Ethiopia is funny, not a complaint? Kenyans been complaining since the project began, that it too expensive, that the Ethiopian one is cheaper yet electrified etc. In fact, the project is a major rallying call for the opposition, and if the current government is not careful could be defeated in the upcoming August elections for that reason. They say it was too expensive due to corruption and they cite your railway.

The population of Tigrays is about 6% of Ethiopia population, which is relatively minority compared to Oromos(35%) and Amharas(27%). After 17 years armed struggle, EPRDF(collective of TPLF, Amhara, Oromo and other peoples liberation frons, but mainly dominated by TPLF) took power from Derg in 1991. The TPLFs and the fake puppet Amharas in EPRDF are trying their best to destroy Amharas.

My father was one of the few founding members of Amhara liberation front and EPRDF(current government). He was among the few to challenge TFLF racist domination in Ethiopia. His vision was to see equality of all ethnic groups. He died last year without seeing his vision. Let's hope those agama nasty Tigrays will be deported to where they came in Arabia in the future.

I listed those for Nairobi and I asked you to add to the list but unfortunately you don't have again hence the final conclusion that Lagos has more highrises than Nairobi.

Abuja's role as the admin. capital has been realized. I see it as unnecessary and a waste of money, a white elephant project like the mil tower and many houses in Abuja. Many development projects, in abuja have become abandoned. Many houses have been abandoned. There is no need for a building boom as of now, that was the 1980s era when a lot of businesses located from Lagos.That era is now over. Despite the excessive money spent on Abuja, Lagos still remained the commercial/financial capital. I sure hope, the gov is not spending a single naira on that fake project. Also what viable use does it serve. It's just a waste of money. Eko Atlantic is trying to be the new financial HQ of Lagos, Konza city is trying to be the tech cap or Silicone valley of Kenya. Centenary city is even more ridiculous considering that it's supposed to celebrate the 100 year aniversary of Nigeria.Building a fake artificial city is not a way to do so, Nigeria's accomplishment should be visible in its development. Develop the country as it is, not waste money on a fake city with no purpose.

Abuja has every potential in displacing Lagos as the economic capital of Nigeria. But it just cannot happen overnight. Lagos was capital of Nigeria for 65 years. Abuja has not been capital for up to half that period.

You wanted the federal govt to continue investing in Lagos or what? I don't understand you.
Don't be too hasty to judge the viability of centenary city. Wait until it has been achieved and see if it will not boost Abuja economy.

He heavily invested in the railway sector, you can see the effects today.

He heavily invested in education for the educationally backward and disadvantaged core-northern Nigeria.

He created 9 new federal universities, thereby ensuring every Nigerian state has a federal university.

He was a man of dialogue n peaceful resolution of conflicts. He set up a National conference for all Nigerians n aggrived sections of the federation to sit n discuss their problems n grievances n chart a way forward by proferring solutions (u can imagine that! Only few african presidents have ever done such).

Slums r very difficult to completely get rid of, dontcha think? Look at Makoko, i heard most of it was demolished, buh did it really work? Seems like it was rebuilt.
Over here in Abuja, despite the demolition of many developing shanty settlements, many new ones r still developing simultaneously n if care is not taken, Abuja will have full blown large slums like Nairobi.

Nairobi's slums are beyond redemption. Nothing can ever be done about them. I heard that most of Nairobi slum dwellers sold their lowcost appartments and went back to the slums you can imagine.

You can take a Nairobian away from the slums but you can never take the slums away from a Nairobian. It has become a sort of cultural heritage.

Let me tell you something, a music video must not show beautiful n luscious surroundings before it can be said to be of good quality. It can be shot in an ordinary house or studio and still look mwaaah

So i really don't see the excuse of Tanzanians shooting videos outside Tanzania or not as a reasonable one.
They are really doing well with their entertainment industry n i think that's what matters.
Kenyan artistes really need to wake up from what i'm seeing, cos their vibes seem very low.

I went through the threads on quora and yes, i think i got the differences.
Kenyans tend to be more like Nigerians while Tanzanians tend to be more like Ghanaians. This is the reason why most Ghanaians think Nigerians are too rough, disrespectful and abusive

At the end of the day, Nigerians and Kenyans have something in common. LoL. We would have made a good pair if we were neighbouring countries. don't you think?
