Since paypal does not give us nigerians the chance to do anything with their yeye platform. I was advised to use googlecheckout, that was after checking out out other likely processors like skrill, payza etc.

My problem is that I needed to intergrate the google checkout into my website to use in accepting payments for wares that I wish to sell on the website. But while trying to fill the google checkout form, I noticed that I would just hav to fill in my credit card details. My questions is dat will they accept my UBA africard visa card?
Will the card be able to accept or withdraw funds for me? Pls help me with answers. Am in a dilemma now. Thanks

Brand_new: Yes it's possible but you need to verify your google merchant account using your international passport or other forms of identification.

I got these pictures and I asked myself, that even as a Christian that grew up in Maiduguri and having had my first childhood friends whom are moslems. I asked myself, is dis the Islam I used to know, my friends that I knew were peaceful moslems. Prophet Mohammed would be shedding tears in heaven right now, seeing that people are using his name to kill innocent people, even fellow moslems. Will this country really hold on together by 2015? The USA predicted that nigeria will breakup come 2015 and we called them bluff, this is 2012 and even northern indigenes are leaving their own states. I still hav many igbo friends that have taken the northern states as their home. This is not the Islam that I know. This is sooo cruel. Abuja is not even safe again.

4. In not more than three working days buyer's bank issues an MT799 to the seller's bank in favour of the seller via SWIFT and a copy sent to the seller by email.

5. Upon the reciept and confirmation of the aforementioned, ship's captain, on instruction of seller issues an Autority To Board (ATB) to buyer's inspector and supercarco and copy sent to buyer to enable them carry out quality and quantity analysis/inspection on, Nigerian/Ghana/Cotonou international waters.

6. After a successful inspection, in not more than three days, buyer issues an irrevocable comfirmed operative letter of credit (MT103) to cover for the cost of cargo and commision to the seller and a pay order sent to individual bank account officers of facilitators and agents advising them of his readiness to remit their commissiom to them upon the successful completion of the trasaction.

7. Seller provides information about tanker handler to buyer to facilitate the conclusion of charter agreement with the buyer.

8. Buyer places full charter on the vessel, and seller hands over all cargo documents over to the buyer's bank.

9. Buyer's vessel is granted clearance to depart from point of anchor immidiately after payment by wire to all nominated accounts.

Am at loose at what to do rihgt now as I intended to use it next week.lagos is just too far for me now. Is the card still working at all? Because the way the guys at owerri uba were answering me, it was like I should try other cards. I just needed info.

I needed to also ask, can I use it to pay for hosting of my website in yahoo, infact does yahoo, facebook and twitter accept the uba africard?

I am a career woman in my late 20's living in the U.S. It has been almost impossible for me to meet good Nigerian men much less Nigerian men at my financial level. As you all know the U.S is very big; i generally don't hang out with Nigerians..not that i don't want to, i just don't know where and how to go about meeting up with my people. When i do go out to naija lounges or clubs in my area, all i find are little kids playing around or 419ers( which i would rather remain single than have anything to do with them). I have tried the church avenue, but i am catholic, and catholic churches in the U.S are much different from naija catholic churches. I live in NYC, so anyone that can give me pointers on where to meet eligible professional Naija men would be great.

I have been very blessed and fortunate in my chosen career, and i would want a partner that can pull his own weight financially in a relationship. Though i have accepted that i would most likely do much better than a potential partner, i can never respect a man that would find it hard to give me money to cook food in the house and take care of some bills, instead of assuming i will take care of it since i make much more. Akatas and white men chase me all day, but i would rather settle down with a Nigerian man(preferably yoruba) i am half yoruba and half something else I grew up in naija, so i speak yoruba and can cook naija food well well.
