shamecurls:Absolutely Sir Just get started! |
twaintoy:Very straight forward process Go to WES website, click on WES Canada (top right hand corner) Go to Educational Credential Assessment ECA for CIC Get started Click on Apply, fill up the form, Pay the fees online Get your ECA Number...scribble it down somewhere. Go to your School, Tell them your want to apply for transcript and for what purpose Chances are that other people processing EE have also done similar thing so they probably have a format/template already. You need to include your ECA Number on your transcript, so they can identify that the transcript is yours, You will send the hard copy, sealed and addressed with your ECA Number WES will prepare your ECA and send you electronic copy to your email. and that's all you need for the EE process |
when it comes to topics like this you will see ladies flood here like pack of hyenas, the one on how to make your man happy, you no go see their breaklight! chauvinist!!! |
badenugba:Thanks Badenugba Good results, Canada is looking for people like you ![]() Feel free to ask your questions on this platform so that others can learn and be informed and also you can get varying answers from other contributors which can equally be helpful, |
Ariel20:yes my dear you really do, ladies are generally more addicted than guys! They use the most expensive smartphone, they change smart phones every birthday. I saw a gul once with 2 BB phones and one Samsung galaxy...guess what? she has 3 BBM profiles, three whatsapp profiles. There is no difference btw her and the mad woman on the street of Lagos! My dear addiction is really an under-statement! |
bigfido:Infact good news for all HND holders, WES values HND alot, ofcos the course content is rigorous hence the appreciation. Last year before i ventured into EE, i was thinking of graduate school in the US, so i decided to evaluate my HND & OND with WES USA, I had a 3.54/4 HND Mechanical Engineering (distinction) when i graduated many years ago. The result of the evaluation was a BSc(Hons) 3.7/4 Mechanical Engineering. I was surprise, that's a first class with almost a double honor. According to them i can use that evaluation in any institution that is a client to WES, many of which are some of the top schools in the world, including IV league schools in the US like Havard and Stanford and yet no Nigerian university will accept my HND for MSc in Mechanical Engineering Looking at this case, one would think our standard is higher I had to do a top up degree to be relevant in Nigeria. Advise all your friends, coligs with HND to look towards north America. ![]() . |
bigfido:Good info Bigfido, however you're kind of wrong about the HND. If you submit your HND+OND Credentials, WES translates it as a 3year College diploma and a one year PGD Certificate. So technically, CIC doesn't care how long it took you to get each diploma, all they check is what WES translates. So in the profile form, you will enter "Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer" as your level of education and that fetches you 128points for single and 119 for married. If you have only OND on the other hand, WES Translates it to a 2 year college diploma only, you fall under the "Two-year post-secondary program credential" level of education and that's 91 for married and 98 for single. Hence like you stated, for him to maximize his points, his wife has to be the principal applicant! |
badenugba:Do that first before posting a score ![]() |
toluene23:OMG Bulgaria ![]() what are you going to do thr? you better don't waste your money and find somewhr better to go or do something useful with your life! |
sanc2s:Father: Son i want you to go to University of Ajanlekoko and learn Son: No Dad, i don't want to learn, i prefer cultism ![]() hehehehehehe That's the pathetic interpretation of your mssg! Abeg these NL guys no go kill person with laugh.. |
princesdee:well in that case you need to learn how not to make your spouse have faults , ok seriously now, most faults are never isolated, somehow, in some ways its all connected, even if its his fault, you probably would have played a role that would have averted the turn of event. i think the big question we should ask is..what didn't i do right? what could i have done to avert the situation? we've all got lessons to learn! some lesson could even be how not to make the wrong choice of a spouse! |
badenugba:Your age is a big boost. HND gives you two certificates according to WES, a 3yr diploma and a one year post graduate diploma and that's a huge advantage. If your IELTS is very good then you should be above 400. ![]() |
poseman:my score is 396...Am not sure if it's dropped. |
scrollmeout:I really understand his worry, talking about your friend. 415, hmmm that's quite high. he still stands a better chance than those of us below the 400 margin. Sry about your drop in points, it may not matter much except you fall on the border line. I think one critical factor that determine the number of invites is the number of qualified points in particular range! i fear that a lot of us "foreigners" hang in the 300+ range, that will definitely make their invite alot more tighter if they have a target to meet for every batch of invite like we saw from 469 to 453!. Meeen i don do the maths taya. use all the statistical tool known to man, probability, standard deviation, mean, median, mode is this happening to any of us or is it just me running out of my freakiing mind!!? |
Is thr anyone with a CRS overall score above 400? The way CIC is going about this thing, hope they aint going to peg invitations at 400! How can they dangle around 453 for 2 months....dem know no say our blood dey hot! |
bolinchin:Its IELTS by barron, the back cover is white background and brown print i think. its just adequate. |
Joshcoli:if you live in lagos, go to tejuosho market and get ielts book, it's jst N2,500. READ it digest it, practice, cook up all sort of scenarios in your head, talk abt them in front of the mirror, share with your girlfriends/wife or anybody close to you. my least was 7.5! works like magic ![]() forget this online thing bro. Anyone else with IELTS issues, guess i can help |
echeoluchi:you don't need to do that just yet, your EE profile or application form has a portion for online IELTS Score, you just need to fill that up and also indicate your IELTS registration number. At this level i.e creating your profile, you really don't need any documentation, but ensure that anything you state in your profile tallies with whats in your documents. hope that helps |

Why are we always so quick at tagging eevery act done against blacks racial. Before now did we hear Nigerians were maltreated in India .. No! If the Nigerians were caught dealing drugs so be it? because am sure they must be wondering wat are the fu'kers doing here aint we super populated already! And that's my question exactly wtf are Nigerians looking for in a country of more than a billion ppl Indians are flooding 9ja everyday cos they know they have better opportunities here, I understand when we go to india for medical reasons but for greener pastures? ? This 'I won travel' mentality is bullshhhht |
sheniqua: Take the FPGE Foreign pharmacy graduate examination,he says it is the first thingthanks for the info, i'll inform her about it. I hope she will be willing to go the extra mile cos most women are reluctant when it comes to academic pursuit, you have to give them a serious push to get things done ( you dont av to agree with me on that ) On my own i'll help her to do some research on it. We should be in the US in january ( my first time ) i hope the weather won't be that bad! We can do more findings when we come. Lol @ the bold print... Aunti osisi your reward is in heaven ![]() |
sheniqua: I don't think the pharmd will take 4 years with someone who already has a Bpharmexactly my point, sincerely I didn't even know about the pharm licensing and am sure she doesn't too. I'll do my research so we know when and how to start while she prepares for her MBA. For me, I had always felt inclined towards Canada and it sure holds lots of career prospect for me. Though Canadian schls are expensive but I think the give faster ROI. I may try visiting next year so i can make a formed decision. By God's grace everything will fall in place. I want to believe babyosisi = sheniqua, madam u don try, i am very impressed by ur wealth of knowledge graced by experience. Thanks for being a blessing. |
@ Sheniqua Thank you so much for takin your time to respond I really do appreciate. As for her case, personally I am not in support of the MBA and I have made my position very clear from the onset, I also made her to understand that a PharmD will be preferable, but to be sincere with you, going through another 4 yrs to get a pharmD having spent 6 yrs in sch back in Nigeria is difficult. She doesn't really wnt to go through that ordeal. Secondly, the owner of the pay cheque is saying he wants MBA and that's what he's payin for. So some how our hands are tied except I decide foot the bill myself believe me I don't have such funds. So you see the long duration the pharmD program and the dad insistence on the MBA prog are the major reasons she's going that route. So we are considering health related MBA programs. What do you think? |
@ babyosisi, still waiting for your response ma. |
fratochi: . My friend you sound like an educated and informed person but need I remind you that respect for peoples opinion and good manners (rather than insults and fowl speaking) is still part of education. I guess you get my message now! Mr MARINE ENGINEER! Without manners! God bless you real good! @ babyosisi please my. Post still needs ur response inspite of the rude interruption. Thanks again.Jezzzzz engineer without manners! That's really bad for the Profession lol seriously now, Fratochi no vex abeg, u know say everybody get problem for this country and we all dey find find solution to our issues, I took my time to go through the whole thread and as I was about to share mine I come begin see "i need a wife". If you were in my shoes wetin you go do. I had to nip it in the bud at some point. No vex bros, it would interest you to know some one like babyosisi introduced my fiancé to me... So fratochi you are on track. Wish your brother the very best. Yours Sincerely Nozzle |
fratochi: . Hi babyosisi, once again I am amazed at your patience and verse knowledge that's evident in the way you respond to practically every question asked on this thread! More grace! But on a lighter note, the highlighted post caught my attention, not for my self though (because I am happily married to the best wife in the world lol!) ,but for my immediate younger brother. He is an engineer (mechanical/production), presently working with a power firm here in abuja nigeria, so what's up? Are you for real? If yes then we can take it up from there. He is not on nairaland though, but I can handle all correspondence. Thanks in advance.bros take this ur wife hunting adventure to the romance/ dating section abeg let's focus on real issues here at least the reason for the thread. if if your brother, with his good credential and good job cannot find a wife for himself make he go wash him head for bar beach! @ aunty osisi, na u biko, I can't thank you enough for this thread. for some of us you have answered some very critical questions we really had no answer to. I am a marine engr working here in nigeria my fiancé is a pharmacist currently lives n works in nigeria too. She just gt her PR (green card)last yr through her dad who is a medical doctor in d states and ofcos a citizen. Now the dad wants her to come for her MBA and work in the US. I am fine with that cos I am also considering doing my MSc in process control eng and work in the main stream energy sector and not shipping where I have worked as a marine eng here in Nigeria. However, i have my fears and the major ones are funding and time. MSc in US is 2 yrs, I will have to leave my job for 2 years. Within which we wud defintely get married and surely that's more expensive. Though her father will sponsor her MBA program as promised but I still have my reservations, what of If he decides to pull out after our marriage. As for the 2 years MSc program my company will not give a 2-yr study leave in other words going for MSc in the US is auto resignation for me. Uk schools on the other hand are a lot favorable I even got a school in Canada that offers process control eng MEng on just one year. So the questions are; how well do US fancy MSc from other countries like UK and Canada? Are there one year MSc degrees in eng. How available are jobs in d energy sector in the US? Is MBA ideal for my fiancé? She has BSc in Pharmacy from Nigeria. How can we use her status as a green card holder to our advantage? Hope u understand my story. The thing dey confuse me self lol |
It's expensive. Come down wt doz prices and gt genuine buyers. Hw can u sell a plot for 6m when I can get 4m behind Mayfair gardens. |
Is this real house or photoshop? Na wa o, even the scam you no sabi am. |
Whr is ds magboro ? |

and yet no Nigerian university will accept my HND for MSc in Mechanical Engineering
