DonMustafa: How about someone like Akinwumi Adesina? Must nepotism be number 1 in Nigeria?
Dr Akinwumi Adesina is a proven administrator. He would do better than all those people listed up there
Since we are listing profiles here, let me drop the profile of Akinwumi Adesina for those who do not know
* Akinwumi Adesina is the President of the African Development Bank
* He was Vice President of Policy and Partnerships for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA)
* He attended a village school in Oyo and went ahead to graduate with a Bachelors in Agricultural Economics with First Class Honors from the University of Ife, Nigeria (1981) (Note: A first class from OAU is no joke)
* He was the first student to be awarded this a first class in that department in OAU
* He has his masters from Purdue University in Indiana
* He has a PhD (Agricultural Economics) in 1988 from Purdue where he won the Outstanding PhD Thesis for his research work.
* He worked at the Rockefeller Foundation since winning a fellowship from the Foundation as a senior scientist
* His short time as Minister of Agriculture in Nigeria created the agricultural revolution we are enjoying today.
* He is the current President of the African Development Bank
I am tired of typing. So he should resign his position as President of ADB just to be chief of staff to the president ? Haba I don't think its such a wise decision o |

What is it used for? fact is that you can barely use the money for anything now, reason is that where do we buy supplied from ? Nigeria on its own doesn't produce anything, we lie basically on importation. Now if we want to buy supplies who do we go to ? Most nations have been badly hit with the virus and are battling to contain it, they are on lock down and are running low on supplies, so do you expect them to sell the little they are managing ? No!!! Even if there are countries willing to sell, do you think other countries wouldn't be ahead booking out all? So my brother at this point we just need divine help as a country. |

I mean adding this to why someone will report the victim the so called yahoo boys may mean that they are being sheild inside that place by some of those who reported them and they are pulling heavy dirty jobs for the ogas. So many backstabbing from the force these days. Just as the case of that kidnapper, ndume settling army officer. Since that time, the story is not consistent again. Now wonder why bokoharam is still getting bolder daily and shakau still making videos up and down. Just imagine when they claimed they arrested the initiator of viral videos of the woman that said police officer killed, kidnapped doctor in kaduna, is the scenerio not paying similar thing with this woman? But funny enough, those who always release bokoharam propaganda videos has never been caught for once. Sabotaging everywhere just for personal gains. Yahoo boys found their way to villa to kill her? I weak...... She doesn't live in the villa but in Lokogoma a suburb in Abuja, you need to read the story properly. |

Rather sad I must say, this guys program was one of the reasons I watched Kakaaki. Its truly sad that this government can't take criticism. The feel threatened any time some one criticises them, not knowing that criticisms are only meant to make you improve. This guy would have been one of the big names on TV if he hadn't been pursued by the government. Take for instance, you go out and the first person you meet on the road tells you that the trouser you are wearing isn't good but you ignore and keep going, you meet another person and he tells you the same things, you meet 5 more people and they all tell you the same thing. What are you now supposed to do ? Isn't it to actually take a proper look at the trouser and make amends or simply have one of the people you met to tell you what's wrong with it so you can make amends ?
To me I believe that our biggest problem in this country is religion, if we can all agree to ban religion for one year and make a reviewed constitution our new religion, just for a year you'll see how we'll almost be competing with the world power. |

yemiyemi: Crime in Nigeria are perpetrated by Nigerians including Fulani, Yoruba, Ibo and other tribes....Amotekun is a proactive response to addressing those crimes.....so, stop ascribing crime to only the Fulanis though....
By all standard, Jagaban is a leader that any tribe in Nigeria could be proud of....... What good has this so called "leader" brought ? Is the westerner region more developed ? Are they having a different economy from the one every other Nigerian has ? What exactly should we emulate from this "leader"? Or the one who will go to any extent to make sure he wins and election whether the people like it or not ? Please enlighten me. Leader indeed. Yes crime is perpetrated by all tribes but when we know in particlar a set of people who are determined to continue killing and we know them what do we do, outsiders coming to kill you people and you have nothing to say? But when on issues of other state he is quick to address the people. Amotekun is still illegal and that what the federal government wants but your so called leader won't interfere. We need to go beyond these so called people using us at their own will. Look at how fast other countries whom we go independence before are moving at the pace of light. But here we are, killings, suffering, poverty and you are still supporting a man who has done nothing but steal our future. Posterity will judge us all. |

ogunsbanjul: So sorry dear, Nigeria is not where TEST RUNNING is done like as if you are testing "nuclear weapon" Nigeria is a country where those who understand and highly knowlegeable take part in the governance and not where looters(no tribe is exempted) are been celebrated and praised as it done in some quarters but where those who believe being in government should not be seen as opportunity to amass the wealth of the nation but privilege to serve or show case your God given ability to rule and your wealth of knowledge to move the nation forward. Nigeria is a country where God almighty is served, believed and center of attraction to the world like America. Governing Nigeria should not be about the tribe you come from or group the group you belong to rather about those who have the fear of God and believe in His supremacy. Weather Ibo, Yoruba, Ijaw, Fulani,Hausa, Kanuri, Nupe etc Nigeria belongs to all of us and can be ruled by any tribe. Please let us join hands together as family because we are nothing but pencil in the hands of our creator who can call us home at any time. God bless Nigeria and all of us But when a set of people have decided that its their birthright to rule but still we see no improvement what do we do, keep allowing them jeopardize the lives of others? Honestly its crazy |
