PoliticsRe: Soludo, Others Join Anambra Governorship Race by NRIPRIEST(m): 12:38pm On Mar 14, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: "Salvage" is not the appropriate term. The person that salvaged Anambra is Peter Obi, whether you like him or not. Soludo will consolidate on what Peter Obi had done if he's elected.
Nwanne, may the almighty injure you with multiple blessings....Peter Obe has writtten his name in GOLD.

Salvage what situation, exactly ? You are very ignorant, dude.
PoliticsRe: Delete This Topic by NRIPRIEST(m): 10:55pm On Mar 13, 2013
manny4life: It depends on what you define as "RICH" or "WEALTH". At the moment, Anambra is the ONLY state with little poverty, opposite of rich.
Indeed Anambra is very much economically stable. She owes nobody and all her sectors are booming. And too,its the state with the least porverty. Lagos,Rivers,Delta and even Akwaibom owes a lot of banks. Anambra might as well be the state with the most vibrant economy in the country. The state is stronger than a lot of people actually know. Anambra has made lots of progress thanks to Pete Obi.

Eze Promoe: That might not even be the original Ide dialect, you know now that almost every persons in Anambra wants to speak like the Awka people. Their own dialect is the sweetest.
Awka dialect is the sweetest ? That's my first hearing...How about Onicha,Obosi,Nkpor and some northern groups like Nando, ogbaru and Anam. You need to reach home more often. Have you ever dated an Nkpor,Obosi,Ogidi or an Onicha chic...danm! Accent sound so good you wanna scream. Awka is too rough and Umuoji speaks one of the hardest Idenmili dialect.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Amnesty Denial For Boko Haram Is Illogical- ACN by NRIPRIEST(m): 11:04pm On Mar 11, 2013
mikeansy: I think ACN can start by listing Boko-Harram's demands and tell Nigerians which of the known Boko Harram demands they wish to concede to. That is what responsible opposition parties do!!!!

ACN should tell Nigerians which of the following demands by Boko Harram they are will to concede to:

1. Suspension of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
2. Practicing Full Blown Sharia in all parts of Nigeria
3. Rejection of Western Education / Civilization
4. Prevention of Girls from going to School

Which of these demands are ACN willing to accept? that should form the basis of any dialogue on amnesty.
What do you expect from a party of inept old rogues like Tinubu,an irrational ill-tempered loudmouth like Okorocha and outdaated politician like Buhari ? I dey laugh in Beafs voice.

Ngwakwe: At last diplomacy triumph over irrationality and lack of due process.

Thanks to every person who helped in talking sense into the head of Fashola against the advise of over-zealous Assistants.

It's time for Fashola to stop making comments that are absurd and irresponsible of a Governor of his caliber. Such statements which include "Go back to your village" and the likes must be erased from his encyclopedia.

I still commend Fashola for listening to voices of reason and shunning his Nairaland-Brothers who wish us ill all their days.

You can't say it any better than this.

CultureRe: Marriage List In Igboland. Isn't This Much? by NRIPRIEST(m): 12:54pm On Mar 11, 2013
Abagworo: This list although mischievously exaggerated cannot still surpass 200k which is about 1,300 dollars. I think it is rather too little an amount for a wedding. To hire a useful hall for white wedding is about 1.5 million($10,000) which is about 7.5. times the value of your list.
$10,000 for a hall huh Where in Nigeria,Abagworo ?

INNO18: The person that asked this question deserves to be flogged! So u mean if by fate i happen to find myself working in Maiduguri, i should build a duplex there and when ever i go to my villa i'll go and squat under the same hut with my Grandma? ThankGod for Igbo people that have value for Anything 'Village'. The rule in Igboland is simple. Leave the village,Go to the city, when you make money come back to ur root and invest!
And there is an Igbo proverb that says "Aku luo uno amali onye kpalia" and "Ekwusia na ama ebulu naa na obi". A word is enough for the wise.
CultureRe: People Build Better Houses In The Village: Why? by NRIPRIEST(m): 12:37pm On Mar 11, 2013
odumchi: If war were to break out in Lagos, of what value would a Lekki estate be? Would I carry my mansion atop my head as I run home? Building homes in one's native town is the best way of investing in one's self. I believe Abiriba people do this best.
No,I don't think so because you have never been to Nnewi,Amichi,Ozubulu,Umuoji,Oraukwu,Awka-etiti,Osumenyi,Alor-London and every other Anambra town with heavy wealth.
SportsRe: Enyimba FC Fan Thread - The People's Elephant by NRIPRIEST(m): 3:01am On Mar 11, 2013
ukukaegbu: I rarely missed any Enyimba match when I was still in Aba and when I was schooling in Enugu in their matches against Enugu Rangers.
Please, are Maxwell Ojobo and Josiah Maduabuchi still with the club?
Up Enyi!
Josiah returned after a brief stint at the Enugu giants. About the Ojobo guy,do you mean Ochuko Ojobo. If that who you meant then i think he is still there but on the bench. Enyimba signed a lot of fantastic players this season like Ayalogu and co and only the fittest get to play.

Enyi aga na nkpa....The pride of the Nigerian league!
PoliticsRe: Shoprite Enters Anambra As Obi Lays Foundation For $30m Mall by NRIPRIEST(m): 11:16pm On Mar 10, 2013
Afam4eva: Even though the coming of shoprite to Onitsha will affect other small scale businesses, i think it's best cos it will make Onitsha traders to start thinking far. There's no reason why those rich Onitsha traders should not setup something similar to Shoprite.
You obviously are the one who needs to get the facts straight sir. OLUKUMI DOES INFACT EXIST, in a town called Ugbodu under the aniocha north lg which i believe and which everyone who comes from Delta State knows is under the Anioma ethnic group. And we (Olukumis) do have a relationship with the yorubas. AND WE ARE NOT DESENDANTS OF A SINGLE MAN. You are one shameless liar and you should be ignored....you once said "odogwu/odogu" isnt an Igbo name even after the name was translated in Ika. Another time you lied about Benin ppl calling you Ika which was a very big lie because i stayed in Bini for close to six yrs and had friends from kwale,Agbor, enuani, bini and even igbanke. We call these ppl bendel Igbo while edos refer to us as owvie-Igbo. Anothet time you said you understand forty percent of bini language which is impossible for someone who hasnt lived with bini for ages. Hell, most bini ppl doesnt even speak their language talk more of an Igbo.

Now to my question proper: If you becomes the EZE-IGBO Nl for the second time how would you work to influence the IGBO,especially the Omanbalas to pull their finances togethet to give them more financial muscles to compete in the Nigerian economic platform, which is currently dominated by the sw and northhuh

Do you have any tips how I should go about it? I plan to change my outfits from the traditional Igbo "judge" to the Yoruba aso oke perhaps. How do I incorporate carrying the palm wine as well as other Yoruba traditions?

Thanks!
O! Anambra my beloved state. I shed tears for u. When shall we emerge from this dark valley of shadow of "EGO NA EKWU" politics. A state where MONEY is worshipped more than ZEUS. A state where confirmed illiterate 419ers, scammers, looters, money doublers, counterfeiters, adultraters, robbers, oil bunkerers, kidnappers, arsonists, convicts, high profile debtors, ritualists, international con artists, sharp practice masters, occult grand masters, contract killers, economic hostage takers, serial state pocket pickers etc are celebrated and made kings. My brothers lets call a spade, a spade! IFEANYI UBA IS NOTHING BUT 22CARAT UNALLOYED PURE TROUBLE FOR OUR STATE. Only those who are blind will see nothing in this his intent. His debt profile is currently far bigger than him, and his only sure way of turning things around is to get his criminal fingers on our states fund. I see no good in dis KITE hovering over our HEN & its CHICs. The earlier we let him know that we know his NASTY INTENTIONs, the better for us all. Where r d CHINUA ACHEBEs? The time to raise ALARM IS NOW!!!!!
Who is this "water brain" ?? Is this alll you have to contribute here? ? I seriously doubt you are a true Omanbala!
