CultureRe: Do We Actually Need English Names by NRIPRIEST(m): 8:17pm On Jul 16, 2012
afam4eva: The British left this country over 50 years ago yet Nigerians and Africans at large still continue to be slaves. It's more annoying when people refer to th Foreign names as the "first name" and the native names as the "middle name" or "other name". I changed my first name from James(Hebrew) to Afam(Igbo). James can tale the back sit. James ko Nehemiah ni.
Dude, you are not alone on this; Changed my baptismal name Joseph(Hebrew) to my grandfathers name Udemegbuna(core ancient Nri name). Changed all my credencials and now my first name, middle name and surname are all Igbo names and I will do same for my children.

CultureRe: Are There Any Experts On Traditional Igbo Religion? by NRIPRIEST(m): 6:56pm On Jul 16, 2012
Ptolomeus,Igbos dont worship Orisa deity that exclusively yoruba thing and we dont have any connection ever with the yoruba. Our world views are very different. I understant you are very interested in the yoruba culture and traditional religion but I will advice you to be mindful of what you read on the internet or books written by revisionists. Igbo and the yorubas are two different people who never interacted prior to the coming of the europeans. We are two very different ppl in all ramification. Thanks

CultureRe: Why Don't The People Of Onelga In Rivers State Sell Land to Igbos? by NRIPRIEST(m): 6:07pm On Jul 13, 2012
ChinenyeN: Now you're just not making any sense. What does Ngwa have to do with your issues with Omoku?
Why are you always pulling your own ppl down? Is it for attension or you are just unsure about your Igboness? I can see you are an intelligent guy but why not put it in the betterment of the collective Igbo agenda ?
