joseph1832: "Your sources are credible" please don't make me puke! Are you a journalist? Are your sources in the APC campaign camp? And just how close to infor are your sources? Can we even ascertain the credibilty of your sources? Because we know some sources are just outrightly dumb and say whatever! That's why we have so many uninformed news/opinions here on Nairaland!.
Just ask yourself why didn't those clamoring for the postponing of this election bring up this ingenius idea? How come is now they're thinking about peeps who haven't collected their PVC? I am a blogger who gets information from credible sources. February 14th will be the test for the credibility of this info. Until then, I challenge you to provide the reason why APC wants the election to hold when 30 million Nigerians are yet to collect their PVC? |

nicklaus40: inec announced themselves last year dat election will be held on Feb 14, changing d date brings some question marks and can damage the credibility of the election what damage can postponing the election for 6 weeks to enable the 30 million Nigerians who are yet to receive their PVC to do so cause? |
Politics › Re: APC Terrified of Election Postponement Because Their Financier Are Broke. by notobs: 10:14pm On Feb 07, 2015 |
Atouke: Tinubu, Lagos State treasury, Fashola, Amaechi. Rivers state treasury, Okorocha and imo State treasury . Which are the major source of funding for the APC campaign is afraid that if the election is postponed, it may not have the financial muscle to sustain their ongoing media and social media campaign against the deep pockets of the PDP.
This is coming on the backdrop of their choosing Poor pa Buhari, whose only real wealth is 150 cows, and his heard has not changed since the number has stayed the same for the certificate forger from 1999 when he started declaring asset to run for office till date. one wonders if the number stayed the same because Pa Buhari is not a good farmer or is a clueless businessman who lacks the skill to increase his stock.
What makes APC really worried is that the campaign adverts both on conventional and online media has only been paid for, up till february 13. and they do not know how to get funding for the campaign beyond that time. Information reaching us from the Buhari campaign team is that the Northern governors especially kwankwaso have refused to fund the campaign because they see the whole project as Tinubu's project, whose main aim is to control the presidency by proxy if APC wins, an hence the lack of enthusiasm on their part. They are saving their money for state campaign.
The calculation was that LASG,RVSG, Amaechi, tinubu, fashola will be able to singlehandedly fund the campaign, without any stress, but for the threatening postponement that may thwart their calculation. Dont be surprised if the APC campaign blacks out on the midnight of february 13, baring a die minute funding intervention this may likely be the case. Lets watch out. lol |

nicklaus40: guy u too dey lie na, 45 mil don gt PVC out of 68. Wia u see ur 30 million And they are not postponing it because of voters card but because our army has bin infiltrated by ur oga jona nd dey claim dey cannot provide security during d election even na 1millon were never collect election must be postponed for them to be able to collect their card, we must not disenfranchise Nigerians. Notice you did not address the reason that APC is insisting on elections to be held in feb 14. |

Now I Know the campaign is going broke. LOL Op thanks for the heads up |

From your profile its obvious you are one of those SaTanist with multiple NL accounts doing the job you are paid to do. Nonsense! excuses, How long did it take fashola and Amaechi to not complete their rail projects? havent they been working on that for almost 8yrs now? |

IGBOSON1: ^^^Questions keh!.....Like you don't already know how funds are mismanaged in Nigeria! Manage or mismanage the funds me i want the projects to be delivered first, then we can talk of how much was stolen. The problem with Naija is that the leaders will thieve the money and the project will never be delivered. Oyibo people the get their cut for projects but them go still deliver the project, Our own leaders will take their cut and embezzle the main project fund too. |

The so-called Richest Economy in Africa doff its hat and bow in shame before you.
now, where are those SaTanists celebrating Jona's museum pieces (despite our oyel money), as the reason he should be voted again. More reason to vote out this clueless govt. The picture of the luddite that stopped the construction of the lagos light rail in the 1980's. But for buhari, lagos light rail would have been completed years ago. He is the sole reason lagos is without a light rail today. I am going to keep everyone honest on this thread. |

I watched the prime minister while commissioning the project. No big grammar like the Nigerian leaders usually give. This guys mean business, they talk less and accomplish more. Our leaders talk trailer load and deliver KeKe NAPEP load.
Nigerian leaders need to emulate their ethiopian counterparts, Talk less and let your work speak for you the ethiopian way. |

Meiji: No it's their national colours, not ours.
Congratulations to the people of Ethiopia. That train is wearing our National colors and not ethiopian. look at the flags of both country below. This is a disgrace to jonathan, Fashola And Amaechi the three Nigerian Leaders that set out to build rail projects. GEJ because the quality of the ethiopian train Outclasses the ones he delivered and Abuja light rail is not yet ready. Fashola Because he has been Unable to deliver Lagos Light rail Amaechi Because his monorail is bordering on becoming an abandoned project.

bokohalal: Thanks, @Horus. Some days ago I had posted some pictures of Ethiopia's Railway and some PDPIANS said I was misinforming the public. They could not believe that a fellow African nation could jump into the 21st century. The PDP touts are asking us to crawl before we run. Well, Ethiopia is running away with modernity while we celebrate 19th century development and at great costs. Take your PDP and political talk away from here, this is not about politics but our National Shame. APC in Lagos and Rivers Have rail projects ongoing for several years now how many have they completed? At least the PDP has successfully rehabilitated the Kano - lagos and Port harcourt to Gombe railway while Kaduna to Abuja standard railway line has been completed. What has APC completed in terms of rail. |

Congratulations to our Ethiopians brothers for a job well done!
Nigeria with its largest economy in Africa is yet to finish Abuja light rail.
Lagos state with an economy and GDP that dwarf many African countries If Yet to finish its light rail After several decades of trying and many loans and budgetary allocations for the projects landing in corrupt state officials pocket.
The Port harcourt white elephant called 'Rivers Monorail' project is progressing at a snail pace and risk being abandoned if the present governor does not finish the first phase before he leaves office in less than 3 months |
