The disciples didn't ask Jesus any question. They made an assertion that '...if the case of a man with his wife is so, then it's better not to marry." Where's the question here, hypocrite?

Jesus immediately lectured them knowing that abstaining from marriage is good but requires a lot of self control. Hence, he made them know that ability to comply with such assertion varies. There are those who can naturally stay without marrying. There are those who have been castrated and therefore cannot marry.
