If buhari even had a chance to win, Which he dosent, I would have called on Nigerians to see Amaechi turn around and Betray and backstab his new oga Buhari in less than year, Just like he did his first oga Odili, and Jonathan, He would do the same to Buhari. But Alas Buhari will not smell Aso Rock Again. He betrayed Wike Who fought all the court cases that brought him into rivers state government house, while he was hiding in Ghana. Amaechi is a confirmed Saboteur, has Betrayed South South region and Betrayed the party that brought him to power. Above all he has betrayed the rivers state people that voted for him by using their state treasury to run Buharis campaign while projects in rivers state are abandoned. Win Or lose he will pay a price for his betraying ways Humans may forget but Karma never forgets! |
Purehuman:By then his psychiatric problems or lack there of will not be rivers state concern but his personal and family issue. Less than 2 months left! |
neoshaklum:APC propaganda busted, The lady in the picture holding a Buhari Osibanjo poster were the few Buhari supporters that came out to support buhari. But were crowded out by the Anti- buhari group, when they could not succeed to silence the crowd the resorted to making the propaganda video to disparage the Anti buhari group by interviewing themselves and pretending to be interviewing the Anti buhari group. Now look at the lady she is the same person being interviewed. but its obvious she is a buhari supporter.

Purehuman:No need to lock him , Just vote APC out of Rivers state simple. By June 2015 APC will be an anathema in Rivers state. |
Once a PA to Oga, always A PA. Thats amaechi's story. boy boy for life.Even as a governor he is yet to shake his man-friday mentality |

Senatorlabe:Universities create jobs! Where do professors/Academic work? ![]() |
samguru:Contrary to your opinion, More University will bring competition in the university education market, thereby making everyone to sit up in offering the best services in other to attract students. Both the public and private university will sit up and seek to do better if they want to still be a major player in the University education space and able to attract students. |
nora544:Private universities the world over are expensive and only the rich can attend, But the caveat is that they also have better facilities, better management and usually Offer more scholarships than private universities. Nigeria in my Opinion is already saturated with Public universities all state under GEJ now have atleast one federal university and serious states also have their own state universities. Its time for more private universities. Its a win win for Nigerian Youths, Both Public and private universities will now compete for student by offering better services, when there is competition among the universities the students will win. Rich students who are occupying space in public universities will begin to migrate over to private uni. to be with their fellow rich students thereby freeing more admission space for poor students in the public universities. |
seunwen2:You should ask yourself how many universities did buhari build when he was president? jonathan has built 13 FG universities and approved 9 Private ones in the space of just 5 yrs. Be honest with your self and leave sentiment aside Jonathan is the best candidate among the poll of aspirants we have now. |
For those Who are concerned about the high Fees that private university charge: Here is a food for thought, Private Universities worldwide are more expensive than public universities and on the average better managed and has better facilities than public universities. The High fees charged by private universities will make both Parents/guardian and Students ponder their career paths/ courses more seriously! No parent or student is going to want to spend say 500K tuition to study philosophy, history, english language etc without pondering what career such discipline will led to. No Parent or student is going to pay high tuition to get to a private university to Join secret cult, become a political thug, or not study hard to make good grades etc. Building private universities that have facilities that match those available abroad will help save our country forex exchange. 90% of students in private universities like covenant etc would have been heading to universities abroad thereby taking all that tution money abroad to create jobs for lectures in foreign countries while our prof. at home are unemployed. My vote is for more Private Universities with NUC regulation for standardization and My Vote is for GEJ till 2019,I Like what he is doing in transport,Education, Agriculture, industries, and more recently how he is funding the Military which is turning the tide against Boko Haram etc God bless Nigeria God bless GEJ |
nora544:Would you rather have them pocket the tithes, than use it to add value to our youths via education? |
lolaxavier:Can you imgine what those schools will look like in 5 to 10 yrs? they are just starting and yet they have better facilities than most state and federal universities. Truth be told we need more Private Universities and Industries not Government. |
Hitunnu:Private investments are better managed than Government ones. All the best universites in the US the IVY leagues are privately owned. |
9 New Universities = 9 centres for employments, Teaching and Non- teaching staff, it takes a large staff strength to run a university. The economic impact that these will have in the host communities as students will bring growth and development to their host communities and add value to those communities. It is a win win for the country as it will also help to raise the standard of living in Nigeria via more educated citizenry. But i would have loved to see more equitable distribution of the private universities in Nigeria, The North Needs more of the Universities than the south and there are more uneducated youth in the North with respect to the south. There are more Crude oil well owning Billionaires and Millionaires in the North than in the South, Why are these oil billionaires in the North not investing in building Universities in the North? |
Jonathan is working Gej Till 2019 |
Meringe:private secondary schools/colleges can convert to universities. Nigeria needs more private participation in educational development. The NUC will regulate these universities and ensure that they are standardized. These is a good initiative. We need more licences for private universities and industries in Nigeria. All the Ivy league universities in the US are privately run and owned. |
Obiagelli:they are trying to replace Ekiti as the bastion of yoruba Education. Now APC is Calling Ekiti the Bastion Of stomach infrastructure as opposed to the bastion of education it once was! ![]() |

RoyalPriesthuud:The underlined shows how ignorant you are, stop projecting your ignorance on me. i speak with facts not rumours. OSUN state under rauf is yet to tar a single km of road to international Standard not to talk of embarking on a rail project. Lagos and Port harcourt has revenue and GDP thats higher than that of many african countries including ethiopia hence the comparison.and they also feature in my radar because they are the only state that has rail projects ongoing and they have sofar each spent more on their projects which are of lesser scope and quality than Addis Ababa light rail. the difference being Ethiopian train are running while the rivers, and lagos rail are sinkholes for corrupt politician to steal from their state treasuries with no completion date in sight. If you knew how to read with comprehension, you would have also noticed that Abuja Light rail An FG project also featured in my critic. |
Its a sad commentary of Nigeria. Abuja, lagos and port-harcourt specifically. |
