BabsO2: Love to see simple numbers like this. It shows Ellah has room to grow from current PO price.
I can imagine the owners of ARPN will be the majority owners of Ellah post PO. Or some market makers. And these people will be the majority owners of Ellah post PO and will be the ones managing the business going forward. Will pick up some PO to add to my front row positions once I cross check these simple numbers. If this were the case then they would have paid for the deal with shares |

He is just looking for 20 billion and above to japa from the stress of agric sector. He is a coperate world guy. This is why he has not been producing results since 2019 with such land bank.Even the pig business he is failing on it.Guys who go into it start getting serious multiplying numbers in 3 yrs. My guy go done change that suit/tie,begin chop better food, funish that HQ with functional AC and change car..lol.That is why they refused to add RI in the fund raising. They don't have genuine and true prospects for the business .kpakus na big time scam alert They will soon give him award as Nigeria's sexiest CEO. |

Anyways I’m waiting for 6-7naira so I can pick up my Public offer. This will be my last comment on Ellah for the moment. The only way I own this stock is if I am given for free. I don't buy opacity and I don't believe the pork meat market in Nigeria is that big. But hey, what do I know. |

SonofElElyonRet: Chuka Mr sweet mouth.. on a serious note, things are looking up for Ellah.. wey all the nay sayers? This thing fit enter N1,000 over the next 5 - 10 years The biggest short coming of communicating via text is that it is difficult to convey sarcasm. For every transaction there is typically a buyer and a seller. The buyer thinks the seller is not seeing what he is seeing. The seller is thinking the buyer is stupid for buying. With regards to Ellah I am a spectator. I would really love to see who is wrong in this movie. The buyers or the sellers. A company is raising almost $200m and the CEO is telling me how they will be feeding pigs with palm kernel cake. Make una continue!!! I just cant be involved in the saga. |

It could just be the market being inefficient and. They released half year audited results so whatever could be "issue" would need to have happened after that audit. I don't think there are any "serious issues", I just think the market is being inefficient |

Streetinvestor2: That is because he is neither a monkey hunter or Scam alert. Therefore he no send whether u buy or no buy the stock he is investing his money...lol.He mentions the stock here to get other people analysis on the stock What you have said and also to create demand for what I own. Remember that there are a limited number of shares on the exchange. Any demand I can create will only help push up the price which I ultimately profit from. Go through my post history, I have never mentioned what I am going to buy unless I am trying to feel the pulse of other market participants. However once I have bought my fill I will start to scream why that stock is the best thing since sliced bread. Likewise I do not mention what I am going to sell. I will only say I have sold after the fact. This game is not a team sport. Anybody coming here looking for a guru or some guide is only delulu. Internet go use your life savings do exit liquidity Take time out and learn how to value stocks for yourself. Read books, read Investopedia, ask questions, but do the bleeding work. Thinking you will come on some internet forum and some stranger will have your best interest at heart based on phony online reputation is a recipe for disaster. |

How will this one be different ..lol If it gets to the price I think it is worth I will happily sell. If there is news that makes me feel that my original thesis is wrong, I will happily sell. IF I wake up and the wrong side of my bum itches me and I decide that is a signal to sell, guess what I will do? My number one priority is me myself and I. So long as I can justify my decision to myself I am fine with it. If anybody follow me and they enter bush then they are on their own. This is not a team sport. I am here to make money from other market participants (YOU) |

HesInMe: I don't know if it'll get to N19 or N25 in the short run. I just know that if it gets to N19, I'm going to double my position. Because if I look out 5-7 years, I see the African consumer rising, and trade, payments, and wealth management alongside, and few Nigerian banks are better positioned to ride that tsunami than Access.
But if one's horizon is shorter, the disappointment is understandable. If you have a 5 to 6 year horizon then there is a stock I am looking to buy soon. After I buy I will disclose it. I could disclose it here or on my site. Sha just keep an eye out. |

handsomebolanle: Access will get to 19. I will enter in 19. Zenith and UBa has paid me back my 10% loss in access(I’ve stayed over 8 months) The new capital raise at 20.25 naira looks fishy. Once I suspect a high level of inefficiency, I cut out. That has been my strategy. It is incredibly unlikely that Access Bank will get to N19. You are more likely to buy back at N25 than to buy back at N19. |

funkymedina2: Question to the house: Please, what does it generally take for a broker like Meristem to assign a dedicated account officer or offer access to more tailored services such as specialized products, detailed research reports, or reduced fees?
Is there a specific portfolio threshold that typically qualifies a client for that level of attention? If yes, what ballpark range are we talking about?
I’m currently not satisfied with the level of service I’m receiving, especially considering the fees and I’m wondering whether it’s simply because my portfolio, while modest, is within the upper double-digit millions.
Are there brokers out there who provide stronger client engagement and better support for investors in that range? I’m beginning to feel like I may be too small for Meristem and might get better treatment elsewhere if I move. thanks in advance If you are not happy with their service get another broker. Its not by force to use them |

HesInMe: It's mostly dumb luck.
All these feel-good, find-the-needle-in-the-haystack investment stories don't acknowledge how poorly the strategy works on the average -- those stocks where the strategy fails, and fails badly. Most investors are better off just buying the index. It's not luck |

Mankind2024: My brother, the NSEMPA no1 impatient and arrogant trader, thank you for the free publicity and for giving me the opportunity to clear the air once and for all.
1. “Negative shareholders’ funds and a failing business model” - In Feb 2021, NCR had negative equity of about –N1.2bn. That’s public information. - What is also public information is that the company had over N8bn in installed base contracts (maintenance of ATMs, POS, and self-service kiosks across banks and oil companies), contracts that renew every 3–5 years almost automatically. - I saw a situation where the market was pricing a 130-year-old technology franchise with monopoly-like service contracts as if it was heading for liquidation… for N180m market cap. That’s not a “failing business model.” That’s the bargain of the decade.
2. “Why only N170k? That doesn’t show confidence.” - In 2021 I was a salary earner, struggling with life and family responsibilities. N170k was part of my liquid net worth at the time — exactly the position size I allocate to my highest-conviction ideas when they are this depressed. - Confidence is not measured by how much you bet when something is already obvious to everyone. Real conviction is measured by how much you are willing to allocate when literally nobody else sees it. - Today that N170k is worth N3.635 million. I sleep very well with that “small” conviction.
3. “You only got 20x in 4–5 years while people who bought at the 52-week low got 18x in one year — so it’s luck.” - People who bought at the 52-week low in early 2025 paid between N4 and N6. They are enjoying the ride now, and I’m genuinely happy for them. - But let’s be honest: in early 2025, the turnaround was already visible to anyone who cared to read the 2024 results and the H1 2025 numbers. The stock had started moving. It was no longer invisible. - I bought when the company was still bleeding, when the chart was flat for four years, when the average daily volume was sometimes 200 shares, when people on this same forum were calling it “dead money, Iliquid stock.” - That’s not luck. That’s buying when fear was maximum and facts were minimum.
4. “Paint the full picture so people can learn.” - The full picture is simple: I looked for a company with: (a) a moat (service contracts that competitors can’t easily take), (b) a tiny market cap relative to its installed base, (c) a share count that made a future re-rating mathematically explosive (108 million units), and (d) zero chance of permanent capital loss because the business would still be needed even if it crawled along for another decade. - I didn’t need 2025 results to see that. Everything I needed was already there in 2021 for anyone willing to read beyond the headline loss.
Finally, I have never claimed to be a genius like you. I just refused to complicate what is painfully simple: buy great (or decent) businesses when nobody wants them, do nothing, and let time work.
If waiting 4–5 years for 20x (so far) while collecting zero dividends and watching red headlines every quarter is “luck,” then I pray every member of this forum continues to enjoy such terrible luck.
To everyone else reading: the next NCR is already on the NGX today — trading at N5–N15, negative equity, zero volume, and plenty of people calling it trash. You don’t need luck. You only need the stomach to be early and the patience to be quiet.
God bless you all. And thank you again, the arrogant trader, for bumping my post to the top. Much appreciated. 🙏🏾 Wonderful post and brilliant analysis. |
