NairobiWalker:The drone video shows mostly low middleClass neighborhoods or would you say the houses in this first picture are high middle class houses? How different is this first picture from the drone video and the 2nd and 3rd pictures from lower income homes of the same Surulere? The only major difference I see is that the first picture features a lawn garden at the centre and looks neater while the others do not.

NairobiWalker: nwoke37:Hahahaha, see this mugu. I can see many highrises and even a sky scapper there. Is that a low income neighborhood? ![]() Try again |
NairobiWalker:Okay, let us agree with you that Ojuelegba is a slum. So, can we compare it with Kibera? That is Kenyan slums vs Nigerian slums? ![]() Either ways, you still appear stupid. Lol |
NairobiWalker:KiberaWalker, so, what exactly is your argument right now? I am still waiting on you to show me the lower income areas of nairobi. Is this the way you are going to evade and chicken out? |
NairobiWalker:Yes, I am glad that you can show the world how most of the poorest Nigerians live. Can you be proud to show the world the massive slums in which most of the poorest Kenyans live? Hell no. Compare that picture of the poorest areas of Lagos to Kibera and judge ![]() |
NairobiWalker:So, is this enough excuse for you not to show us the low income areas of Nairobi? What a shame! |
nwoke37:Don't mind the slowpoke. This was my first comment on Ojuelegba in this thread. I claimed it was predominantly low income and low middleclass. He is now forcing words into my mouth since he cannot prove his assertions.
|
NairobiWalker:If you cannot show me where I claimed that Surulere was a pure middleclass suburb here on this site, then you are mad. This was my first comment on Surulere here on this thread, where I claimed that it was mostly a low middleclass and low income area. Can't you read english anymore?
|
NairobiWalker:You are really high on weed. I told you that Surulere was a mixed suburb with mostly low middleclass and low income areas, where did I ever say Surulere was magnificently middle class? If I wanted to do pure middleclass areas in Lagos, I would have talked about Festac, Lekki, Gbagada, Ikeja, Ikoyi, etc. Meanwhile, I want to show you houses from Ojuelegba available for rent. Since you called it a slum. Can't you see how ignorant you are? Meanwhile I am still waiting for you to show me the low income areas of nairobi.
|
NairobiWalker:Hahahaha, so the best picture of Ojuelegba you could find was a demolished area? That area was demolished of illegal structures cos we do not tolerate such in Nigeria. Can you see residential houses from your picture? Show me the residential houses in Ojuelegba let us see if they are like Kibera. Look at the Ojuelegba you are comparing with Kibera, are you sure that you are not high on cheap weed?
|
NairobiWalker:The majority of Langata voters come from Kibera? ![]() This tells us of the emptiness of the large middleclass langata constituency. Surulere is small but highly populated. Why do kenyans prefer living in slums?
|
NairobiWalker:We do not have massive slums in Nigeria like Kenya, so our low income earners may live in crappier houses. At least they do not live in slums like the 1 million slum dwellers of Kibera. You forgot to tell me that you are talking about Langtana constituency of which Karen (one of Kenya's most affluent neighborhoods) is part of, that's why it is 223km². Are you not ashamed? |
NairobiWalker:Good that you said 'some'. What is the percentage of these nice villages of the thousands of villages all over the nook and crannies of predominantly rural Kenya? |
NairobiWalker:You have resorted to insults since you have nothing to offer. Ok, can you define suburbs and estates? Are they the same? Surulere is a suburb of Lagos while Madaraka is an estate. Is that so hard for you to understand? I exposed you but you did not expose me because I clearly gave you other pictures of clearly lower income areas of Surulere. Why did you not give me lower income areas of Madaraka? Of, I forgot, it is a single estate and not a suburb. Assess your own self, do you think you have anything upstairs?
|
Jay254:I know, but does that mean that Kenyan villagers live in comfort? Then if it was that good in Kenya, then your country would have been ranked with the largest middleclass population in Africa, but apparently only 10% of Kenyans are considered middleclass. |
NairobiWalker:No please. Enlighten me more, can you please? |
Jay254:Do you watch local Nigerian TV stations? I watch a Kenyan local TV station and did not just make my conclusions based on what I see on CNN or foreign news. |
Jay254:Google Kenyan villages and let us see the outcome. ![]() |
Jay254:You are a terrible liar. All the Kenyan villages I see on news look like those from the stone age era. |
NairobiWalker:I did not show you any nice house in that Surulere video. I showed you a drone view covering thousands of metres of an entire suburb. Get the difference. You showed us higher income estates and not even a suburb. And I exposed their high rent costs to you. You pointed out Middle income houses in Surulere and I proved to you Surulere being very mixed and even more low income. Where are the nice buildings in this video below? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1-Y4EXfY-k Do all low income Nairobians live in estates? Show us your own low income suburbs and not estates or shut the fcck up. |
Jay254:Only 3 cities with populations above 500,000 in Kenya, a country of 50 million people? |
NairobiWalker: Nowenuse:Don't be deceived by the modern houses you see in Surulere. The lower income areas are more.
|
NairobiWalker:Yes, these are the cheaper low class neighborhoods in Surulere. You don't find them for rent online. There are around 1 million people in Surulere. And it is a mixed neighborhood
|
NairobiWalker:In Surulere for instance there are still quality middleclass estates where a 3 bedroom flat can cost as low as $2,700 per annum. However, you can also find a 3 bedroom flat in the lower income areas for as low as $1,300 per annum. So, you can see that it is a completely mixed suburb.
|
NairobiWalker:No I am trying to understand Nairobi. If this is truly the rent being paid for a 3 bedroom flat in madaraka, Nairobi west. Then it is a high middle class estate.
|
Jay254:Madaraka is an estate in Langata from what I can see. |
Jay254:We know that Nairobi CBD is beautiful. Victoria Island, Lagos Island etc are also beautiful. Can you please show us low middleClass and low income suburbs of Nairobi? Their names too. |
Jay254:Tell us the names of these places and their populations if possible. This area looks like a high middle class and rich area. I said low middleClass and low income. Pls get the difference. |
Nowenuse:So, no little Indian here can show us suburbs where low middleclass and low income Kenyans live? So, apart from the slums in Nairobi, the CBD and the estates where rich Indians and whites dominate, nothing else? |
Famocious:So, why the name Lola? Are you sure? I thought her mum was Yoruba |
buhariguy:Shut up your filthy mouth, why do you tribalize incompetence? Are Igbos the major victims of fulani herdsmen and insecurity in the country? |
NairobiWalker, rvp20182. I am waiting for your adorable Kenyan middle and low income suburbs. This is Surulere, a large suburb of Lagos. We know they are box houses. This is where typical low middleclass and low income Nigerians live. Let's see that of Kenya. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1-Y4EXfY-k |
