I don't think this is correct—it should be around 1.7, and that refers to the book value per share. Book value is approximately equal to equity, which is about 20.79 billion naira, while the number of shares is around 12.2 billion. So, the book value per share comes out to roughly 1.7. But I might be wrong.

Outstanding share is 3,858,173,678 on NGX website.

So you're right, it is still very risky. I plan on selling a property in Ajah to buy this stock. Once the property is sold I will visit the company office and ask to go see the farm myself. Right now I have some and I am still buying, however I have not yet deployed serious funds into it.

I planned to start a palm oil business and to me investing that money into this is a better play. Assuming the numbers are true, and I feel they are, then buying at below book value is actually better than starting my own business myself.

This doesn't mean you should buy hold or sell.

Mind you the visitation was very recent.

Why is a business concerned with stock price unless they want to raise funds. It's all too fishy. Technically though, there is a long term signal for price appreciation. But there are just too many coys with certainty, at least in the near term, than to be running after deadbones. I leave that one for Elijah

Ellah Lakes is trading at a Price to Book value of 0.44.

If truly Ellah lakes is real,insiders should have pushed the stock above 10 by now.Look at presco and okomu.I pity our shareholders who are comparing Antelope with Lions.

They have a plan B with the palm trees while presenting piggery farms to shareholders.How much are people making in pig? 500 pigs for a company quoted at the exchange.
