ChinenyeN: huh?I dont expect you to know the part you bolded and I dont have the willingness to translate it to you, either. Keep fooling yourself! |
ChinenyeN: huh?Am tipsy, happy and blowing smokes on a cool rainy day...Why would I be frustrated over a trivial matter as this. Dont get angry at me because I didnt make you Ngwa. God for reasons best known to him made you one ! |
brokoto: i think you are blinded by either Hate, Jealousy or both and this will be my last reply to you. i wouldn't want to start insulting you too. the original post asked a question, someone saw my comment on another thread and realised i was from that town and asked me to clarify. i answered it to the best of my knowledge, check my previous posts. i haven't insulted anybody or tribe here and i'll continue to abide by my personal decision not to join the mass of nairalanders who do that. we donot have to prove anything to anybody anywhere at anytime. thank youI guess you are a "born again christian"...Abeg go sit your a..ss somewhere because you are running dry... You dont have to prove anything because you have absolutely nothing to prove. And you said am jealous or hateful ? And I wanna know why I will be jealous or hateful of place I have never been to or meet her ppl. Come to my hometown Umuoji and maybe you are the one that should be jealous or hateful... And guess what,we dont sell land to non Umuojians not even for a billion dollars. Get da fhuck out you decendant of a weak man! |
ChinenyeN: Lol at this topic.I dont have hypertenssion you miserable son of a ..... I am confused as to why they grew the balls to not sell lands to specificlly Igbos and why should we be worried about it. They even have a LAW in respect ! I swear Chinenye obulu na njilu nsi nga aku gia! |
brokoto: first of all i didn't say i liked the land selling arrangement. but that is not a reason to start insulting my tribe. on the other hand it is people like you that make such laws seem wise in retrospect. the fact that we do have 24hrs free electricity, is it not a good thing? i bet you if even half of Nigeria can boast of 24hrs uninterrupted PAID electricity we would have been among the top 20 economy in the world. let me tell you why the Igbos are dying to buy our land: 1) it is very cheap compared to PH which is just a 75 mins drive away.I can careless if you sell land to Igbos or not because you are a "non factor" in Nigeria power play. Nigeria has 36 states and I will not invest in your land even if its the last place standing to invest in Nigeria! Yorubas,Hausas are more than willing to sell land to us. Secondly,we view ppl who sell their fathers lands as "ofekes" how much more to a stranger. You said you are a strong tribe and I wanna know what makes you strong...oh,i guess your popularity comes from not selling land to the Igbos. Tell me one great man from Omoku. This oil will finally run dry and we will see what you do next. You sell lands to people on the other side of the country but not your neigbhours who hasnt done anything to you? You scared of us cause we are industrious and can achieve more than those with oil in their land. Shame on you and your tribe! Lazy and weak nonentities! |
@Okija juju, am not bitter but confused why we gather here to discuss ppl as insignificant as Omoku! We are not in the same level as them. We are the IGBOS mudafuker! Its an insult for that foool to come here I tell us Igbos marry their women just so we can qualify to buy land in their place! We dont need all these little overglirify villages seeking attention. We Igbos fought Nigeria and their westrrn allies for a brutal two years and look at us today. Whenever I remember I am Igbo my brain goes close to exploding! Let them keep their land but they should remember that time is a teacher. We dont need these ppl they are the ones that should be begging for our friendship. If you like cut off your d iick and plant it in Omoku land thats your business. Ekwusiam ka oram. |
You will still not believe the truth even if its staring you on the face....You repeat the same post everytime without ansewering a legitimate question put accross to you. Throwing insults will not help you. You are a lieing baastaard who has been caught many times but you will nit own up to it. "Odo" also mean mortar in my Idenmili dialect. First you said Odogwu isnt same as Odogun which you said is same as Edogun which you said means bini warlord ! I caught you there and you start pulling new stunts. I ask you again, what does "odogun" mean in Ika dialect ? And dont tell me it means edo warlord cause thats a bare faced lie. Odogun is same as Odogwu and you know this. Stop twisting facts,mr. Ogun means medicine in Bini so I dont know where you get your "bini warlord". Its a known fact that there Bini migrants who settled in Ika land after the early Nris has already established a culture there. Discussion with you is a waste of time anyway. |
Johnchike: If i was to chooseGaaadem ! This is the funniest post I have read in months. |
ifyalways: I think a new section should be created, something like "onila and her beauties" section. You cant emphasize it better,Ify. That Onila girl has turned this section to childsplay. Peruse through the section and its dominated by beauty this beauty that! She is obsessed! I don tire. |

Ace: Be strong Melissa, you must be going through hell and I feel very sorry for your predicament. My honest opinion is, however, that the man you are engaged to is not being honest or completely straightforward with you. I know of countless inter-racial relationships comprising of an Igbo man with a European/North American/Asian woman. Too many to mention. On a personal level, my father is Igbo and my mother is European and my mother has nevery been treated poorly or disrespectfully by the family. While it is true that Igbo parents prefer their offspring to marry within the tribe and sometimes even within the state (for example Imo marrying Imo), it is extremely rare that a family will go through such lenghts as you describe to prevent an inter racial marriage. Also it is extremely uncharacteristic of an Igbo family to prevent the brother of your fiance from travelling abroad the way you described. If anything the Igbo welcome any attempt to migrate in order to better our lot in life through education or business. This is nonsense! Who are you to speak for over 35 million Igbos around the world. You are not even a pure Igbo! Just because your father was a weak man and couldnt protect his cultural values doesnt mean the rest of Igbos are like him! Am sure you dont have the ability to read, speak nor write in Igbo because of your father irresponsibility and weaknesses . You need to STFU and continue where your father stopped! Inferiors ! |
Good. so then why are you crying you yourself just said that it is my "opinion", right? and that im entitled to it and its my prerogative(special power/right/privilege)![]() there is nothing to insult about my parents, and im sure i would be able to defend it appropriately. When a person belongs to a tribe, he/she has a duty towards preserving its rich, culture, heritage, bloodline, etc. The culture of a tribe depends on the continuation of its purer bloodline.(i dont need to go into details. remember what happened to the Native Americans and the Early Europeans??) When a person cannot commit this basic duty by marrying among his people, within a tribe that has given him everything: his identity, culture, a life, etc., he has no sense of responsibility. Now the reason why i said that is because its pretty much obvious. A person only does such things when feels horn.y/sexually tempted to such a woman. And everyone knows todays already mixed white woman are expert at the art of seduction. Now, the reason why i called him weak, because such a person who is ready to leave all his past behind for a white-skinned hotness is a man who can be easily misled. who knows what other things can tempt him to do things. maybe money, more women, etc.. This is just my thorough analysis of course.
+100 ! Any man who marries outside of his tribe is a weak minded fhuck up! How do you intend to advance the cultural values of your ppl? Women are the ones that raise kids as most men are always working to provide for their family and how do you teach your children their mothers tongue which has every aspect of your cultural value embended in it ? I liken such person to a sold slave who will never trace his lineage again! Do they even know how they are perceived with their foreign wife ? I am not even thinking of marrying outside Anambra talk more of Igboland! Abomination ! |

ChinenyeN: Because I read somewhere that they have their own script.Aha! Where did you read that and provide the link, too. I see your motive from afar, olibe osiba ! |
Odumchi, ha ha ha ha! I know you will research about Umuoji oneday and stumble into that Okoli Otie story.....I know about it but I dont want to discuss it on NL because of my strong doubt. On a serious note,we have Aro settlers in Umuoji who we used to call "Ukpabi" but they are currently called "Umuobia"(immigrants) and have acculturated into the Nri culture and wont even accept to be called Aros. Now,about Okoli Otie; There is nothing about Umuoji history that suggest we were onc e Aros. Our socio cultural and religious structure alone will tell you we are nothing but Nri decendants. Our progenitor is "Okodu",the father of Umuoji,Abatete and Nkpor. The names we bear in Umuoji, our deities and and festivals suggests an undisputed Nri connections! As you can see from the history you read about Igwulube Okodu,it has the Okoli Otie and Okodu versions. I personaly think that the Aro settlers has something to do with the Okoli Otie story because there is nothing to validate it ! I have spoken to some Okoduans about the Aro version and they couldnt agree more. I have no problem if I find out we are Aros but as it stand we are of Nri lineage....Daalu nwanne. |
ikekings: Oga odenigbo mua adiro ebe akwa nwanyi ooooo....Ikekings nwanne, oburo gi kam na agwa....Obu pres elect aka nwa dafur....Ify na eme di guy "looking no see anything" Ify bu correct "ogbonge" di na nwanyi ! |
Crayola, thanks very much on your write up on IKENGA; There was this great medicine man from my town who died in the '90s and my my said that they had to bury him with a ram because he has "Aka Ikenga" and I didnt understand what Ikenga means until recent and I also noticed that most ppl that has the Ikenga in my town are medicine men. |
And who told you that "ogbeje" and "ozomor" are benin names ? Those names are present in my town,Umuoji. |
Agbotaen, why do you think you can come here and lie to us and get away with it! I repeat,"Odogun" is Odogwu's version of Ika dialects...In Igbo Odogwu means a powerful or a great man and it has the same meaning in Ika! Secondly, edogun or odogun doesnt mean benin warlord !! You are pathetic mister!! You are a disgusting lieing baaastard! Let Physics come here and tell us what EDOGUN or ODOGUN mean in Benin. Common sense will tell you that odogun is the dialectical variance of Ika.....You even make up new words and credited them to edo so your claims will seem authentic.....You are a sick fool ! |
In my hometown of Umuoji Igwe is chosen but you have to meet the elusive criterias....Be educated, have good name,be well connected. Your family name must not have a single stain or else you are blacklisted ! However, the Eze Ani is strictly hereditary from father to son. Nobody fhucks with that one! |
Wonders shall never end! Who are these Onelga ppl ? Firstly,I will not set foot there talk more of buying lands there....Kogi and Benue ppl are giving lands free to Igbos to invest and we are hear discussing a group with no presence! If they like let them sell lands to yorubas and boko harem.......I dont care! If they like let them claim Uhrobo I dont care but one thing I am sure of is that they will need our help 00pm oneday just like the Ijaws....These ppl are probably not up to 100,000 in population and we are here discusing a non factor..Op is probably from there and comehere to seek cheap populaity amongst the IGBOS! Op,tell ur ppl I said they should shove all ther lands into their weak a..ss! Everybody wan use Igbos shine! |
Callimo: It seems to me u beneft much from that Obi gvmnt. I was in town for easter celebration in Anambra and to tell u the candid truth; El-Rufai was just right. Bro, I cried and could not eat for days because of the state of affairs in Anambra my own state. Anybody on this forum who has been to the state lately will definitely know that Anambra needs a Moses.Liar! Liar!! Liar!!! Disgusting Liar!!!! |
somtimes, I wonder who made you an eze on this NL.. Where was I then? You are a disgrace to the igbo race! For you to think a docile governor like obi will be given a presidential ticket shows how mentally deficient you are. Obi is a failure and every Anambrarian knows that. El Rufai said what everybody already knows. He may goof sometimes but he is correct here. Obi has dragged the state to backwardness and its not that hard to see. You may not know about his obsession with buying houses in Abuja or massive corruption. And note that you have not contributed any meaningful thing to the igbo race on NL with this your 'office'. I will never allow a fan of backwardness lead me!
Who are you talking to? You are uncouth, uncivili and lacks decorum!! Most Igbos here respect and support nwa Anaedo, hence you input doesnt hold weight...We Igbos on NL doesnt recognize you...You are a nonentity here! |
malc619: Some Ibos enjoy "playing the victim"..... Maybe an aftermath of the a s s whooping they received during the Civil War..You are a smelly pig; If you wanna sound civil we can talk but if you come here and start speaking from your ass...Did you say El rufai intellect?? A man who cant comport himself in a civilived manner...always talking out of character and even called GEJ a member of Boko HAREM....He will soon end up like buhari!! |
I highly respect Peter Obi not because of the selfless service he has brought Anambra and Igboland but because of his prestige and integrity! Tell me one thing this man has done wrong and bring your facts to prove it! He has said cathegorically that he will quit politic after his tenure as governor and I believe him cause he is a decent man...He doesnt speak from both side of his mouth like ppl like Fashola. |
shymmex: But how did an objective analysis became an insult to the Igbo race?Anambra is like the face of Ndigbo and Rufai knows that Peter is a force in Igboland and can influence Igbo voter, hence Rufai moves to discredit him and thereby making Igbo voter to not trust him...Rufai knows what he is doing...He dont know anything about Anambra state....He doexnt know the amount of infrastructure Peter Obi has brought to the state...Peter Obi is the man that united all the Igbos behind GEJ.... You see why Rufai wants to bring Obi and Anambra down. |
bashr8: elrufai is crazy iwonder who is feeding him with such stupid statements, he should go and see un, napep and cbn ranking of anambra, anambra retains its position in top five best states all round, both literact ,employment, quality of life etc. its obvious he is a troll he is just trying to discredit APGANwanne, fourth best not fifth....The international community has applauded the governor for his prudent funds management of the state....Anambra is the least poorest state in the whole of Nigeria...Peter has excelled in health, agriculture, transportation, roads and housing, education, power and every single department of governance...He has created thousands of jobs for our unemployed youths. Anybody who dare criticizes this man is simply jealous and intimidated.....I wonder why he is in the economic team of the presidency. Peter is a cult figure in Igboland!! |
As simple as that... Why is nobody attacking akpabio, fashola and chime? Because they are putting in work. I just wonder why some of these folks who think like terrorists are igbos. The governor is looting the peoples money. Somebody calls him out and instead of responding with facts stating otherwise he wants to use same people he is looting sadistically to cover up. Peter Obi is a lameduck
I have always known you are a big fool; Can you prove how Obi is looting Anambra state money? Can you bring a profe from opposition party? Have you been to Anambra ? Can you give account of the development this man has brought to Anambra? The only ppl downgrading Peter Obi are not Anambrarians! El-rufai is slowpoke... He knows nothing about Anambra state. |
dplordx: I sometimes wonder how a basterd like Obi ever got to become the governor of one of the most blessed state in Nigeria. You are a cursed eddeot! You are uninformed and ignorant....I spit on your carcass!! |
So, Isuofia and Isunjaba doesnt have any connection with Isuama ? Its also possible there is no a defined Isu dialect and their exact area of domain is still in question and they seem not to know themselves. Its quite sad! |
