I have never said anything about this mosgoon of a guy. So let me just quickly say that I am impressed at the level with which he holds himself back from giving it back to people inspite of all the attacks. That's an indication of a great EQ.

To those attacking him, please calm down. You may think that it is wrong of him to be harping his accomplishments. You may think that it is a shortcoming on his part. You also need to realise that you have a shortcoming as well. So learn to accommodate those of others. Even if he has that shortcoming, I still believe Mosgoon is a nice guy. I recall that he offered to accommodate someone in a hotel just before the interview. What about LOMS, which he bought for over over #100,000 or so? He was still willing to share. Most of you attacking him cannot do that. ( For you info, I don't need the LOMS, as it is not my area of expertise, before some of you will start saying I am saying all these cos of it). In fact, I can perceive that he is a nice guy who is ready to share, both his knowledge and material resources. So I think his good attributes are more than his perceived shortcomings

Well, for you Mosgoon, I know you are a young guy, so you may not have had a lot of experiences in life. My mum always tells me that if you detect that the yam you planted is going to yield bountifully, as would be indicated by the big tearings on the ground, you use sand to cover those tearings. She also told me that most people don't want their neighbour's goat to give birth to more than one kid at a time. I am sure you can deduce what those mean.

I once had this attribute of displaying my knowledge to whoever cared to listen. But this earned me a lot of enemies. In fact, on two occasions, if not for the fact that I averted the situation, I would have engaged in serious fights. So I have learnt to speak only when it's necessary and to the right audience.

My point is, humans are wicked. Learn to speak only when it's necessary and use wisdom. For example, instead of saying "when I was at Mck, we used to feed on estimation......", you could say "some organisations like Mck feed on estimation....". Guy be wise. Humans are wicked.

I beg to differ on this. The fact that the GMD's son went through the recruitment process does not substantiate the transparency of the process. For starters, i could guess you have no concrete evidence of the parameters that were used to select candidates for the CBT exam other than the ones published. For all you know, all the influences had all been in the process from the start. Sometime on this thread, someone stated that even before the recruitment was advertised, a friend of his was told to submit his CV by his uncle. That guy could have as well had his interview in the towers as well and would also probably be given his APL. In that light can you say the recruitment had no external influences?
There may probably be some persons reading this thread and having a good laugh because their APL is already secured.

I just don't think you can assert it is a transparent process when you don't even know what criteria was used for selection. Heck, no one can even explain the erratic reimbursement of candidates who attended the interview.

I am not a pessimist by the way. i have gone through several federal government recruitment processes to understand that it is hardly transparent.

Bro you're very right. I just a call from a friend now that some guys got their letters today via community slots ( if you like don't believe me). Guys the APLs are ready. A lot of things are going behind the scene. We should just pray that God should favour us.

What kind of error do dey want guard against? Is it error due to parallax? This doesn't make sense to me cos the likelihood of they making errors paying would be lower if they pay date by date. They are more likely to make errors with what they are doing now, picking some people from a particular date and paying them and then pay the others later.

However, if you have not been alerted with T.P, there is 80% possibility that you are among the successful applicants.

Successful candidates will not be alerted with T.P as same will be paid together with training allowance and mobilization fee at the end of the recruitment training for successful candidates.
