APC has 2 of 3 senators in Anambra. Wrong, APC has just one senator, senator Stella Oduah who just decamped. The others are PDP and YPP |

ibedun: Here we go again, NONSENSE!!!
When will stupid Nigerian people realise that we are the government? Why is it that your useless uncle and his equally stupid neighbours are willing to stand by while helping people to steal OUR COLLECTIVE resources? And they all standby like cowards suffering and wallowing in underdevelopment and poverty in silence? I was very polite in making my comment and I meant no harm but just to make you see another side of the rot in our nation, but here you are cursing, is it necessary? Would it take a thing from you if you made your point without insulting anyone? Well don't take this attitude to the outside world as you wouldn't go far with it. Stay safe bro. Moreover in your own little environment what have you done to impact lives or change the current situation around ? Man don't allow the things you see in Nigeria lead you to depression yeah? People dy enjoy for this country |

Honesty111: Wow. Nice. God bless him.
Which one Nigerian players do for naija here? Someone should point me to any. Kindly let me tell you a story, I was in Lagos some years back and stayed with a very well to do brother of mine who lived in a very beautiful mansion, surrounded by so many other beautiful mansions but the road leading to this cluster of mansions was in a very deplorable state. So I asked him "bros can't you repair this road from your personal pocket or all the wealthy men in this area join funds together to work on the road ? His answer was "if you try it you'll block someone's means of looting and create enmity with the "powerful person", so to live in peace they all avoided fixing the road until the government is ready to do it. |

Mixedfruit: who else is happy with this news? No no no, you shouldn't be happy at all. Let me tell you why. At National Assembly there are only 109 senator and 360 members of which about half of them go to work daily and are well guarded. Now Nass has over 2500 staffs who are just normal civil servants, over 500 youth corpers who are serving and looking for a better life. Now if there's an attack on NASS the people who'll bare the consequence will be the staffs and the youth corpers not even the law makers, so there's no need to be happy with this report. |

Oga face the music and don't bring the whole igboland into this. As governor you thought you were untouchable, you spoke any how, treated Imolites any how, build unnecessary structures here and there but abandoned the key areas you needed to touch. Look at the massive gully close to your village Ogboko, Umueshi it has cut off the road that road users now have to ply inside the villages in order to get to their destination. Every year they allocate money for frivolous spending mean while roads are begging to be fixed, Douglas market was begging for renovation and all he could do was speaking silly English and Hausa. This man is no Igbo man, Uzodimma never start with you yet, you must slim down by force. This is a warning to those leaders that think they can act anyhow while in power, remember nothing last forever. Time will either remove you or death will. |

BastardWike: All these quota system billionaires lacks creativity and foresight. You didn't build refineries in the 1970's, 80's, 90's or even early 2000's but now that fuel cars are being phased out and renewable energy is gaining massive boost globally, that is when the craze for refinery got into their head!
You're talking about AFcta but you forgot that heavily subsidized refineries built all over the middle East, Asia and developed world will equally channel their excess capacity to Africa. How can they compete?
Why can't they spend these monies in building power plants considering that Nigeria has a massive deficit in it?
Quarter system billionaires indeed! Just like cement, the federal government might simply ban the importation of fuel to serve their selfish interest |
Politics › Re: Dangote Refinery Can Bail Nigeria Out Of Economic Recession – IMF by nonxo007(m): 8:08am On Feb 11, 2021 |
Omihanifa: Nigeria should stop relying on Petro dollar if she doesn't want to be going and coming out of recession everytime, there are so many areas /sectors in the economy that can generate enough foreign exchange for the country which the federal government is not exploring. Sectors like agriculture, tourism and mining can generate so much foreign exchange if adequately taken care off.
Most importantly the country should stop importing and start producing so that there won't be so much pressure on the naira. Corruption, greed and wickedness will not allow us. Those areas you mentioned are several countries major source of revenue. |
