Lol. God made the first man and woman perfect but they could still sin and disobey God? Nonsense I think there's a reason God kept that tree there. He needed them to eat it so he can blame their imperfections on it. That's if the story in the Bible is true. Because it doesn't make sense. |
Some people will even want to use disease and conflicts to support their argument that the world is getting worse. But truth is we are in one of the most peaceful times in history and one of the most healthy times too. All thanks to science. |
He may be right. But it isn't so simplistic. And it has nothing to do with God. Pastors have influence, more influence than u imagine, because they sell people hope and freedom from damnation. And their influence on both the good and bad people is what brings them their riches. A real estate mogul can gift a pastor part of his land freeing the pastor from expending part of his own money. A well placed banker can share investment secrets with his pastor telling him how to game the system or how to invest part of the tithes and offerings he collects in church rightly and reap a lot. He can also give the pastor a share of his own schemes or salary as tithe and offerings. A business man can expose the pastor to his own business and help the pastor enter into the market easily using part of the tithes and offerings he gets in church and multiplying it. Imagine getting business ideas free from more than one person at a time. And even when the pastor has an idea but doesn't have enough liquid cash to start it, he can call for offerings to raise the money in the blink of an eye. Anybody with this kind of influence on a lot of people will always use it to his advantage and it doesn't matter if he is a Christian or Muslim or Shaman or philosopher. Fact!!! Pastors can easily get loan from banks, something the average person can't do, because their credit rating is high and banks know his worth is in the amount of gullible asshats he can muster to raise funds to pay up when the need arises. Also thieves can give part of their loots to pastors. Swindlers can give part of the proceeds of their con to pastors. Same thing with politicians. So nothing special here. |
So Ubi Franklin too is a matured believer? Religion is now a bragging right in this country. Do anything u like, behave however u want, promote anything promotable. Steal as much as u can when occupying an office. But just call the name of a god and make yourself feel better. Nigerian brand of Christianity is a joke. |
Stupid story. So nobody saw the snake coming out? We just have to take her word for it. God go punish everybody wey gather act this film. People, never believe any story of live animals coming out of people's bodies. Why will a spiritual attack need an animal to be alive in a human body. Why not just some spiritual stuff too? On the bright side though, if she didn't have a job before she now has one acting movies for pastors. |
AutoReportNG:Na today Television stations dey lie? Even a CNN reporter that covered Nigeria was caught lying and was sacked much less one village TV in obscure part of Africa. This comment shows u are not very bright. |
AutoReportNG:Nonsense. Because something is on Google doesn't make it true |
Galaxydon1:Unfortunately sense doesn't make sense to lunatics. I understand ur condition. |
As far as we can tell that language is not English or Nigerian so how do we know if this isn't another mischievous blogger with the IQ of a gnat trying to hoodwink his uncles? Secondly, bees can actually stick to a person's hand like that for other reasons other than voodoo. Even bees are used in certain cultures as a cure for certain medical conditions. So how do we know if that's not what is happening in the vid? Thirdly, can the agenda of the reporter be trusted? Anybody can go to a village and get a few local apiary experts to put bees on their hands and narrate a false story for a few change. Then place those stories on the television or blogs to get traffic. We all know those kind of stuff happen in East Africa well. Like all those radio shows where people call in and admit they have been sleeping with dead bodies. |
Penalty82:Stop being a joke. Mad people aren't mad all the time. Madness is cyclical. So u can see a homeless man prone to occasional fits of insanity and then when he is lucid u will claim he has been healed. This guy needs to be watched carefully. He still remains a danger to people around him if he was ever mad |
When will Nigerians learn that not every homeless person is mad. Not every tattered looking derelict with dreadlocks is mad. And not every madness is permanent. There are some madness that are cyclical. So this guy may just have been met when he was in a good state. They better watch him closely in the future. |
Babalawos:Lol. See this hack shaman. You might as well tell him having astigmatism and cataracts is a sign of clairvoyance too. LMAO. You should have just kept quiet instead of this nonsense u wrote. |
Well at least we get to try out some Pacific Rim battles with those kaijus then. Neat. |
ScienceWatch:How far sciencewatch? I have been meaning to ask u where ur twin brother oaroloye is. Hope u are still hearing from him. |
Nostradamus:See this one. You are asking babalawos how to be partially clairvoyant but u haven't asked him if he himself is clairvoyant and proof of it. The number of eager gullible people we have in this generation is alarming. |
Nostradamus:Fraud. |
johnydon22:Lol. U go find the energy |
Hey Johnnydon make sure u put links to each episode on on ur comment like u did for the Job story. Will be easier to follow later. |
butterflyl1on:Hey Jesus o. Guy calm down. Acknowledged the connotation of that word this thread is talking about and easy peasy you guys can continue your discussion. You are allowed to deny u didn't claim atheist are indoctrinated based on that meaning though and then there won't be the need for all this argument. The thread will be closed since it means Jackbizzle misunderstood u. Maybe it's your natural need to antagonize that's at play here though. If not, I don't see why that definition is even a problem. |
People are dishonest sha. When an atheist or any religious sect accuse someone of a different religious sect of being indoctrinated we all know what is meant by that. And it is definitely not just "to teach". The meaning of a word is undergirded by the context in which that word is used. |
terrezo2002:Personal delusion, u mean. Every Tom, Dick and Harry wants to think they are special on Nairaland. If we ask for proof of the encounter now u will start another story. |
terrezo2002:I don't disbelieve in the spirit realm. I just don't believe u know about it like u claim. Why I came after u is because u talked as if u have been there and touched it and used it. But all u have are stories told to u by your pastors who also were told stories or made up their own. |
terrezo2002:It is a waste of time to explain Neverland to a carnal person just like it is fruitless to talk to the dead. Clown ![]() |
terrezo2002:So that means u have no proof for ur demons, where they are situated and their numbers unlike ur last post claimed. |
terrezo2002:How many have u summoned before? |
This guy has been planning this for a very long time. He has been dating that girl even when he was a priest. Most Catholic seminarians I have met have girlfriends and more sex than most of the population. This makes me wonder if he was even actually kidnapped or if that was just a ruse to arrange some money for his wedding and to start his life after he disavowed his priesthood. We all know the Catholic church wouldn't have paid him a dime if he resigned like that. So he may have quickly organized this kidnapping to source for cash to start a life and a family after getting disillusioned with the catholic church and he realised a woman's body is far better than getting stuck in a cubicle listening to the confessions of impenitent hypocrites. This serves the Catholic church right. Allow priests marry una no gree. When they aren't pulling stunts like this, they are sodomizing young boys in their churches. I prefer this to the latter though. Hail Mary. |
Some people think that saying "I saw it with my eyes" lends credibility to their narrative. They forget that that means of observation is one of the most unreliable means available to humans in the 21st century. If only they know how many people have been wrongly convicted and sent to prison because someone could swear he saw the accused committing the crime. Secondly, anybody can come here and lie about seeing someone levitating. And when he is countered, instead of agreeing he may not exactly remember what he saw accurately, he doubles down and lies even more so as to convince himself he is saying the truth. Or his mind just invents details to make his story more sensible to him. We need more proof than "I trust my eyes". |

KingEbukasBlog:You are missing the point of my who argument. My position gives way for multiple beliefs. U can see that since the beginning of this discussion, I have accepted more than one position as what I am inclined to believe. We can't have an infinite regress? How do u know? What if an infinite, or a cyclical one for that matter, regress is actually the norm outside of this universe? Furthermore, even if the regress is finite, what's to say ur own creator is the original cause? Perhaps ur creator also has a creator who has a creator than goes way back to the original cause. I don't believe exactly one thing. I believe in a lot of possible things. |
Shafiiimran99:What sort of stupid question is this? Did u read the OP at all? If u did u won't be coming off as obtuse right now. |
Shafiiimran99:Anyone that was educated past secondary school level and doesn't know about grafting hasn't been paying attention. That's not a problem though. The problem comes when that same person hears about grafting and instead of being gripped by curiosity decides to continue peddling religious hokum as an explanation for what she observed like the OP has done. |
lekkie073:Yeah. I once saw a pig talking too. I don't need anything to prove what I saw live. SMH |
