1. are u sexually involved with ur bf? if YES, God definitely does not want you in such a relationship.

2. you suddenly doubt God because what u heard does not sound appeasing. Think twice, because the counsels of God are usually against human will and volition. If she said God approves of ur rel, would u have believed that she heard from God? many times God's answers are usually not as we perceive or expect.

3. She may or may not have heard from God, but `the question is, why are u personally not hearing from God? is this because of the existent of a personal sin? like sex? Think about it.

4. Many times God asks or lays it in our hearts to let go of pleasurable things so as to inherit a better covenant with Him. The case of Daniel and the kings abominable meal, the widow and her last meal and many others.
There is only one sin . . . .it is called disobedience. If God has asked you to let go please do so. . .and tell the gentle man what the situation is. He will understand.

You don't need to be an atheist to see through this scam.  Just a bit of critical thinking skills.  It is unfortunate that grown-up adults will swallow any miracle claim no matter how ridiculous in as much as it helps to validate their religious beliefs.  I wonder what their reaction will be if later they hear that the woman is a muslim, or Guru Marahaji for example.   I bet, then, they will then scrutinise the issue more critically.  It is interesting how miracle claims are accepted without question when they come from the person's strand of a particular religion, but rejected when they come from another religion or even a diferent strand of the same religion!

The point u miss is that . . . . .you could see this from any perspective u choose. . .but that does not deny the reality.
Jesus performed miracles and people came up with loads of "critical analyses" to debunk or discredit the miracle, some said He had a demonic spirit and others said He is a reincarnated prophet. . .but the truth remains that He healed those whom He healed.

The same applies to the OP story. what u make of it is your business . . .but to make silly assertions to discredit religion because of ur unbelief is the height of ignorance and illiteracy.

erm. . .who is "we"? God consists of three persons and this is illustrated all through the scriptures.

What nuclearboy says about the Holy Spirit being capable of filling people while remaining a person is logical possible. But the Bible goes beyond that. We see the Holy Spirit being "received" into someone, "overshadowing" a woman, etc. Acts 10:38 hardly leaves room for doubt: anointing with Holy Spirit and power. Can the Father anoint someone with The Son and power? No, because the Son is a person. On the other hand, the verses personifying the Holy Spirit do not on their own prove anything since wisdom, sin, death and grace are personified in the Bible. And I have read Bible scholars who suggest that John's personification of the Holy Spirit was merely in conformity with grammatical rules.

Jesus also said that He and the father will dwell in whosoever believes/loves Him (John 14:23) does that make Jesus a mere force?

Personally, I have zero expertise on the holy spirit. But I am fairly familiar with the Bible and I know its position weigh more in the direction of the Holy Spirit being God's active force than being a person. We also know  from the writings of Justin Martyr, Hyppolytus and the others that the early church believed  the Holy Spirit to be God's active force. The personal Holy Spirit became official and everyone switched over when the Trinity was invented at a council meeting.

There are verses which clearly describe the holy spirit as an inanimate something, a thing, a force. Trinitarians gloss over them. There are verses, too, which appear to ascribe personality to the Holy Spirit. Unitarian Christians, of course, have ways of explaining these away. And so the divide goes on . . . 

If u cannot make sense of my primordial response to you. . .then I cant help further. The point is that Christ also functions as a force when He chooses to, does that stop him from being a person?

As for the whole 'reverse' speech thing, I don't buy it. We've heard different stories about playing tapes in reverse and hearing other things and I find it dubious.


As far as I'm concerned, this is on the same level as seeing the face of Jesus on a biscuit or seeing elephants in the clouds. I doubt it's reliability and it has not received scientific approval by linguistics experts, so with due respect noetic16, this isn't 'researched reality'.

I do have a question for Ola though - you and the author (by emphasising on Hussein) have claimed Obama is a Muslim. Can you clarify whether he is a Muslim or a Satan worshipper or both?
