigeria? i.e. Do Fulanis generally believe themselves to be somewhat superior to other Nigerians?

Yeah there is a hierarchy, although it's not always obvious
undecided

Do you believe in this hierarchy?
CultureRe: Question To The Fulani Folks by Nnenna1(f): 6:45pm On Aug 14, 2011
I've been meaning to ask -

Do Fulanis look down on Hausas? I'm getting the impression that there's a hierarchy in this relationship. Hausas and Fulanis (or those in the know) - please comment.

@Tweety121 - I've been to your blog and some of the things you write lead me to believe that this element exists in the relation between Fulanis and Hausas.

of course am sure you have one of those lekpa sibblings that eat triple portion yet remain like broom stick while you have those trying to be on diet yet kep expanding undecided undecided

but more excercise and less carbohydrate is good for loosing weight and your health too cus excess is stored as fat and broken down when needed .

as for cholesterol the negative impact  is seen mostly mostly in elderly people. 45 years up.

are you obese?
Why do you keep asking about my weight? Well I'm thin (I did lose about 15lbs years ago though) but this video had me thinking of a couple of things - like why it's almost inevitable for older people (particularly women) to gain weight (even when science supports the theory that weight loss is a natural symptom of aging).

Excess accumulation of carbohydrates over the years? I don't know - the same guy also has a long hour lecture on youtube that I watched out of boredom yesterday. He made a point about how a significant amount of people who are malnourished (i.e. on a semi-starvation diet) due to poverty are also obese.

Also remember some sort of theory about how humans are not evolved enough to metabolize carbohydrates since we were meat eaters (i.e. hunter-gatherers) for much of man's existence.

Anyways this is just a random topic I thought was interesting.
