THERE IS FRAUD IN OUR POPULATION DATA, JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE TABLE AND SEE
This statistic to a good extent also help to show states with higher indigenous populations.
Imo state has always been the highest not because they go to school more than other southernerns but because they have a higher population of indigenes.

what are dey kipn up....Imagine 142000 students doin an exam nd jst 29000 gained admission, dey seems to v a larger admission number cos the number of students writing the exam frm the state is 2 much.....dey v a very poor percentage of students gainin admission each year check it again
The problem with Imo state is that the state has a high population of indigenes. This is why i think the south-east needs an additional state.

Hmm. I am more interested in the percentage of students admitted. Why are Northern states comparatively favoured in this critical aspect?

Dull states like Adamawa, Kebbi, Zamfara, et al... How the heck do they have higher percentages of admitted students even though they have dramatically lower numbers of applicants?
because they have their own state and federal universities, polythecnics and colleges in their own states which consider their own people first when it comes to admission.

Sokoto, zamfara and fct been holding failure record for years....
FCT does not have many indigenes. Sokoto and Zamfara are real states and they are the educational failures who dont go to school here, but FCT indigenes just occupy only 5 LGAs, they are very small in population.
EducationRe: JAMB Application And Admission Data By Gender And State Of Origin Released - NBS by Nowenuse:
This statistic to a good extent also helps to show states with higher indigenous populations.

Imo state has always been the highest not because they go to school more than other southernerns but because they have a higher population of indigenes. For the core-north it is a different story.

This statistic reflects according to your state of origin and not the state where one sat for the examination.

So, people from Imo or Delta state should know that their states have higher population of Indigenes than others and not necesarily a higher resident or scholarly population. Cos i can see many people with pure misconceptions of these statistics commenting rubbish all over.

hehehe, Why you de run naa, tell us how telco data is valid for population when multiple registration is allowed or go and sleep. FCT is more populated than rivers in your telco.
Do u think FCT of 2006 is the same with that of 2017?. Abuja is currently the fastest growing city in Africa and the population is growing so fast and explosively due to the deemed opportunities in the land.

If a census ia conducted 2moro, only Lagos city will surpass Abuja in population, and when it comes to states, Kano and Oyo states may surpass FCT.
Abuja urban area is currently estimated at 6 million people, not adding the other numerous satelite towns springing up everywhere, even down to neighbouring Niger and Nasarawa states.

You have female friends? Ask them. I thought u were against wearing extensions at all. Now u are saying what? We should wear african ones? Or ours? Last I checked, it wasn't a crime. The Brazilians, Indians etc have been blessed with beautiful hair. Please free us. It is not a matter of pride. Or is It only my hair that will show whether I am proud of being african or not? I see something I like, I go for it. Nothing like whether I have pride for my continent or not. This argument is just one kain. Half the guys on this forum have babes, friends, sisters, aunts, even mothers that wear one form of attachment or the other. Be it braids, wigs, weavons (synthetic or real). Dem go open mouth say "ah you look fine" coming to the Internet to start asking these 21 questions no make sense. Still go and ask a friend how much time and money and stress and pain goes into maintaining african hair. You talk like you don't know. Of course you won't. You are a guy. Or you think we like combing rubber everyday? Or putting relaxer all the time? Take a chill pill mehn. Weaves do protect hair abeg. If you don't believe it, no p. I don talk my own
As much as u sound right, i'd like to correct the misperception u have of my opinion. I as well as many black men are not against black women wearing extensions if they must, all we emphasize on is for you to wear extensions that defines who you are or make u look african. Just like the beautiful one u have on you.

You look gorgeous! grin

Even if u cannot keep your hair 100% natural, most black men are ok with an afrocentric hair extension.

But seriously, be sincere, how would u black women feel if u saw us (black men) carrying white men's hair on us? A typical black man with Donald Trump's or Bill Gates kinda hair?
We would look ridiculous, fake, irritating and hideous! That's just the way a proper black woman looks when on White styled extensions.

We black men keep it real (100% african) and that is why we are the most wanted of the male specie by women of all races. We are proud of who we are!
And all we wish is for our ladies to do same!

Funny thing is that you wouldnt even know an Etche man if you met one. You have probably met Etches and thought they were Igbos because essentially, there is no difference between their names and their language than me from Anambra.

Im yet to hear of any Etche man who has denied being Igbo, Ikwerre is a different issue.
I have come across so many etches denying igbo in PH, just that they have more pro-igbos unlike Ikwerre.
Have u stayed in PH for a long time?
If yes, u will observe that about half of etches deny igbo, another half accept it, while some among these halves act confused.
As for Ikwerre, it's just very evident, only 1 in 10 Ikwerres will agree to be Igbo.
This is what i experienced in PH.

They have hair issues too. Then they resort to hair extensions. You didn't think we were the only ones that used them did you? It's not a crime for a lady to want to look good biko. Our hair challenges may not be the same but we are all women. Our insecuries are the same.
Yes, white women use hair extensions that look like their own original hair, why can't black women if they must use extensions, use one that looks like their own original african hairstyle? Why must black women wanna look white?
You buy brazillian hair, Indian hair, Peruvian hair e.t.c, are u so ashamed of being African?

Na all of us go carry low cut? I don't like low cut on women personally. We r women. Not men. And as for the afro,do you really think it is easy to maintain? Ask around.
There are different styles that suit african women, including braiding, weaving, threading, afro, lowcut e.t.c. As long as it is african, it looks ok.

Talking abt the difficulty afro, do u think white women do not also have their own stress in maintaining their own natural hair? Do you know how much their hair sheds off?

PoliticsRe: We Are No Longer Comfortable Being Part Of Nigeria - Igbo Leaders. by Nowenuse: 6:32pm On Feb 17, 2017
aloziedaya:
The Igbo's are the only tribe in Nigeria that believe in 'one Nigeria' and that is where their problem lies. If you are dealing with a Hausa man, he first thinks of his religion and ethnicity, a Yoruba man thinks of his ethnicity first but an Igbo man thinks of one Nigeria. If you come to the east you hardly see any structure built by a Hausa man or Yoruba but, travel all over Nigeria the Igbo's are developing them bearing in mind the 'one Nigeria' syndrome.
The Igbo man's quest for wealth has robbed him of his sense of belonging. That is why they develop other cities while theirs lay bare. Lagos today is developed by the igbos. Imagine what would happen if the igbo businesses in Lagos are in the east. Every major market in Lagos is dominated by them; ALABA INTERNATIONAL, TRADEFAIR, COMPUTER VILLAGE, LADIPO AUTO MARKET, BERGER AUTO MARKET, IDUMOTA etc. These are the backbone of Lagos state. They'll tell you that the seaport is in Lagos but, the largest motorcycle spare parts market in Africa is in Nnewi and, it is striving without any seaport in the east.
Have you imagined what would have happened if these markets are dominated by the hausas? Or the Yorubas dominating these markets in another state? Of course they would have transfered them to their areas.
Igbo's need to rethink and realize their mistakes. Develop your own. If you make billions in lagos and the billions are still reinvested in Lagos, you've not made anything. Aku ruo ulo amara onye nwe ya. Igboland will develop when we make wealth outside and send it home. The houses you build in Lagos because of the appreciation rate of Lagos can be built equally in the east to boost the appreciation rate there. Lagos is appreciating because you've developed it, do same down home.
Politically, Igbo's are marginalized because they are seen as divided people who cannot come together with one voice.
The extremely greedy and capitalistic nature of Igbos will never allow them develop their own lands like others because their own homeland is too competitive, hence they have to go elsewhere where they feel they can easily dominate, outsmart and catch others mugu.

Your greed and avariciousness is your problem!

Nationalism indeed can be forced. Go and learn how it was done in Tanzania.
Tanzania has succeeded in Swahili-nizing all it's people and most of them have abandoned their tribal and native languages and become native swahili speakers.
Tribal languages are banned in Tanzania. They cannot be used or broadcasted publicly and thr Tanzanian govt made sure to deploy people to work away from their own hometowns in order to force them to live with each other, speaking only Swahili which is the official language.

The census should include biometric data capturing, BVN number for those that have bank account, HAUSA SHOULD BE SEPARATED FROM FULANIS, let's us know the population of Hausa and the population of Fulanis, they may be all Muslim, that's is OK.

If possible let all the people without national ID indicate if in the census and be captured. A thorough census will The help us immensely to eliminate many atrocities in this society, it will help in effective planning and if backed with biometric data capture, will minimise terrorism, kidnapping, robbery etc. Please lets add our voice to encourage NPC to capture as much information as possible.
I am from the middlebelt too. If u think u can seperate Hausas from fulanis in places like Kano, Zaria, Katsina and Kaduna, then u are mistaking.
A lot of them will tell u that they are Hausa-fulanis because that's what their parents told them.
What about a lot of Bauchi people who have abandoned their native languages and now speak only Hausa? They too will also claim to be Hausas.
