Ikpeazukerosene:
You are an Igbo man. Igbos should not open mouth to talk when Lagos is being discussed. You know why? Go to Abia and see what your Governor Ikpeazu is doing.

Carry your unsolicited opinions on your head like gala and go donate it to the SE since you guys are incapable of electing sensible leaders.
I am really saddened by this comment, it isn't just about Lagos but about the whole country, my problem is you supporting Tinubu knowing fully well he hasn't done well and has been stealing seriously from you. Its a shame, all I want is a better Nigeria, but if it isn't possible help us agitate for Biafra so we can leave you alone and face our problems since you're allergic to growth and development. Stop supporting people who don't mean well for you.
I pray God delivers us from this mentality of supporting criminals in this country.

The funds available to run Lagos is not even up to the annual budget of NYPD. Lagos is still a very poor state in terms of resources available to the state government considering its huge infrastructure deficit.
Forget USA, let's talk about other African states, look at Kigali, Durban, cape town, Alexandria, Casablanca to mention a few. Do you think they generate more funds than Lagos ? But see how well they are developed but corruption from the likes of Tinubu et all won't allow Lagos grow into what its supposed to be.

Lagos remains the best governed state in Nigeria. In terms of poverty, the poverty index of Lagos is the lowest in the country. Lagos is not perfect and more needs to done. However, the state is far better than all other states in Nigeria.
With the fund Lagos is generating Lagos should be better looking than Abuja, but our dear Tinubu won't allow this. True or false ?

Popular while your people suffer ? Who did this kind of thing to we the black man ? We should have gone past all this, see politics isn't about just getting a position but how many lives are impacted after getting this position. Tinubu is a good politician but see how Lagosians are suffering by the day. This mentality shouldnt grow with you please.

EducationRe: JAMB, Institutions Approve 160 As Cut-off Mark For 2019 Admission by nonxo007(m): 12:29pm On Jun 12, 2019
It is really sad that when other country educational institutions are making great strides ours is drawing back. For heavens sakes the total score for Jamb is 400, and the average of 400 is 200 but over here its 180 now they want to reduce it to 160. Students don't read any more, no one is allowing school pass through them. It is really sad, I weep for this nation. To me the mark should be put at 200, so that people know that getting into a higher institution is for the serious minded people, not people who aren't ready to study and make research. A 5years old kid in America or Japan would out do a matured individual in Nigeria with his masters and PhD in engineering.

Our educational system is in shambles.

PoliticsRe: It Doesn't Take Decades To Fight Corruption, Rwandan President Tells Buhari by nonxo007(m):
Charity they say begins at home, President Kagame to me is the kind of man every African country needs. Fighting corruption isn't an easy task, but for one to truly fight corruption, he need to first make sure there is no corruption happening around him. If I were the president c in c, and I'm determined to fight corruption I would first use a close ally of mine to set an example as to what would happen to corrupt people. Just like a fat gym instructor who is helping others get in shape but he himself isn't any were near being in shape.
Other countries are moving forward in science and all others, but over here we are reducing jamb score to 160.
God help us

I was "privileged" to attend Madonna university during it's early years... I immediately figured out that, I would never be able to study in that glorified secondary school... Even then, they had a guard room, and student snitches who we call 'vamps' that year lol, who would literally snitch u out over nothing... Then came d day, I locked eyes with father edeh and I knew, never in my life would I be a part of that man's institution of wickedness and utmost disregard to people's feelings
I attended Caritas, we used to call ours spy. Lol, how I graduated from that school is like a miracle to my parents. HallReps, Security, Rev. Fr., sisters infact every body will want to frustrate you.

You still don't get it, all the European countries I know will never refuse you because they think you will overstay... But from my knowledge only U S does that shit yet it's so shameful that despite their dependence on the lame psychology of the interviewing officers, many still go and overstay and I guess it is because they rarely give visas to the genuine people who deserves it.

I think what the government should fight against is their gamble like visa process and mandate them to screen documents.
Well I agree with you on this, but still the US government still has the right to grant visa to whom so ever they deem right to enter their country. And screening of document I think is a must

Big big lie! If you write this about U.S I will agree with you cos other European countries verify your claims and will grant you once you have a sincere reason to travel unlike the scammers in American embassy who just ask you some series of useless Generic questions and then make their lame decisions based on lame psychology....

What a joke...their visitor visa process is worse than bet9ja and baba ijebu put together.
My brother you shouldn't conclude its a lie if you were not present there, unless you are the spokes person for the European embassies in Nigeria.

That’s RIDICULOUS.

THE ANNOYING PART is that the eediots who engage in such are well knowledgeable in VISA ACQUISITION, so they are granted visas swiftly, when compared to the GOOD and Well Meaning Nigerians
Very true, making the well meaning Nigerians suffer, my sister who works for a government ministry was denied visa to go for a course in Europe because they fear she might not return or even over stay her visa. Its really sad
CelebritiesRe: Naira Marley: Daddy Showkey Slams EFCC (Video) by nonxo007(m): 7:49am On May 21, 2019
Why don't we allow petty thieves and kidnappers go free because boko haram and its leaders haven't been arrested ? Do we allow the country run into chaos because a few haven't been arrested while others are arrested. Maybe daddy showkey would be glad if one day he wakes up and notices that his money has all disappeared all to scam and fraud, probably he'll be happy and say to himself the person who took it probably is going through hardship and needs it more.
I am not supporting politicians who haven't been jailed for corruption, but when a person commits a crime he/she should face the consequences. Let's not allow this nation run into chaos. Today these yahoo boys are feeding off the white people, tomorrow it might be you and all you've worked hard for would just disappear.

Let's be reasonable.

There was a time an aunty of mine who is a widow and didn't have anything met the family for assistance, we all contributed money for her to start up a little business with hope for it to grow. Over a year later some people got access to her ATM and did away with all her money, it took the grace of God and the love from the family that she didn't commit suicide or even die of heart attack. She still is gradually recovering though, but put yourselves in her shoe and think about it.

Fela did old school crimes while Naira Marley is doing new school crimes. You can’t compare those days with now. Fela spoke for the people
Fela was the people’s voice.

Perhaps, This same stupid buhari arrested and jailed the legend Fela and still doing The same to our new school legend.naira m

I hope you all have head to think

The people are into fraud all because they can’t watch there family die of hunger in this stupid country. So they rather take from the rich who waste there money

And mean while even In the court. There convictions are still fair (6month in jail or less for cyber crime ) bec they understand the state of the country
I'm sorry to say Fela and Nairamarley are nothing alike and there is no excuse for crime. Yes the country isn't all pleasurable, but there are people still making great strides without the help of anyone. How would you feel if you are one day duped and your Money gone ? I bet you'll be joyous and say to yourself someone who needs it more got it. Please stop making excuses for crime unless you are a part of that crime.
