Very unlikely. Stalling the release of APL (if it had been ready), would imply shifting the resumption date further. This further presupposes that APLs will be reprinted. Would Nnpc be that inept? So I don't think it had been ready in the first place or it's ready but the date is still in the future.

To all EHs, please be informed that the rumors of the cancellation of the EH process has really gained ground. Let's come together and brainstorm on how to stop this injustice. Those guys can't just play with us as if we are primary school pupils. The earlier the better.

What brazen injustice! Imagine using people who got in via "long legs" to fill in all EH cadres, from senior officers to managerial positions. It just sounds so annoying.

It would be highly unfair and unprofessional for NNPC to just wake up and decide to scrap off the EH recruitment, just because one GMD comes in who does not fancy the EH coming in. Where was he when the decision to employ EH was made? Where was he when the EH were invited to travel long distances to Abuja, risking their lives, to attend the interview at Abuja.

If the info to cancell the EH is really true, it just shows that the corporation is disorganized. It indicates that things are not done in unison - no team work, as someone can just do things that pleases him. And I can assure NNPC that they will keep getting chains of court cases, cos I know some EHs will not just sit back and allow this injustice be done on them.

And by the way, what will happen to the vacuum that will be created by those contract staff who will take the EH positions?

It will be utter injustice and all EH should not just sit back and allow this to happen.

of the GTs' APL. I am happy for them. However, No one, especially those who have sure sources, seem to be concerned about finding out the reason for the delay of the EHs' APL.

Thank God Jarus has finally said something.... And I'm happy to see everybody singing with one voice and going the same direction... When Danwani200 announced it 2 weeks ago and mistakenly attached specific dates, I was amongst the first to try shut him up when I told him to say no more... Coz I made the same mistakes and knew what followed when it eventually didn't materialise. Aside from my own experience on this thread after my information was passed, I watched how The MIB's were so ready to devour Danwani that he kept on begging for Jarus Or Panelyst to come online and say something.. It really hurts that genuine people like some of us could get true infos from people we claimed were staffs of the corporation we seek employment into and we come here and drop the info exactly as we were told and even with the dates we were told and when we wait together and nothing happens on those said dates, majority of the thread who were the same people earnestly seeking for info will pounce on you.. It hurts but I'm glad dat Danwani has been vindicated bcoz even though I got exactly the same message from my source last 2 weeks, I refused saying anything but he was the one who still took the risk to say something.. I was particularly glad when not much people attacked him at the end of last week. The wait is ALMOST over (for GT'S), so I want to use this medium to thank every genuine member of this thread who at one time or another passed a legitimate info as he or she got it during this tedious wait of ours, and was abused and criticized for various reasons known to the abusers, you are the unsung heroes.. Your infos kept the dream alive.. No official info has been passed by NNPC since the interview but it's these infos FROM fellow applicants that kept the thread still hoping and made us know that at least the recruitment was still on.. Even when the rumour of cancellation was at a boiling point last year, we (the abused info givers) were here to make the necessary contacts and calls to quash the rumours and calm the atmosphere in the thread. We will not be forgotten.. Based on the latest info (which regards numbers) , I think many of us will get the apl from this thread.. I just can't wait to meet you all in Abuja where we shall hangout and reveal our monikers over chilled drinks...please do well to share your success story as they come, don't recieve ur own and immediately delete ur Nairaland profile and make us feel as if nobody here made it...... It seems some inside persons here are more informed than the GGM Public Affairs. His statements are more generic than specific. At least he didnt talk about any court case but opined that it will be concluded with transparency (hopefully).

It is not impossible that he is not fully aware of the state of things as at now.

I went through the 2012 recruitment thread on naijahotjobs some time ago and saw that even as at the time people had already started collecting letters and sharing testimonies, someone still came out to say he spoke to a top source at human resources who told him no apl had been released.

Lesson: We will always get contradicting sources here.....for now let's take comfort in the GMD's promise of Soon. If the soon is not today, then it gets closer as tomorrow comes.

The 2012 hopefuls had to wait for a year after interview but for those who got employed, the emotional stress is all in the past. When you see your apl, the feelings you have now will be like a teardrop lost in an ocean. Stay hopeful!!!

Even Balher who is close to the GMD's son and PA, the only tangible info he can give are pictures of weddings and dinner. If there will not be APL till May 2020 due to whatever reason you mentioned, how come your friend got his APL since November? Where will he be working since Nnpc still has redundant staff that they want to place first?

ok, if not agreed my info, try confirm it from Top management. then come here, this is not first time it happened in nnpc, 2012 was cancelled and there was no official press statements , but 4 2019 it is still alive untill February 2020. for final decision.

note: no official statements will be made if cancelled, instead nnpc will place new advert.

Oga abeg I have one question for you and please say the truth and nothing but the truth. Did you apply for this ongoing recruitment?

I know I said I won’t post again but I need to clear some things:

First things First, I don’t talk anyhow and I’m not hear to spread bad news. I just give information as I hear.

Secondly I applied for the recruitment as well so obviously I want this to go well. I’m not happy when I heard all this rumors but I felt it right to say.

Thirdly, my sources are legit and believe me they would know. What they don’t know, they tell me they don’t know. It’s not just one source but at least 3 who I normally feed from so I can get a balanced view of everything.

So the GT process is far ahead. I spoke to another source who said the EH hasn’t been cancelled (remember I said it was a rumor?) BUT IT DEFINITELY WILL NOT COME WITH THE GT.

Once the GT has been concluded then they will talk about the EH and how to move forward.

I am not in any way discrediting your source. But why conclude the GT first before talking about how to move forward with the EH? GTs and EHs wrote tests together. GTs and EHs did interviews together. So why the discrepancy now that it's time for notification?

Apparently, the main issue was really the EH. there was no even spread between the states. While GT's had equitable distribution between States, EH was more lopsided towards a particular zone in the South. Then to make matters worse, you had cases of an Amaka or Solape claiming state of origin Kaduna. Little issues like that held it up. I do know HR has the list as cleaned up. it's now just a matter of the top giving instructions to send out the notifications.

At 10:19 pm on October 15, 2019, you gave this response to one olaNL when he asked if all the issues had been resolved. From this your response, one can deduce that it had been resolved ( balher's most recent post shows it was resolved in October).

Now, you are saying that you're hearing that the EH process has been cancelled. My question for you is: Is it the same source that is giving you these contradictory information? Or did they later cancel a part (for EH) of the already cleaned up list that was with HR?
