Exactly. I have observed that these Kenyans really have low self esteem. They know so much about Nigeria than some of them even know about their own Kenya. They spend their day and nights om Nigerian platforms just as many Africans want to know about USA.
They always feel very precious, massage their little egos or feel some sense of hope when Nigerians engage them in conversations and debates. You can see the eagerness and desperation in them.

Well, i feel they should just continue, at least, this makes many Nigerians to know that even though we are not there yet, at least we have many people looking up to us and wishing they could be us.

I am from the north, but i was born, bred and still living in the South. Infact, it sometimes seem to me as if i love the south more than my own North-central region.

I am not ashamed to admit it that Southernerns are the backbone of Nigeria. 80% of the wealth, natural rescources, human rescources and creativity of Nigeria is from the South. Without the South, northern Nigeria would have been somewhat like a bigger form of Niger republic because northern leaders have completely missed it.
This hardworking, adventurous, determined and smart nature of Southern Nigerians is what has actually and unfortunately been negatively viced to make some of them keep on bringing insult and disgrace to us from foreigners by their dubious means. However i accept it as i know that every society has it's ills too.
We central Nigerians and northernerns are more laid back and it is also what has made us less innovative and productive like the southernerns and at the same time bringing less shame to the country im the aspect of crime.
However, the truth is that the Southern lifestyle and mentality is gradually penetrating the north and it has taken about half of my own region (central Nigeria) and is spreading northwards and with time we may be no different from the average southerner. Many core-northernerns are now regretting their lifestyle because it is now obvious to them that their style has kept them in poverty and backwardness.

So, you can see that Nigerians are all actually getting together and with time, the divisions will gradually fall as poverty and illiteracy reduces.

Who told you that Nigerians don't use mobile money? We dont have Mpesa doesnt mean we don't do mobile money. Ours is just in form of mobile banking. We use our mobile banking apps to transfer money across the world and pay bills at the spot, through our mobile banking apps and E-transact. And that is how it is done in most of W.Africa.
Is that any different from what Mpesa offers?

This all takes us back to the same ish.
Kenya nor the whole E. Africa has absolutely nothing on the life of the average Nigerian or W. African.
At least, no Nigerian, W. African or SubSaharan African can deny the influence of South African satelite television ( DSTv and Gotv), among others like Mtn and Shoprite which also has a large influence on a large part of the continent.
Nigeria's entertainment industry covers the whole SubSaharan Africa and is even penetrating Northern Arab Africa. Same thing with our banks which are the biggest players in Africa, our fashion industry and our churches.

I can't speak for Central Africa or Southern Africa because i have never lived there, but anything you mention i believe should have influence on the life of the average W.African (as the largest region of the continent)!

The Kenyans say too much rubbish. I still use mobile money everyday in Nigeria and am not limited to that cause I still use my mobile banking app to do any form of transaction online which is still not common in Kenya.

Exactly the same way the whites were able to drive out the blacks from Europe was the same way Muslims were able to conquer Christian Sudan and North/South American nations were able to drive out their European colonialists/fathers/father nations.

Why were there only a few cars on the roads? We all know that the European colonialists were nothing but petty thieves, who looted extremely more and invested extremely less.
Talking about the 10% literacy before independence, if not for the missionaries who were inspired by the selflesness of christian doctrines and seriously promoted education, i bet that 10% would have been 1 or 0.5%. This is what has really affected most core-northerners till date and made them very much educationally backward because they rejected the missionaries under agreement with the same demonic british coloniaists.

Most importantly though, I saw certain places you've referred to the Chinese reemergence and how it can apply to the African continent and I have certain concerns about their feasibility. To start with, China is one nation. The Chinese people have a shared heritage which includes their history, culture, traditions and language. There may be minor variations in dialects and inflections and traditions and cultures amongst various subgroups in the Chinese nation , but by an large, a Chinese person understands another Chinese person. But in the African setting, the highest likelihood of finding two African nations that speak similar languages is very low and where you find those, the countries in question are usually neighbors or close to each other. Unfortunately, Africa is a large continent. You don't even need to go to another end of the continent to find a people that speak a completely different language and have completely different cultures. Heck, you don't even need to go across a subregion to find such. A subregion might even be too large an entity; within countries, you would find subgroups of completely different cultures and languages. I mean, look at Nigeria. How many tribes do we have with how many unique cultures, traditions, ideals and languages? With so much diversity (to the point that some of us think there should even be further division), how can we create a united Africa? While I personally don't believe that language, culture or even skin color should be a barrier to unity, I can't deny that they play important roles in keeping us united. So, if we want to create a unified African nation/state, under what banner are we uniting, considering differences in culture, traditions, languages and even skin color and religion?

Go and study the different dialects of chinese and you would observe that although they sound the same, majority of them have no mutual intelligiblity.
When am talking of dialects here, i do not mean the Mandarin and Cantonese which are the only 2 major dialects in China today. Am talking of older dialects like the Native Shangai dialect and many other native dialects which are on the verge of extinction.

It is on record by linguists that Shanghainese (the native dialect of Shanghai people) for example is completely unintelligible with the official Beijing dialect (Mandarin). Both dialects are as different from each other as Igbo and Yoruba, but to a non-chinese like you, they appear the same because they sound the same, exactly as the average Chinese person sees most African language (to sound the same).

All the Chinese did was to force Beijing dialect (Mandarin) on the whole country as the official unifying language and all other language speakers had to drop their own native languages. Expect this to work as a communist country that China is. That was how Russian afterall was forced on all Soviet states and till date, the elderly and middle aged people of former soviet states have equal command in Russian as in their own native tongues and Russian even started infiltrating their own languages to make it look like their own original native languages and Russian were very similar.

The Hindi speakers have been trying this method to unify all of India with Hindi language, but as usual in a non-communist entity like India, the minority language groups all have their say and rejected Hindi as their unifying language.

All Africans have to do is pick the most powerful language in the continent and make it the overall official language and everyone learns it and overtime we all become native speakers, but this can only happen in a unified nation and most likely to work in a communist settings where people are forced to do things.

It hasn't been wiped out. What has happened is that the black originators of what you see today have been deliberately concealed/hidden from public knowledge. Kept away from education systems and the media.

For instance the great Moorish palaces of Spain, which served as the model for subsequent European palaces, are still standing there in Spain. You can visit them, and tour the area. The great advances made by the Moors in mathematics, astronomy, and the sciences, led to current advances. So the traces are easily found.

But once you fail to acknowledge the fact that those achievements were the work of black Moors from Africa, and instead, you credit earlier white ancestors, or Arabs, for those feats, you effectively ''wipe out'' all traces of black involvement in those achievements.

This, the whites have done with ruthless efficiency. Heck, they even went to the extent of going to Egypt to knock off the noses from the Sphinx and other ancient Egyptian statues and sculptures, in order to disguise their African features. So you can imagine what they did in their own countries of Europe, to destroy evidence of their African heritage. Many paintings of their ancient elite have been 'whitened'. Many place names changed to European names etc etc. Hollywood films show whites acting the part of ancient black heroes, from Moses to Jesus and Mary, and from the Pharaohs to the various black European monarchs of antiquity. ALL are played by white actors to conceal the truth, and 'rewrite history'.

Also, don't forget we are talking a long time ago here. Some of the more recent artefacts and paintings posted above are dated to 600 years ago! The ones just posted by Horus, showing black kings on Greek coins, date back several thousand years!

So we're talking a very long time ago here. Regarding the Moors, don't forget they led Europe from the 8th to the 17th century. That's 900 years! So their end had to come at some point. They couldn't just be there forever. Eventually the host population will develop the desire and wherewithal to overthrow you, and reclaim their land, and you will be forced to leave. This happens throughout history. No condition is permanent as they say. Even the current civilization we have today will one day be extinguished, or radically altered, such that if you come here in say 500 years time, it will be totally unrecognisable. That's just life. New developments and ideas will overtake the old.



Unduly pessimistic. China was underdeveloped in the 1970s. It took them less than 30 years to become the the major superpower and industrial powerhouse they are today. They did this by looking inwards, by banning western imports, reducing corruption, and investing in agriculture and manufacturing. African countries that pursue a similar course will see good results going forward. It will probably be easier for Africa to do this as a single unit like China, than for individual countries to implement such policies, as they might attract western sanctions. This is why many African intellectuals suggest African political unification, in order to push policies that can really transform the continent. The AU actually has as its ultimate objective, African unification.

Comparing Kenya with only 2 cities to Nigeria with over 40 cities developing at the same time is a disgrace. The population of Nairobi is just 3 million and the surrounding towns will bring the population to about 6 million. Now tell us where the other Kenyans live? Could it be in villages or bushes where they jump from tree to tree drinking animal blood?

Please don't forget that Nairobi which is Kenya's capital have the largest slum in Africa with over 1.2 million inhabitant. Another report which i posted here earlier shows Nairobi has almost 200 slums and this is the major reason why UN habitat HQ have to be located in Nairobi Kenya.

The self deceiving Kenyans should be ashamed to talk where Nigerians gather. The biggest project since your independence is a 400 kilometer railway line from mombasa to Nairobi which is expected to put Kenya in Great debt.

A very irrelevant country that claims 2000mw of electricity provide 47 million people 24 hours electricity. Now you begin to wonder if industries even exist there at all. Ghana produce over 2000mw of electricity and with just about 25 million people still complain of power sometimes.

Nigeria will become big and famous in sports and entertainment to the point that the country will be winning olympic golds and silvers not only in football but in others sport as well.

Africa economy might be mismanaged and will experience little development compare other region in africa.

Exactly. U see, it is known worldwide that Nigeria has so much great potentials. Our biggest set back was the military rule and civil war which plunged Nigeria many years back ward. If not for these 2 major factors, Nigeria would have undoubtedly by far been the most advanced country in Africa.
However, the pace has been set, we have began to invest massively in the non oil sector. Imagine Nigeria already coming out of reccession even with the low world oil price.
The future is too bright for Nigeria.

Maybe they dont know this in Naija but your pastors should probably get another name, they are not pastors but Conmen. What is the local word for conman there? Absolute conmen, pests sucking blood from a dying animal. They Steal from the Poor. But I guess that still counts as a well respected industry in Naija. Who knows, nigerians are capable of anything.

Some ignorant people forget that Charity work is the backbone of these churches. The charity projects embarked by these churches is just inestimable. If u want, i can start showing you endless charity projects embarked on by Nigerian churches even abroad.

These churches bring in a lot of foreigners to the country, many whom even decide to settle permanently in Nigeria, work here and invest here.
Do u know how many hotels and other local services your country people alone patronise while in Nigeria for religious visits?
These same churches also employ people for some services and patronise traders and manufacturers for their products.
