You are a primitive man with third world brain . your brain contains too much starch and carbohydrate. You should eat more seafood and veggies to boost your brain health.
Only downtown Seattle is 217 km2. The city of Seattle is 16,000Km2 .

Just shut it already and admit you goofed instead of acting like an ape. The official administrative Land Area of Seattle is 217km2.
If you wanted to be more specific (by including other local government area like Tacoma and Bellevue), you would have said Metropolitan Seattle; and you'd still be wrong because the land area of the South-East is at 25,000km2 which still makes your dumb claim FALSE.

Grab a freaking Geography textbook and stop making a buffoon of yourself, you illiterate.

What's the area of Anambra? Where's the space to be food basket of Africa? Nigerians need exposure. Do you know that a city like Seattle is as large as all the south east states combined? Anambra is just a town or suburb.

Seattle City Land Area: 217 km2 (Two Hundred and Seventeen Square Kilometres).

Anambra State Land Area: 4,844 km2 (Four Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty-Four Square Kilometres).

I blame cheap internet for giving dunces like you a platform to showcase your ignorance.

"Buhari will never bow to the IMF"

"The neo-colonialist IMF can go to hell with their money and anti-African policies. THERE IS A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN!"

Politics / Buhari Approves Borrowing From World Bank, China by NoreenUG(f): 10:03pm On Sep 08, 2016
*Nigeria Presidency Approves Borrowing From World Bank, China

*Plans include 20-year loans with 1.25 percent interest
*Government waiting for go-ahead from lawmakers to raise debt

Nigeria’s presidency has approved plans for external borrowing from the World Bank, China and Japan.
Nigeria will take on debt from institutions including the World Bank, African Development Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency and Export-Import Bank of China, the presidency commented on Twitter.
This will include “low-cost, long-term” loans with interest rates of 1.25 percent and maturities of 20 years, according to the tweets. Details of a Eurobond will be announced “in due course.” The government is now waiting for lawmakers to approve the plans, the presidency said.
President Muhammadu Buhari announced a record 6.1 trillion naira ($19.4 billion) spending plan this year to try and stimulate the economy, which contracted in the first two quarters as oil revenue plunged. He said he expected the government to raise about $5 billion from the Eurobond market and multilateral and bilateral lenders.

Nigeria’s Debt Management Office last month asked banks to place bids by Sept. 19 if they wished to manage a $1 billion Eurobond sale. Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun told bond investors in London in June that Nigeria was close to securing around $3 billion of funding from the World Bank and African Development Bank.
Nigeria, which vies with South Africa as the continent’s biggest economy, has issued dollar bonds twice, the last time in 2013. Yields on its $500 million of securities due in July 2023 fell 11 basis points to 6.24 percent by 1:01 p.m. in Lagos, their lowest level since June 2015 and down more than 300 basis points since hitting a record 9.4 percent on Jan. 18.

So, after all of Buhari's stubborn theatrics of We-will-never-submit -to-world-bank-and-IMF, he finally falls on his knees and approves borrowing from World Bank.

The man has been totally demystified! grin

Politics / Re: President Buhari Presides Council Of State Meeting by NoreenUG(f): 9:06pm On Sep 07, 2016
This is interesting, because it is well known that Buhari deliberately SNUBBED every council of state meeting that was held before he eventually became president last year (probably bitter he was overthrown).
Check the man's record after he was overthrown - the man NEVER contributed anything towards nation building, never wrote a SINGLE academic paper on the socio-political state of his region, never joined in ANY awareness efforts to help curb the rampaging illiteracy in the north, was NEVER invited to any international developmental conferences. NOTHING.
You could only hear him and his almajiri crowd during elections. Each time he lost, he went back to his reclusive lifestyle, never to be heard from again until the next 4 years.
Honestly, Muhammadu Buhari brought no value to the country.

He's no patriot. Just an office seeker.

Kemi Adeosun will outperform NOI in Buhari's regime.

NOI failed because GEJ was the weakest president in the history of Nigeria......... NOI excel during OBJ regime. Kemi Adeosun despite not possessing same qualification as NOI will have Buhari's total support and attention, and that is what will make her succeed.

She is not even alone , MoF has technocrats also CBN is there to provide Monetary policy support and area of fiscal policies, The Minister of trade is also a good analyst among many economists that can be consulted even Soludo is everly ready to help at least through criticism ....

what we need in Nigeria is not economists but Kemi Adeosun, we need somebody who has auditing and accounting experience to help boost our fallen revenue through diversification while also protecting our heritage from vampires though Audit.....

only we accountants are trained in revenue boost and safeguarding of money via Value for Money (VFM) ... we are also trained in implementing ZBB "zero based Budgeting which is a VFM tool.

it is not about the certificate alone, but the will and the support system.

Enough of all the bu.llsh.its from the economics profession, it is time for accountants to show economist their modelling and power points graph are all craps .... Economics only simulate world scenarios by manipulating macro and micro economic variables while hiding under ceteris paribus ..... Ceteris paribus is the highest fraud in economics profession because ceteris doesn't paribus in most occasion. These variables being held constant ain't constant in real world and in the longrun, they vary cuz they are stubborn.

Economics is only OK for academics not for professional world .... economics is only OK in classrooms and research institutions not strictly business corporations ....... No time to test run nonsense models.

There is no gamble in accounting, it is either you make profit or loss .... our valuations are real also our judgement.

ThanGod, we accountants are exploring econometrics now like never before, very soon we shall advance the course of knowledge and create our own simulating tools ..... Time for economics to be relegated in the sphere of knowledge and corporate world.

Even Jarus ran away from economics and parachute into accounting via ICAN, grin .... he doesn't want to become a lecturer. lol ahahaha grin

Kemi Adeosun all the way...... Greatest Accountants, let's show them......

!!!!

This poster wrote a lot of trash here, and Adeosun's epic failure will come back to haunt him.

But it took Buhari just 1 year to crash the economy and render 4.58 million people jobless and wretched.

Truly, it is easier to destroy than to build, especially when you're a stark illiterate.

Politics / Passengers Board Flights In Darkness At Murtala Mohammed Airport by NoreenUG(f): 4:10pm On Aug 29, 2016

The Murtala Mohammed international airport on Saturday night hit a new low as darkness enveloped the premier airport due to power outage at the time passengers were boarding flights to different foreign destinations.

The power outage at the airport occurred between 10pm and midnight, when about four international flights – British Airways, Air France, South African Airways, and one other – were boarding.

The departure lounge was pitch dark as airlines officials deployed gas-powered lanterns and battery-powered flashlights to check-in passengers and walk them through the boarding gates.
Passengers groped their ways through the boarding gates into the aircraft.

They discussed the security implications of conducting check-in and boarding processes in darkness in a country currently battling terrorism and at a time when aviation security should be a high priority.

“The place was full of heat and people were sweating. It was a disaster. Our international airport has reached a new low,” a passenger on one of the flights told THISDAY.

The cause of last night’s power outage at the airport could not be ascertained at the time of going to press.

Well, he's finally unknowingly admitted that the president is currently not doing well.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, Mr. Adesina. Great leaders show their greatness early from the way the listen, the way they respect the country's institutions, the type of people they appoint to head parastatals, and their willingess to LEARN. Buhari has done none of these, has shown none of these, and possesses none of these.

Amaechi is busy helping to wreck PDP in the South South or, when I slightly concerned, looks for a PDP train to commission.

Sadly when we had a professional there, Stela Oduah, Nigerians and especially the South West media helped demonising and pulling her down- because she is Igbo! Ironically, the Aviation-related jobs that will be lost will be jobs largely located in the South West.

Let this 'change' continue. I think this is a punishment from God. Buhari please fire on.
